00:00If He-Man's hoping to have any chance of defeating Skeletor, well, everybody else is going to have to pitch
00:04in and lend a hand.
00:05And a head.
00:06Here's a look at the Mattel, Master Universe Chronicles, Ram Man, and Fisto.
00:28The Master of the Universe Chronicles, Ram Man, and Fisto 2-pack is an adult collector action figure set by
00:34Mattel that ties directly in the 2026 Master Universe live-action movie.
00:38The 6.5-inch figure features authentic screen-to-shelf accuracy, reflecting the backstories and characters' likenesses from the cinematic
00:46release.
00:47In the 2026 movie storyline, Ram Man and Fisto serve as heroes of the Royal Guard.
00:52When Skeletor conquers Eternia, he forces them into the depths of Sub-Eternia.
00:56They eventually escape and, alongside He-Man, lead the underground resistance movement to reclaim their planet.
01:03Anybody dare to bring trouble to the doorstep of the castle? We're going to meet these two head-on.
01:06We're not going to get ahead of ourselves just yet and look at the details that come in clear with
01:10these figures or their accessories.
01:11First, I'd like to thank the folks over at Mattel that did provide this sample we could have a look
01:15at.
01:16Chronicles, Ram Man, Chronicles, Fisto, sold as a set, are available right now, either in stores or online.
01:21For how tall the figures are going to stand, Ram Man is the shorter of the two.
01:24He's actually 6 inches in height, or about 15.5 centimeters tall.
01:28Then to Fisto, one of my personal favorites from the film.
01:31He's actually more or less 6.25 inches in height, or roughly about 16 centimeters tall.
01:37Of this scale, I happen to have one Ram Man and a couple of Fistos.
01:41Here's what the figure looks like with the Master Universe Masterverse New Eternia Ram Man.
01:45Then over here, we also got, of course, the New Eternia release of Fisto.
01:48We also got one from Revelation.
01:50Revelation is going to be a little bit shorter, but I do think I like the head sculpt on that
01:53one a little bit more.
01:54Then, of course, if we're dealing with the movie, and we're dealing with Chronicles, we, of course, did get some
01:58of the heroes, at least already.
01:59Of course, we got the Chronicles version of He-Man, and the Chronicles version of Duncan.
02:03I know you were already going to say that both Fisto and Ram Man come in clue with energy effects,
02:07but I hate to beat you to the punch.
02:09The figure, first of all, for Ram Man does come in clue with an axe.
02:12I'm assuming it's probably Ram Man's, just because, again, like, generally with Ram Man's, he always tends to have an
02:16axe.
02:17Do you like the look of this axe?
02:19It's, I'm guessing, molded here in brown plastic.
02:22Then, likely, they probably have gone in there and painted off the dual blades.
02:26Looks really good, though.
02:27I think it's also a really nice touch of detail that they also added this skull head.
02:31At least it does look like a skull head.
02:33It could be something completely different, though.
02:35It does fit into his hands, actually, already.
02:37You don't even have to worry about swapping out the hands.
02:39In case you are curious, though, Ram Man does also come in clue with a pair of close fists.
02:43Of course, it would just involve you yanking off the hands from the ends of the forearms, swapping out with
02:48these.
02:49But, again, like, if you're choosing to have him display with the axe, which I'm choosing to display with the
02:53axe,
02:54I don't know if there would be a need at all to change out the hands to get the axe
02:57into his hand,
02:58whether you want to go with this side, or I guess it doesn't really matter.
03:01Get the axe, we'll get things going.
03:03Go ahead and just pop that into his hand.
03:06Now, the benefit of also these figures having double hinges in the elbows,
03:09I've got to say, though, like, the articulation on these figures are smooth.
03:12You can easily, though, have Ram Man with the axe over his shoulder like that,
03:16and that's likely going to be the way I'm going to display the figure.
03:19As a possible option as well, Ram Man does also come in clue with some leg effect pieces, too.
03:24These leg effects are something that we actually see in the film.
03:28One of the cool things that I like about these characters is that they actually have their gimmicks used and
03:33shown in the film.
03:34So, like, Ram Man, for example, does actually have springing legs.
03:37I don't want to give anything away just yet, for those that haven't seen the film.
