00:14In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, peace be with you.
00:19We acknowledge our sins, we acknowledge the compassion, the mercy, and the love of God.
00:25Your love is bigger than our doubts and fears. Lord, have mercy.
00:29Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.
00:34May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and lead us into healing and life everlasting.
00:41Let us pray.
00:43O God, from whom all good things come, grant that we who call upon you in our need,
00:51may, at your prompting, discern what is right, and by your guidance do it,
00:58through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
01:04God, forever and ever. Amen.
01:10A reading from the first book of the Kings.
01:12The stream in the place where Elijah lay, hidden, dried up, for the country had no rain.
01:20And then the word of the Lord came to Elijah,
01:23Up and go to Zarephath, a Sidonian town, and stay there.
01:32I have ordered a widow there to give you food.
01:35So he went off to Sidon.
01:39And when he reached the city gate, there was a widow gathering sticks.
01:44Addressing her, he said,
01:46Please bring a little water in a vessel for me to drink.
01:50She was setting off to bring it when he called after her.
01:54Please, he said, bring me a scrap of bread in your hand.
01:59As the Lord your God lives, she replied,
02:03I have no baked bread, but only a handful of meal in a jar,
02:07and a little oil in a jug.
02:09I am just gathering a stick or two to go and prepare for myself and my son to eat,
02:16and then we shall die.
02:18But Elijah said to her,
02:20Do not be afraid.
02:22Go and do as you have said.
02:24But first make a scone of it for me,
02:27and bring it to me,
02:29and then make some for yourself and for your son.
02:32For thus the Lord speaks,
02:35the God of Israel.
02:36Jar of meal shall not be spent.
02:39Jug of oil shall not be emptied.
02:42Before the day when the Lord sends rain on the face of the earth.
02:47The woman went and did as Elijah told her,
02:50and they ate the food,
02:52she herself and her son.
02:54The jar of meal was not spent,
02:57not the jug of oil emptied,
02:59just as the Lord had foretold through Elijah.
03:03The word of the Lord.
03:05Thanks be to God.
03:07Lord, let your face shine on us.
03:10Lord, let your face shine on us.
03:13When I call, answer me, O God of justice.
03:16From anguish you release me.
03:18Have mercy and hear me.
03:20O men, how long will your hearts be closed?
03:22Will your love what is futile,
03:25level up what is futile,
03:26and seek what is false?
03:28Lord, let your face shine on us.
03:31It is the Lord who grants favors to those whom he loves.
03:35The Lord hears me when I call him.
03:37Fear him, do not sin.
03:39Ponder on your bed and be still.
03:42Lord, let your face shine on us.
03:45What can bring us happiness, many say?
03:48Lift up the light of your face on us, O Lord.
03:51You have put into my heart a greater joy
03:54than they have from abundance of corn and new wine.
03:58Lord, let your face shine on us.
04:02Alleluia, alleluia.
04:03Let your light shine before all
04:05that they may see your good works
04:08and glorify your Father.
04:10Alleluia.
04:11The Lord be with you.
04:13A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew.
04:17Glory to you, O Lord.
04:19Jesus said to his disciples,
04:21You are the salt of the earth,
04:24but if salt becomes tasteless,
04:26what can make it salty again?
04:28It is good for nothing
04:29and can only be thrown out
04:31to be trampled underfoot by people.
04:34You are the light of the world.
04:36A city built on a hilltop cannot be hidden.
04:39No one lights a lamp to put it under a tub.
04:42They put it on the lampstand
04:43where it shines for everyone in the house.
04:45In the same way,
04:47your light must shine in the sight of all,
04:50so that seeing your good works,
04:53they may give the praise to your Father in heaven.
04:57The Gospel of the Lord.
05:00Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
05:04A reminder to us
05:06that we are called to preserve goodness
05:09and virtue
05:11with the grace of God
05:13despite attempts to dilute
05:15many of these things
05:16in the society that we live in
05:18and to live like as if there was
05:20hardly any moral guidance or compass.
05:23So we are called to be that.
05:25And we are called to be living reminders
05:27of hope and life.
05:29People who live in the light of the resurrection,
05:32who are not crushed by the challenges of life,
05:35but live in faith, hope, and love.
05:47Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
05:49for to your goodness we have this bread to offer,
05:52which earth has given human hands have made.
05:54It will become for us the bread of life.
06:15Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
06:17for to your goodness we have this wine to offer,
06:19fruit of divine work of human hands.
06:21It will become a spiritual dream.
06:23Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
06:34let us pray, brothers and sisters,
06:36that my sacrifice and yours
06:38may be acceptable to God,
06:40our Almighty Father.
06:41May the Lord accept the sacrifice of your hands
06:44for the glory of God's name,
06:46for our good and the good of God's holy church.
06:48Look kindly upon our service,
06:50so, Lord, we pray that what we offer
06:52may be an acceptable oblation to you
06:55and lead us to grow in charity
06:58through Christ our Lord.
07:00Amen.
07:01The Lord be with you.
07:03And with your spirit.
07:04Lift up your hearts.
07:05Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
07:10It is truly right and just,
07:11our duty and our salvation,
07:13always and everywhere to give you thanks,
