00:00Oh, you thought I was done?
00:02Man, get your ass up.
00:04Come here.
00:07He wasn't done.
00:08I don't think he's going to be done.
00:09You just have to keep checking in with us.
00:12Max is doing a great job of scanning social media while we're on the air
00:16to get the latest from Brandon Ayuk.
00:21So a lot of activity in this video barrage that he's been in the midst of
00:28over the last, what is it, two and a half, three weeks now?
00:31Something like that.
00:32I mean, we've had probably.
00:33It feels like years, but, you know.
00:34Yeah, like I said, it's getting a little bit exhausting,
00:37but then he'll drop one that makes you laugh,
00:40like the one where he was wearing the Washington cap
00:43and the entrance foyer of some house talking about get your tickets,
00:49some back on tour, www.washingtoncommanders.com.
00:54I think he said commanders.com.
00:56I don't know.
00:56So maybe you can get tickets at commanders.com.
00:59I don't know.
00:59Plug in commanders.com.
01:00He may have gotten it incorrect.
01:02I think it is washingtoncommanders.com to get tickets.
01:05Commanders.com takes you right to the homepage.
01:07There you go.
01:08Nice job, Brandon.
01:13So we're going to play, I guess, the key videos from over the weekend.
01:20And it starts with the one that actually, it's kind of funny at the beginning,
01:26although it's kind of sad too.
01:27But there's a reference to Jaden Daniels in this video.
01:34Go ahead and play it.
01:35All right.
01:36But, like, on a real serious note, though,
01:41can anybody tell me if I really have a warrant out for my arrest in California?
01:46Because my bro said he's trying to throw in Cali.
01:51But if I got a warrant, bro, I'm going to have to stay out here.
01:58Well, who actually believes that he doesn't know that he's got an arrest warrant out for the misdemeanor,
02:05misdemeanor traffic violation that he so brilliantly videotaped himself, you know,
02:11breaking the law, going over 100 miles per hour, outside, what'd you say?
02:17Masterful gambit, sir.
02:18Yeah.
02:19Outside of the stadium in December.
02:23It was a little bit odd that it took so long for Santa Clara authorities to bring charges.
02:29But apparently, they finally got around to looking at it in February
02:32and then came up with the arrest warrant that has not been served because he hasn't been back in California.
02:39So, and look, he just said he's going to duck it.
02:41He's going to stay out here, wherever out here means.
02:44I don't know.
02:45I've read he's in Virginia.
02:47He's in Georgia.
02:49Not sure where all these videos are being shot from.
02:52But did you pick up on the middle portion of what he said?
02:59It is a little bit difficult to understand.
03:03The tone drops a little bit.
03:05But I think I've deciphered it.
03:07And I want you to play that again, Max, so I can tell everybody, just listen carefully
03:12when he talks about his bro and he's trying to stay in California.
03:17Play it again.
03:18All right.
03:19But like, on a real serious note, though,
03:24can anybody tell me if I really have a warrant out for my arrest in California?
03:29Because my bro said he's trying to throw in Cali.
03:34But if I got a warrant, bro, I'm going to have to stay out here.
03:39So, he says, because my bro says he's trying to throw in Cali.
03:42But if I got a warrant, bro, I might just have to stay out here.
03:47So, again, I don't know where out here is.
03:49But his bro is Jaden Daniels.
03:53And Jaden Daniels is going to be throwing in California.
03:56And some of the receivers on the team will be throwing with him in California.
04:00They've already done it once this year.
04:02You know, Ben asked him when Jaden was met with the media before one of the OTA sessions,
04:09Ben asked him about will he be throwing with other receivers.
04:13Or someone else asked him about throwing with other receivers.
04:15He said he was going to do it.
04:16And Ben said, will there be any new additions?
04:19And he said, well, you got to stay tuned.
04:21You might be able to see it on social media.
04:23So, I don't know.
04:24Was Jaden planning on throwing or including Brandon Ayuk in some of the throwing sessions?
04:30By the way, that's not tampering.
04:31You can work out with, you can throw with other players in the league.
04:36You're allowed to do that.
04:37He just can't recruit Brandon Ayuk on behalf of the team.
04:43So, look, he said that he may just be saying and be wishful about getting invited out to throw with
04:52Jaden.
04:53But that was the reference there.
04:55He does have a brother.
04:56I looked it up, but his brother's not a guy that he'd be throwing with in Cali.
05:02So, that was the first one.
05:04That dropped on Friday afternoon, maybe?
05:06That was Friday at like 1230.
05:09Because I walked out of here and they were like, did you see the Ayuk video?
05:11I said, there's another one?
05:13Yeah, we got to catch those before we're off the air.
05:17So, he's going to duck the arrest warrant for as long as he can.
05:21By the way, the other part of that is if he's being serious about that, that means that he may
05:29not be going to training camp when the 49ers training camp opens.
