00:14In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
00:18Peace be with you. We acknowledge our sins.
00:21We acknowledge God's great love and compassion.
00:24You are with us in good times and in bad times.
00:27Lord, have mercy. You call us to wholeness.
00:31Christ, have mercy.
00:33You walk with us in all our challenges.
00:36Lord, have mercy.
00:37May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins
00:41and lead us into healing and life everlasting.
00:45Let us pray.
00:49Grant, O Lord, that we may always revere and love your holy name
00:52for you never deprive of your guidance those who set firm in the foundation of your love.
01:05Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the Holy Spirit, God forever and
01:12ever. Amen.
01:15A reading from the second book of the Kings.
01:21Sennacherib king of the Assyrians sent messengers to Hezekiah saying,
01:26Tell this to Hezekiah, the king of Judah.
01:29Do not let your God on whom you are relying deceive you.
01:33When he says, Jerusalem shall not fall into the power of the king of Assyria.
01:40You have learned by now what the kings of Assyria have done to every country, putting them all under the
01:48ban.
01:48Are you likely to be spared?
01:52Hezekiah took the letter from the hands of the messenger and read it.
01:56He then went up to the temple of the Lord and spread it out before the Lord.
02:02Hezekiah said this prayer in the presence of the Lord.
02:06Lord of hosts, God of Israel, enthroned on the cherubs.
02:10You alone are God of all the kingdoms of the earth.
02:14You have made heaven and earth.
02:16Give ear, Lord, and listen.
02:19Open your eyes, Lord, and see.
02:22Hear the words of Sennacherib, who has sent to insult the living God.
02:28It is true, Lord, that the kings of Assyria have exterminated all the nations.
02:33They have thrown their gods on the fire.
02:36For these were not gods, but the work of man's hands, wood and stone.
02:43And hence, they have destroyed them.
02:46But now, Lord our God, save us from his hand.
02:50I pray you, and let all the kingdoms of the earth know that you alone are God, Lord.
02:57Then Isaiah, son of Amos, went to Hezekiah.
03:02The Lord, the God of Israel, he said, says this.
03:07I have heard the prayer you have addressed to me about Sennacherib, king of Assyria.
03:12Here is the oracle that the Lord has pronounced against him.
03:18She despises you.
03:20She scorns you, the virgin daughter of Zion.
03:25She tosses her head behind you, the daughter of Jerusalem.
03:31A remnant shall go out from Jerusalem, and survivors from Mount Zion.
03:38The jealous love of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.
03:43This, then, is what the Lord says about the king of Assyria.
03:47He will not enter the city.
03:50He will let fly no arrow against it.
03:54Confront it with no shield.
03:56Show up no earthwork against it.
03:59By the road that he came on, he will return.
04:04He shall not enter the city.
04:06It is the Lord who speaks.
04:08I will protect this city and save it for my own sake and for the sake of my servant David.
04:15That same night, the angel of the Lord went out and struck down 185,000 men in the Assyrian camp.
04:24Sennacherib struck camp and left.
04:27He returned home and stayed in Nineveh.
04:31The word of the Lord.
04:33Thanks be to God.
04:35God upholds his city forever.
04:37God upholds his city forever.
04:40The Lord is great and worthy to be praised in the city of our God.
04:45His holy mountain rises in beauty, the joy of all the earth.
04:50The Lord upholds his city forever.
04:52Mount Zion, true pole of the earth, the great king city.
04:57God in the midst of his citadels has shown himself its stronghold.
05:02God upholds his city forever.
05:06O God, you ponder your love within your temple.
05:11Your praise, O God, like your name, reaches to the ends of the earth.
05:16God upholds his city forever.
05:20Alleluia, alleluia.
05:22I am the light of the world, says the Lord.
05:25Whoever follows me will have the light of life.
05:28Alleluia.
05:31The Lord be with you.
05:33A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew.
05:41Jesus said to his disciples,
05:44Do not give dogs what is holy and do not throw your pearls in front of pigs, for they may
05:50trample them and then turn on you and tear you to pieces.
05:55So always treat others as you would like them to treat you.
05:59That is the meaning of the law and the prophets.
06:03Enter by the narrow gate, since the road that leads to perdition is wide and spacious, and many take it,
06:11but it is a narrow gate and a hard road that leads to life.