07:16Father most holy,
07:17to your beloved Son, Jesus Christ,
07:20your word, whom you made all things,
07:22whom you sent as our Saviour and Redeemer,
07:25incarnate by the Holy Spirit
07:26and born of the Virgin.
07:29Fulfilling your will
07:30and gaining for you a holy people,
07:32he stretched out his hands
07:34as he endured his passion
07:36so as to break the bonds of death
07:38and manifest the resurrection.
07:41And so, with the angels and all the saints,
07:43we declare your glory
07:44as with one voice we acclaim,
07:47Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of hosts,
07:51heaven and earth are full of your glory.
07:55Hosanna in the highest.
07:57Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
08:00Hosanna in the highest.
08:02You are indeed holy, O Lord,
08:04the fount of all holiness.
08:06Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray,
08:09by sending down your Spirit upon them
08:11like the new form,
08:12so they may become for us
08:14the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
08:17At the time he was betrayed
08:19and entered willingly into his passion,
08:22he took bread
08:23and giving thanks broke it
08:25and gave it to his disciples saying,
08:28Take this, all of you,
08:29and eat of it,
08:30for this is my body
08:32which will be given up for you.
08:39In a similar way,
08:41when supper was ended,
08:42he took the chalice
08:43and once more giving thanks,
08:46he gave it to his disciples saying,
08:49Take this, all of you,
08:50and drink from it,
08:51for this is the chalice of my blood,
08:54the blood of the new
08:56and eternal covenant
08:57which will be pulled out for you
09:00and for many
09:01for the forgiveness of sins.
09:03Do this in memory of me.
09:12The mystery of faith,
09:15we proclaim your death, O Lord,
09:17and profess your resurrection
09:19until you come again.
09:26Therefore, as we celebrate
09:28the memorial of his death
09:29and resurrection,
09:31we offer you, Lord,
09:32the bread of life
09:33and the chalice of salvation,
09:36giving thanks
09:36that you've held us worthy
09:38to be in your presence
09:40and minister to you.
09:42Humbly we pray
09:43that partaking of the body
09:45and blood of Christ,
09:46we may be gathered into one
09:47by the Holy Spirit.
09:49Remember, Lord,
09:50your church spread
09:51throughout the world
09:52and bring her
09:53to the fullness of charity
09:55together with Leo,
09:56our Pope,
09:58me, your unworthy servant
09:59and all the clergy.
10:02Remember also
10:03our brothers and sisters
10:05who have fallen asleep
10:06in the hope
10:06of the resurrection.
10:10And all who have died
10:12in your mercy,
10:13welcome them
10:14into the light
10:15of your face.
10:18Have mercy on us all,
10:20we pray,
10:22that with the blessed
10:23Virgin Mary,
10:24Mother of God,
10:24blessed Joseph,
10:25her spouse,
10:26with the blessed apostles
10:28and all the saints
10:29who have pleased you
10:30throughout the ages,
10:31we may merit to be,
10:33coerced to eternal life
10:34and may praise
10:35and glorify you
10:36through your Son,
10:38Jesus Christ.
10:42Through him
10:43and with him
10:43and in him,
10:44O God,
10:45Almighty Father,
10:46in the unity
10:47of the Holy Spirit,
10:48all glory and honour
10:49is yours
10:50for ever and ever.
10:52Amen.
10:54In the Saviour's command
10:55and form
10:56by divine teaching,
10:57we dare to say,
10:59Our Father,
11:00who art in heaven,
11:01hallowed be thy name,
11:03thy kingdom come,
11:05thy will be done
11:06on earth
11:06as it is in heaven.
11:08Give us this day
11:09our daily bread
11:10and forgive us
11:12our trespasses
11:13as we forgive those
11:15who trespass against us
11:17and lead us
11:18not into temptation,
11:19but deliver us
11:20from evil.
11:22Deliver us,
11:23Lord,
11:23we pray,
11:23from every evil.
11:25Graciously grant peace
11:26in our days
11:27that by the help
11:28of your mercy
11:29we may be always
11:30free from sin
11:31and safe from all distress
11:32as we await
11:34your blessed hope
11:35and the coming
11:36of our Saviour,
11:37Jesus Christ.
11:40Lord Jesus Christ,
11:42we said to your apostles,
11:43peace I leave you,
11:44my peace I give you.
11:46Look not on our sins,
11:47but on the faith
11:48of your church
11:49and graciously grant
11:50her peace and unity
11:51in accordance
11:52with your will
11:53who live and reign
11:54forever and ever.
11:56The peace of our Lord
11:57Jesus Christ
11:58be with you always.
12:00Let us offer each other
12:01a sign of peace.
12:03Peace be with you all.
12:06Lamb of God,
12:07you take away
12:08the sins of the world.
12:10Have mercy on us.
12:12Lamb of God,
12:13you take away
12:14the sins of the world.
12:15Have mercy on us.
12:17Lamb of God,
12:18you take away
12:19the sins of the world.
12:21Grant us peace.
12:37Behold the Lamb of God
12:38who takes away
12:39the sins of the world.
12:40Happy are those
12:41who are called
12:42to the supper
12:42of the Lamb.
12:43Lord,
12:44I am not worthy
12:46that you should enter
12:47under my roof,
12:48but only say the word
12:49and my soul
12:50shall be healed.
12:53My Jesus,
12:54I believe
12:54that you are present
12:55in the most
12:56blessed sacrament.
12:57I love you
12:58above all things
12:59and I desire
13:00to receive you
13:01into my soul.
13:02Since I cannot

13:07into my heart,
13:08I embrace you
13:09as if you were
13:10already there
13:11and unite myself

13:15to be separated
13:16from you.

13:30and lead us
13:31to what is right.
13:32Through Christ our Lord,
13:33Amen.
13:34Lord be with you.
13:36And may the peace
13:37and the blessing
13:37of the Father

13:44and give glory to God
13:45and proclaim
13:46the gospel
13:47by our lives.
13:49Thanks be to God.
13:50God bless your day.