03:40I would hope by now.
03:42Everybody has seen at least Massie Universe once, twice, seven times.
03:47I think it's already been announced we're going to be getting a sequel of Massie Universe, and I can't wait.
03:52Super excited for that.
03:53But the energy effect piece, the springing effect pieces for Ram Man,
03:57actually involves, by starting first with a translucent yellow plastic,
04:01and they've actually gone in and painted in this,
04:04so it actually looks like his legs have separated.
04:06Kind of like the accordion thing, like the original toy.
04:09To do all this, though, we're going to go ahead.
04:11Do you mind if I just remove the axe right now?
04:13Okay, let's take the axe out of his hand.
04:15If you look to his lower legs, what you'll actually have to do first is just detach his boots.
04:20His boots are by pegs, so you just kind of remove the pegs first, both sides.
04:26Then you take the leg pieces, and the leg pieces, clearly, I mean, obviously you have a peg right there.
04:30You have a hole right there.
04:31It can't work the other way around.
04:33It just doesn't work that way.
04:34Just attach, then, the legs onto the pegs.
04:37I found, though, that you really have to put a fair bit of pressure onto that,
04:40and do the same thing on this side.
04:43Get those twisted completely on there.
04:45I think, actually, this one of the two is the harder one to get them on.
04:49Then, once that's in place, go ahead and revisit his legs, or at least his boots, and just attach them
04:54in place.
04:56Now, one thing it will do, though, is it's going to make Rayman a whole lot more taller.
05:00I mean, even again, when you compare him now next to Fisto, he is quite considerably tall.
05:05I think a workaround to that, though, is obviously you can also bend the knees.
05:08Sometimes, though, when you do bend the knees, you do find yourself popping these off,
05:12but they're easy enough to put back in place.
05:14Get maybe, like, some sort of bend in the leg going here.
05:17I guess, also, too, you could probably use yourself like a standing base,
05:20something just to kind of prop them up.
05:21Or you could also, again, the figure does have peg holes in the bottoms of his feet, after all,
05:26get yourself, like, a display stand, and it could look like you've got him in a starting-to-spring pose.
05:32Let's just remove these right now.
05:34Just one last look to look at the...
05:35Okay.
05:36We'll pop these off.
05:39Do the same thing on this side also, as well.
05:43And let's just go ahead and pop the legs.
05:45We want to make sure, of course, we've got them facing the right way.
05:47That's the right way on this side.
05:49There we go.
05:51And on this side, too.
05:52There we go.
05:54Nice, satisfying snap.
05:55Now we know at least the boots aren't going to be going anywhere.
05:57For the likeness, though, of Ram Man, I think it very much does look like the actor in the movie.
06:01What, Yan?
06:02Is it Yan Zhu Zhang?
06:05Oh, man, I completely butchered his name.
06:06I'm so sorry for that.
06:07But, of course, the actor that did play the role of Ram Man, I thought he was good enough.
06:11I don't know if I liked him as much as Fisto.
06:13I think Fisto, outside, of course, the He-Man and Man-at-Arms, Fisto probably was my favorite character from
06:18the film.
06:18I just love the fact that they actually found a way to incorporate Ram Man and still gave him a
06:22way to actually have a working feature.
06:24Of course, he's using his head quite a lot in the movie.
06:27Face-wise, though, it does very much look like the actor.
06:30I do like that they've then used a nice bit of chrome there for the top of his shoulders.
06:34And, of course, the helmet goes right into that as well.
06:36Despite, though, what would almost look like he wouldn't be able to move his head because everything is so close
06:40in quarters,
06:41you can quite easily, though, move Ram Man's head back and forth and up and down.
06:46The rest of the details of the figure, I mean, very much does look like Ram Man.
06:48Where's my other Ram Man?
06:50I'll just put him down here for a second just to, again, compare him.
06:53I mean, also just short of the race.
06:55I mean, clearly, though, like the body-wise and the way they've designed the costume is exactly the same.
07:00The new Eternia one still had, like, the rubbery legs.
07:03Luckily, though, knock on wood, my legs, my legs, not my legs, the legs of Ram Man haven't split over
07:09time.
07:10But, again, like detail-wise, they're very much similar to one another.