06:15And only a few find it.
06:20The Gospel of the Lord.
06:23Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
06:33Treat others as you would like them to treat you.
06:37Take the narrow road.
06:40And be careful and wise of how you do things, meek as lambs and wise as serpents.
06:49How we need to be reflective people.
06:52Asking whether we are living the Gospel.
06:55And to live it not just when it's easy and popular.
06:58At all the time.
07:27Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation.
07:30For to your goodness we have this bread to offer.
07:33Which earth has given human hands have made, it will become for us the bread of life.
07:38Blessed be God forever.
07:57Blessed be God forever.
08:17Blessed be God forever.
08:22Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, our Almighty Father.
08:29May the Lord accept this sacrifice at our hands for the praise and glory of God's name, for our good
08:35and the good of God's Holy Church.
08:39Receive, O Lord, the sacrifice of conciliation and praise, and grant it, cleansed by its action.
08:45We may make offering of a heart pleasing to you through Christ our Lord.
08:51Amen.
08:52The Lord be with you.
08:54Lift up your hearts.
08:55Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
08:59It is right and just.
09:01It is truly right and just our duty and our salvation.
09:05Always and everywhere to give you thanks, Father most holy, to your beloved Son, Jesus Christ.
09:10Your word for whom you made all things, whom you sent as our Saviour and Redeemer, incarnate by the Holy
09:17Spirit and born of the Virgin.
09:19Fulfilling your will and gaining for you a holy people, he stretched out his hands as he endured his passion,
09:25so as to break the bonds of death and manifest the resurrection.
09:29And so, with the angels and all the saints, we declare your glory, as with one voice we acclaim, Holy,
09:36Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts.
09:39Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
09:41Hosanna in the highest.
09:43Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
09:46Hosanna in the highest.
09:49You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
09:53Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like the youthful, so they may
09:59become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
10:03At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion, he took bread, and giving thanks, broke it
10:11and gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my
10:18body, which will be given up for you.
10:29In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice, and once more giving thanks, he gave it
10:37to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this is the chalice of my
10:43blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be pulled down for you and for many for
10:50the forgiveness of sins.
10:51Do this in memory of me.
10:58The mystery of faith.
11:00When we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim your death, O Lord, until you come again.
11:13Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection, we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and
11:19the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you've held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
11:27Humbly we pray that, partaking of the body and blood of Christ, we may be gathered into one by the
11:33Holy Spirit.
11:35Remember, Lord, your church, spread throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of charity, together with Leo, our
11:42Pope, me, your unworthy servant, and all the clergy.
11:46Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection, and all who have
11:53died in your mercy.
11:54Welcome then into the light of your face.
11:58Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, Blessed Joseph, her spouse,
12:05with the blessed apostles and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages, we may merit to be
12:11coerced to eternal life, and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
12:21Through him and with him and in him, O God, Almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all
12:27glory and honour is yours for ever and ever. Amen.
12:32At the Saviour's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say,
12:36Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as
12:44it is in heaven.
12:45Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us,
12:53and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
12:57Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that by the help of your
13:06mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and
13:13the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
13:15For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, now and forever.
13:21Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles,
13:24Peace I leave you, my peace I give you, look not on our sins, but on the faith of your
13:29Church, and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will, who live and reign forever and ever.
13:37Amen.
13:37The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
13:44Peace be with you all.
13:46Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. Lamb of God, you take
13:54away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the
14:00world, grant us peace.
14:18Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, happy are those who are called to
14:23the supper of the Lamb. Lord, I am not worthy you should enter under my roof, but only say the
14:29word and my soul shall be healed.
14:32My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament. I love you above all things, and
14:39I desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, commonly, spiritually, into my heart,
14:48I embrace you as if you were already there, and unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be
14:55separated from you. Amen.
14:59Let us pray.
15:03Renewed and ravished by the sacred body and blood, precious blood of your Son, we ask of your mercy, Lord,
15:11that what we celebrate with constant devotion may be our true pledge of redemption. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
15:19The Lord be with you.
15:21The Lord be with you. And may the peace and the blessing of the Father and of the Son and
15:25of the Holy Spirit come upon you and remain always with you. Let us go and proclaim the gospel by
15:31our lives. Thanks be to God. And God bless your day.