05:33I mean, who knows with this guy?
05:35I mean, the strategy is so grand and it's so nuanced and it's really hard to follow at times.
05:43It's clearly working for him.
05:45But who knows?
05:46It may change and maybe somehow he'll end up, you know, having the arrest warrant issued and end up at
05:52training camp with the reinstatement already completed.
05:56All right.
05:56So, that was video one.
05:58One down.
05:59The second one, what was that?
06:02One down.
06:02This next one is him talking about his agent.
06:05All right.
06:06Let's hear that one.
06:07Also, I do not have an agent.
06:10I terminated my SRA with my previous agent due to NFLPA last year in November.
06:20Yeah.
06:21So, look, there was a lot of discussion about whether or not his agent was still with him,
06:29whether or not, you know, he wanted to be with him when he was out, when he was missing or
06:35not, you know, reachable by people like TJ Hushmanzada and others that were out there saying,
06:40haven't talked to him in forever, reporters saying nobody apparently has talked to him.
06:45They don't know where he is during, you know, sort of the early to mid, maybe even to late spring.
06:51There was at least some reporting that suggested that maybe the agent was no longer his agent.
06:59So, he says he fired him.
07:02The SRA is a standard representation agreement.
07:06That's what the acronym stands for.
07:08So, he fired his agent all the way back in November.
07:13Now, there's more on the agent coming up in a future episode, which we're going to play for you.
07:20But now we know the status of whether or not he's being represented.
07:25I think it's been pretty obvious he hasn't been represented because the tact.
07:32And I think most of you know I've been mostly, well, 100% sarcastic on the brilliant strategy that he's
07:40employing here during this offseason.
07:42But it certainly appeared as if there wasn't anybody helping him, you know, over the last few weeks.
07:49Of course, somebody could have been helping him and he could have just been not listening.
07:52But you would have thought that there would have been something in there and the, you know, the filing for
07:58reinstatement or a suggestion to go back and face the arrest warrant.
08:02You know, whatever it would have been, would have been out there from an agent.
08:06All right.
08:06This was number three.
08:08Which one is this?
08:08This came out Saturday?
08:10Yeah, this came out Friday night, Saturday morning.
08:12This is him kind of clearing up the story with his agent.
08:15And he continues to talk about his agent's affiliation with a certain general manager.
08:20Okay.
08:21But yeah, back to the agent situation.
08:26I just wanted to clear that up because for some odd reason, he came out a couple weeks or a
08:34month ago and said that he still represents me.
08:36And I just wanted to let y'all know that that's not the case.
08:43And there is nobody that will be speaking for me.
08:47I ain't going to no third party.
08:49I ain't finna call no old to get on here and speak for me.
08:57Y'all going to get it from me live and direct.
09:00And actually, I'm not going to say they'd be lying for no reason.
09:04They'd be lying for a real specific reason.
09:08They'd be lying because they'd be hiding.
09:11But me, I ain't got nothing to hide.
09:16And that's why I'm still on that one team, despite the fact that I've been banging burgundy and gold for
09:25like two months now.
09:27So they got that funny business going on.
09:31Well, he would clear up the thing as to why he couldn't talk about Ryan Williams as the agent, by
09:39the way, with Athletes First.
09:41I don't think Ryan Williams has been quoted anywhere in the last few months about Brandon Ayuk.
09:47I'm right about that, correct?
09:49Yeah, I haven't seen anything.
09:51Because after I watched it, I searched to see if Ryan Williams had publicly said anything.
09:56The only thing I could find was reporting that said that Brandon Ayuk's agent has said that he has not
10:06talked to Brandon Ayuk in months.
10:08But he didn't necessarily say that he was still representing him.
10:14Remember, there was a period in which people were actually a little bit concerned about his whereabouts and what was
10:21going on with him.
10:22All right, that leads into a blockbuster.
10:25This was like a double episode because this is like three minutes.
10:28Are we going to play the whole thing?
10:30We can dump out of it whenever you're ready, but I have the full three minutes ready to go.
10:33This is him basically explaining what's been going on from his perspective.
10:38You know, there's always his truth, her truth, and the real truth lies somewhere in the middle.
10:46Yeah, this was him with a double episode late Saturday explaining everything, including his agent's relationship with the general manager,
10:57John Lynch.
10:58All right, y'all.
10:59So I understand that a lot of y'all is new here.
11:03And so I'm going to just fill y'all in and give y'all the details so that everybody can
11:10understand.
11:11The reason why the agent being fired is such an important detail in this whole story is because that agent
11:20is also the agent of the general manager for that one team.
11:28And that agent really started this whole s*** because I fired his ass, but he wanted to text my wife
11:37like he's smart.
11:38You don't ever text my wife.
11:40Your ass fired.
11:41Your ass grass.
11:41Get up out of here.