07:12The only thing he's kind of missing a little bit is he doesn't have as much of that skull kind
07:17of belt buckle that this Ram Man has.
07:19He has sort of like the indication of something, but I think it's actually just forged-out metal.
07:24Again, the detail looks really good on this guy.
07:26The chain is painted just a different, slightly different color than the rest of that chrome.
07:30Of course, he has, like, the same kind of gold bracers, the chrome bracers, I should say.
07:34They're also on his arms.
07:35And the same sort of red tunic skirting that the original toy also would have had as well.
07:40Really nice-looking figure.
07:41For Ram Man's articulation, I know we've kind of looked already at his head.
07:44The head does rotate all the way around.
07:46It gets kind of tight, but it does do the full rotation.
07:49Head can look up and down, just a little bit.
07:52You can also rock it back and forth there, too.
07:54Top of the torso is going to be on a ball joint, so it allows the torso, obviously, to do
07:58what it's doing right now.
07:59The only thing that's kind of a little bit more limited for Ram Man is that you really can't move
08:03his arm all the way around.
08:04It hits right away the back, and it does the same on the front.
08:07So you can't really get a full rotation all the way around.
08:10He still can pull off, though, a T-pose, so that's still nice to see.
08:14Swivel in his bicep.
08:15Double hinge on his elbow, nice and smooth.
08:18And the hands do rotate all the way around to hinge back and forth.
08:21Legs split.
08:22And because, again, his skirting does have these slits in them, his splits can go pretty far, pretty far.
08:29Legs can, of course, go forward and back as well.
08:31A little bit of swivel there at the top of the thigh.
08:33Nice, smooth double hinge on the knee.
08:35Because, again, like the way that you have to attach the energy effect pieces, the spring effect pieces, the legs
08:40do have some poseability, so you can rotate the boots all the way around.
08:43Ankle hinge up and down.
08:45Ankle rocker as well.
08:48John Hugh Zhang, I think, was, again, the actor that did play the role of Ram Man.
08:52I thought, again, he was fine.
08:53I didn't have really any issues.
08:55I was actually more excited at the fact that we actually had a Ram Man in the film.
08:57But I've got to say, though, my favorite character of at least this two-pack, by far, is Fisto.
09:03Fisto does have some accessories.
09:05Now, again, you could choose, really, if you want to have the figure displayed with the axe.
09:08I feel like, really, the axe more belongs to Ram Man.
09:11But if you did want to have, though, instead, a Fisto with it, no one's really telling you that, hey,
09:16no, you've got to have the axe with Ram Man.
09:19He belongs to Ram Man.
09:20No, he doesn't.
09:21He belongs to anyone that you want.
09:23But Ram Man, though, however, does actually have two ways of displaying his glove.
09:28If he's trying to reason with somebody, then he has the flat hand.
09:32Now, I thought for a second, actually, that the flat hand had some articulation to it, but it doesn't.
09:37It's molded in a way, though, that he actually does.
09:39You can either have him displayed with just a relaxed hand like this.
09:42Or, again, if he wants to reason with somebody before he closes up his fist and gives somebody a knuckle
09:47sandwich,
09:48you can also have him displayed like that as well.
09:50If you prefer, however, though, Fisto to have a fist, go ahead and just, like, pop the hand off.
09:56And he does then come with a substitute hand that has all the fingers closed in.
10:01Of course, making a fist.
10:02I'm going to go ahead and just pop the hand back onto the peg.
10:04A little tight, but it does get on there.
10:07There we go.
10:08There we go.
10:09I would certainly, though, display Fisto more with a fist.
10:12It's his name, after all.
10:14To add a little bit of extra zing to that, some pepper to the stake,
10:17the figure does also come in clear with a blast effect, an energy effect piece that just fits over top
10:21of his hand like that.
10:23Oh, man, oh, man.
10:24This looks fantastic.
10:26And, again, it gives a little bit more mileage, obviously, to displaying this figure on the shelf.
10:30It gives a much-need pop of color.
10:32And, of course, there's a lot more than your eyes can focus in on as well.
10:35Using, then, some translucent blue plastic.
10:38It's a little harder, obviously, to make out the fist, but you know it's still in there.
10:43Just remove that as well.
10:44Now, that's not only the only fist that he has.
10:46He actually does have a fist on this side.
10:49So, if you have no plans, for example, to have the figure displayed with the axe,
10:53I'm sure, though, you could probably display him with something else instead.
10:56Just take, then, off the gripping hand and replace it instead with the fist hand.
11:00I mean, it's nowhere near the size of the other fist.
11:03But, again, if you want to have dueling fists, why not?
11:06You can do that.
11:07For the look, though, at Fisto, I mean, just, again, a really nice-looking figure.
11:11Played in the movie, again, by Johann Hocker Johannesson.
11:15I know, again, I've so, so sorely botched that name.
11:20But, again, one of the cool things, though, about the actor is on the red carpet when they
11:24interviewed him, he actually brought his original Fisto that he had as a kid.
11:27Kind of tucked it in his pocket of his jacket.
11:30How cool is that?
11:31Imagine playing a role in a movie, and then in the red carpet, you actually bring the toy
11:35that you had as a kid that you're now playing in the film itself.
11:39Likeness-wise, again, I think it very much does look like Fisto in the film.
11:42Fisto, though, I mean, again, one little issue I had with Fisto, and I'm not going to give
11:46it away for those that have not seen the movie.
11:48But he sort of, unfortunately, has to...
11:50Well, I'm not going to say it.
11:51I'm not going to say it for those that haven't seen the movie.
11:53Fisto, I think, is still one of the more likable characters for at least the Masters.
11:57And very much, like his armor, looks like the original toy.
12:00Now, I don't have my original Fisto here right now, but what I do have, though, is the new
12:05Eternia Fisto.
12:07He's bigger.
12:08He's much larger, obviously, of a figure than the one that we get from the Chronicles.
12:11This, I think, is now going to be the scale size class that Mattel is going to be doing
12:14with the Masters moving forward.
12:17There's very much, again, like the details carried over from this guy.
12:20This guy has, again, a little bit more when it comes to sculpting of his shoulders, but
12:24very much, though, the same sort of idea.
12:27Now, Fisto usually has either, like, a blue or a purple tunic.
12:31In this case, though, for the film, he had himself a blue tunic.
12:34Again, really nice detail, though, overall on the figure.
12:36I love that his armor looks like, again, it's been hand-forged.
12:40Is there some hammered-out marks there that would have been there naturally?
12:43Spin this around, so you can see there's some nice detailing there on the back.
12:46I like that it's also got a bit of a scuff to it as well.
12:50This guy has seen some wars, some battles, obviously, so, of course, his armor should reflect
12:54that as well.
12:55Nice detailing down below.
12:57I feel like his tunic should be maybe just a little bit longer, but, I mean, saying that,
13:01too, it does at least, though, I mean, he's already kind of a little limited when it comes
13:04to moving his legs forward and back, just because, again, the tunic hangs down as much
13:07as it does.
13:08If it hung any lower, it would just make, then, the legs a little bit harder to actually
13:12move back and forth.
13:15Four, speaking of which, Fisto's articulation, the head's going to be on a ball joint.
13:18Again, because he has the beard, sort of in the same way as Ram Man, you kind of have
13:22to, like, lift his head up if you want to do a full rotation.
13:26I'm sure nobody in their right mind is going to be displaying their figure like this anyways,
13:29but it does do a full rotation.
13:31Just watch for the chin.
13:32Head does move up and down.
13:34It does move also back and forth.
13:35Unlike, though, Ram Man, Fisto, you can see the full benefits of the new articulation
13:39system that they have in place.
13:40So he's got a ball joint here, but he's also got a ball joint at the base of the neck.
13:46Top of the torso, though, to you, he does have a ball joint there.
13:48He's got a ball joint at the base of the abdomen area there as well.
13:52The arm's little, again, more limited, more limited on this side, just because he's got
13:56this shoulder piece that hangs out just a little bit more.
13:59This arm, however, though, rotates all the way around.
14:02Sometimes, though, when you are rotating, you want to just kind of make sure that you've
14:04got the joint facing the right way when you bend the arm down.
14:08Swivel there in the bicep, double hinge on the elbow, and the hands rotate all the way
14:12around with a hinge back and forth.