11:42Get going.
11:43So he is also the agent for the general manager of that team.
11:48And these s*** are all weird, weirdos, creepy predators.
11:54I would never, ever, ever f*** these s***.
11:59I would never, ever, ever f*** with these s***.
12:03I don't care how long I got to wait to get to you, my baby.
12:07But if it involves f***ing with them s*** first, I'm waiting.
12:10General manager going to pull up to my house.
12:13A weirdo.
12:14Like, bro, don't pull up to my house, uninvited boy.
12:18But I knew his ass was going to do it.
12:21So I'm looking at my camera, my front door camera.
12:24I see a big old white boy, white man, former NFL safety.
12:32And I'm like, oh, hell no.
12:35And I know my wife is about to be back home soon.
12:38So I have to call my wife and say, it's a big-ass white man at the house.
12:45I don't know what he's doing over there.
12:47He was not invited.
12:49Creepy.
12:50So if you're on your way home, just probably just spin the block a few times.
12:54Because I don't know what, bro, the same general manager that tried to run me down and come apologize for
13:02his head coach.
13:04Because his head coach got a temperament of a f***ing toddler.
13:08And was speaking out the side of his f***ing mouth to me.
13:12Knowing that you got it, bro.
13:13You got it, bro.
13:14What am I going to do in here?
13:15Beat you up?
13:15Come on, bro.
13:16Like, you know, come on, bro.
13:18You just talking crazy because you know you can talk crazy.
13:22But you feel me?
13:23F***ing don't respect me.
13:25Or I'm going to get on, bro.
13:27I'm going to get on, bro.
13:28I'm going to get on, bro.
13:29Okay.
13:30We're done.
13:31We're done.
13:32So it went on for another minute or so.
13:34He started by saying that the agent, Ryan Williams, you know, was also representing John Lynch, the general manager of
13:45the 49ers.
13:46He fired his ass.
13:48And then he texted his wife.
13:50I guess the agent reached out to his wife.
13:51Who knows why he reached out to his wife?
13:53I have no idea.
13:54But apparently you do not text my wife.
13:57And then we got into the weird, creepy predators because John Lynch went to his house.
14:04Who knows why John Lynch went to his house?
14:06Maybe it was to check on him.
14:07Maybe it was to see, is he okay?
14:09Maybe it was to, you know, have a conversation.
14:12Because he's not in the building anymore.
14:14Who knows why?
14:16Maybe he was creepy and predatory.
14:18Maybe that too.
14:20The whole thing's gotten so out of control that, look, let me net it out for you.
14:28If you're wondering or even care what I think at this point, I'm out.
14:33Like, dead out.
14:34No interest anymore.
14:36Our team does need another talented wide receiver.
14:43And my God, is he talented.
14:45He was one of my favorite players at the end of 2023.
14:48Thought that he was becoming a legitimate top 10, probably closer to five within a few years than 10.
14:56He was that good at the end of 2023.
15:00But who knows what he'll be two years after a serious injury.
15:05And the bottom line for me is, is that Brandon Iyuk, through his actions, or really, I'm sorry, through inaction,
15:13has made it obvious that he's not interested in making himself available.
15:18He talks about wanting to become available, but his actions or inaction speak to him not wanting to be made
15:28available.
15:29Instead of facing his employer, he has spent the last three weeks ripping his employer on social media.
15:37To the point in which, you know, he's probably getting to that point where it's potentially, and this may be
15:44a reach, there could be some conduct detrimental.
15:48And the 49ers could go after money that they've already paid him.
15:54Many people have reported that the 49ers are contemplating whether or not to go after some of the money they've
15:59already paid him.
16:00I don't know.
16:01That seems like a long shot.
16:03That seems like stand in line with, you know, arrest warrant on misdemeanor and anything else that's going on in
16:09his life.
16:09And it's going to take five years.
16:12But for me, it's like he's made it obvious that he's not interested in making himself available through actions that
16:20he couldn't, that he could have taken and hasn't.
16:23Instead of facing the 49ers, he rips them on social media.
16:26Instead of filing for reinstatement, which he has to do because he's on the reserved, you know, left squad list,
16:33he's spent three weeks ripping every professional relationship he's had in the last two or three years.
16:41His skin's too thin for me at this point.
16:45Like, he is way too sensitive.
16:48Now, again, some of the things that he's referring to, I don't know why the agent texted his wife.
16:55I don't know why specifically John Lynch went to his house, but I know this and everybody's got perspective and
17:04perspective is everything, man.
17:05It's everything.
17:06You know, your life experience frames your perspective.
17:11If I got paid $120 million contract over four years and my general manager wanted to talk to me, I'd
17:18probably make myself available.
17:20And if the general manager came by for whatever reason, unless he's coming by in some threatening manner, I don't
17:26know.