14:14Whether you want to go with the larger hand or the smaller hand, it doesn't really matter.
14:17The articulation is exactly the same.
14:19Legs split.
14:20They split pretty far, I guess, this way.
14:23Maybe a little more limited this way, forward and back.
14:25The legs do seem like they drop down a little bit more, too, so that if you want a little
14:29bit extra clearance, drop the legs just down a little bit, and you can also move the
14:33legs a little bit further forward and back.
14:34Just make sure, though, you put the legs back where you found them.
14:37It's always good to return your legs back where you found them.
14:40Swivel at the top of the thigh, double hinge on the knee.
14:43Articulation also here as well for the boots.
14:45Ankle pivot up and down.
14:47Ankle rocker as well.
14:49Great-looking figures.
14:50Great, great-looking figures.
14:51Now, right now, there also has been announcements made.
14:55Of course, we're going to be getting some new Chronicles figures.
14:57I'm definitely looking forward to that.
14:58But in the meantime, though, what I have for my own personal collection is still, again,
15:02a He-Man and a Man-at-Arms.
15:03Of course, there's some baddies there as well, but I did want to occupy the entire reviewing
15:07space by bringing in also the villains, too.
15:10We are also still going to be getting a Chronicles Teal.
15:12I can't wait then for that.
15:14And I think also, I think memory serves me correctly, they also have already announced
15:18a movie tie-in Orko, which maybe, as far as I know, is only going to be a Mattel Creations
15:23release or website exclusive.
15:25But overall, really good-looking figures.
15:27The new articulation is not lost on me.
15:29I do think, though, like the new joint movement, a little smoother now on these Chronicle release
15:33figures.
15:34I know, again, it gets away from the larger-scale figures.
15:36So, like, if you're so kind of used to the idea of collecting Masterverse figures, which
15:40are clearly a lot more taller.
15:42If you don't mind the size difference, I got to say, like, the articulation now that they're
15:47doing here with the Master Universe Chronicles does feel smoother to kind of move the joints
15:51around.
15:52You can get these guys, I feel, in better poses.
15:54And I think they're probably also going to be using the same sort of proportions and the
15:58body designs and aesthetics for what they're probably going to be planning as well for their
16:01DC stuff moving forward as well.
16:03I think even if these Warriors of Eternity weren't sold as a set, I would still recommend
16:07them.
16:08Fisto I really liked in the movie, yet I find myself really liking Ram Man more as the figure.
16:13Just with the colors that they've given him, not to mention as well the spring effect
16:16pieces that can clamp onto the bottoms of his legs.
16:18You do want to make sure, though, and if you have a struggle to try to get them on there,
16:22you could always maybe heat them up first in hot water.
16:25Because I find sometimes the pegs don't firmly plant themselves inside the socket.
16:29But once you get them on the socket, once you get them on his legs, it does add a little
16:34bit of extra shelf appeal to the figure, especially if you get him in a crouched pose looking like
16:38he's about to leap.
16:40Fisto's no slouch, though, by no means.
16:42I mean, also, I really like Fisto in the movie.
16:43I think he translates well also in the figure.
16:46I do like that they've also, much like Ram Man, given him an effect piece that doesn't go
16:50on his legs, but goes on his one fist instead.
16:53This set is available right now, either in stores or online.
16:57Let me know down below in the comments section how many times you guys have seen the Masters
17:00movie.
17:01I've seen it none!
17:02Well, if you haven't seen it, if you've seen it none, I would certainly say at least
17:06see it one.
17:07It's that kind of movie that you really have to see on the big screen to really appreciate
17:10the effects, the characters, the story, and of course, Jared Leto's Skeletor.
17:15How many times, though, have you seen the Masters movie?
17:17Let me know down below in the comments section.
17:19I've now already seen it twice.
17:21I have plans probably to see it a third time before the movie hits streaming.
17:24Again, a big thank you to the folks over at Mattel that did provide this sample.
17:28Today we were having a look at the Masters movie, 2026 Chronicles Class, Ram Man, and
17:34Fisto.
17:35By the way, though, we already know we're getting a Chronicles Tila.
17:38I don't know if it's yet been announced.
17:40We still, of course, still need a Chronicles Machinac.