17:26It's possible, but I don't think my skin would be so thin as to go off, you know, several months
17:34later on that idea.
17:36I don't think that that's crazy.
17:37Some of you do.
17:38I know.
17:39Some of you, that's it.
17:40You know, you're all on board the Brandon Ayuk train because John Lynch drove to his house because his agent
17:48texted his wife.
17:49I don't have enough context to know what those efforts were about.
17:55I do know this.
17:56It's the only thing I do know at this point.
17:58He has not done what he could have done or could be doing to make himself available for football.
18:09And so I'm out.
18:11And the reason he hasn't done that, it's a combination of things.
18:15It's he's not very bright.
18:18Potentially, that's an answer.
18:20He's not stable.
18:22That's certainly an answer.
18:23Or he's just way too hypersensitive to things that have gone on, you know, getting thrown out of practice because
18:31he came out wearing the wrong uniform, whatever it was.
18:34They wanted to trade him when he got injured.
18:36That seems a little low to want to trade him, you know, from the jump.
18:41Remember, Grant Cohn, the 49ers guy, who is definitely more of an Ayuk guy, at least on social media, than
18:47he is, than he even was with us when we had him on.
18:49But, you know, he suggested that, you know, it took a while for Ayuk to even accept the offer of
18:57four years, 120.
18:59Like the 49ers are like, what's going on, man?
19:01A couple of weeks passed with the contract sitting in front of him and he didn't sign it.
19:05And clearly, he didn't want to sign it.
19:07And then they got cold feet and they tried to trade him or there was talk of trading him.
19:13But Kyle's the one that stepped in and said, no, I don't want to trade him.
19:17I want him on the team.
19:20It's a weird, strange saga that's missing a lot of context.
19:27It's missing a lot of detail for anybody to weigh in with definitive sort of opinion in terms of why
19:37you feel the way you feel.
19:39But I know one thing.
19:41Okay.
19:42He has not done what he could have done and what he could be doing to make himself available.
19:50And instead, he's gone on a social media tirade, barrage of insulting his current employer, which makes me believe this
20:00is opinion.
20:01He's too thin-skinned.
20:02And then you've got the question of, will he actually be really talented?
20:06And then you, of course, now this has to be a reveal for any adult out there.
20:12Any adult has to know, watching what he's doing, that that is a sign that it better go well or
20:21his next team's going to be on the end of all of this, whatever you want to call it.
20:28Because this time of year, it plays much bigger than it would, obviously, if we had games going on.
20:34If games are going on, this is side, side, sidebar.
20:40But I'm done.
20:42I don't, I mean, I could get into, you know, what I think is going on, but I don't know
20:48for sure.
20:49I don't think he's very bright.
20:50I think that there's clearly a hypersensitivity to anything that happens to him that's adverse that makes me believe that
21:02adversity is not something he embraces and deals with well.
21:06And then, you know, his mental stability, I don't know.
21:10I'm not a psychologist.
21:12I, perhaps he's fine mentally, but I think that he has hurt himself over these last three weeks.
21:22I think the team themselves, like our team, I think that they were more likely than not to be interested
21:30in him a month ago.
21:32I talked about this all offseason up until a couple of weeks ago.
21:37I was convinced that they were going to be very interested if he became available.
21:45Now, of course, they're having second thoughts now.
21:48If there was a high level of interest, and let's just say there was just a level of interest, which
21:53I believe is true.
21:54They're clearly having second thoughts now.
21:57You have to.
21:57I mean, if they're not having second thoughts, they're not the front office.
22:02I think they are.
22:03Now, how they handle those second thoughts, they got plenty of time because training camp doesn't start for another month.
22:11There are going to be many more videos, I'm sure, to come.
22:15I think the best advice for him, if anybody can advise him, is shut up, file for reinstatement,
22:25tell him you're showing up and planning on showing up for the beginning of training camp
22:29because you are in the best shape of your career, your knees fine, and you're ready to play football, period.
22:35I think this is also one of those situations where the people close to him are telling you, too,
22:44that there's something not right here with him.
22:47T.J. Hushmanzada, who was his mentor, his coach, personal coach and guru,
22:52remember he said some things a few months back that were not very flattering.
22:56Once again, he said some stuff over the weekend after the latest Brandon Iyuk videos.
23:04You'll hear what he said when we return.
23:07In the meantime, I do want to open up calls.
23:09Sure, why not?
23:10301-230-0980.
23:13301-230-0980.
23:16After another four or five videos and reports from over the weekend,
23:22especially for those of you that, you know, were still in, you know,
23:27on the show Friday or Thursday, whenever the last time we took calls on it was,
23:31where are you now?
23:32I'm out.
23:33And I loved the player.
23:35Loved the player.
23:37And I want another weapon offensively because I want my team to win.
23:42But this is a case of the juice definitely, at this point,
23:47doesn't look worth the squeeze.
