00:14In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
00:20the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
00:23And we have beautiful readings today reminding us of who Jesus Christ is for us
00:30and how Jesus Christ established the church on Peter and gave him the keys.
00:36As we come as God's family, the church that Jesus founded,
00:39we remember we're a church of sinners, for sinners, run by sinners.
00:43And the only requirement to be in Jesus' church is to be a sinner in need of Jesus.
00:49So let's open our hearts now and ask Jesus to come in and forgive us.
00:54I confess to Almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters,
00:59that I have greatly sinned in my thoughts and in my words,
01:03in what I have done and what I have failed to do,
01:06through my fall, through my fall, through my most grievous fall.
01:11Therefore I ask, Blessed Mary, Ever-Virgin, all the angels and saints,
01:16and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me, the Lord our God.
01:21May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life.
01:27Amen.
01:28Lord, have mercy.
01:29Lord, have mercy.
01:31Christ, have mercy.
01:32Christ, have mercy.
01:33Lord, have mercy.
01:35Lord, have mercy.
01:37Glory to God in the highest, and on earth these two people of good will.
01:42Lord, we praise you, we bless you, we adore you, we glorify you, we give you thanks for your great
01:50glory.
01:50Lord God, Heavenly King, O God Almighty Father.
01:55Lord Jesus Christ, Holy Begotten Son.
01:59Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father.
02:02Father, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.
02:07You take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer.
02:11You are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us.
02:16For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ.
02:24With the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father.
02:27Amen.
02:28Amen.
02:31O God, who caused the minds of the faithful to unite in a single purpose,
02:36grant your people to love what you command, and to desire what you promise,
02:40that amid the uncertainties of this world, our hearts may be fixed on that place,
02:45where true gladness is found, through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
02:49who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.
02:55Amen.
02:57A reading from the book of the prophet Isaiah.
03:03Thus says the Lord to Shebna, master of the palace,
03:09I will thrust you from your office and pull you down from your station.
03:16On that day, I will summon my servant Elikam, son of Hiliah.
03:23I will clothe him with your robe, and gird him with your sash, and give over to him your authority.
03:33He shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah.
03:40I will place the key of the house of David on Eliakim's shoulder.
03:47When he opens, no one shall shut.
03:51When he shuts, no one shall open.
03:55I will fix him like a peg in a sure spot, to be a place of honor for his family.
04:02The word of the Lord.
04:06Thanks be to God.
04:10Lord, your love is eternal.
04:16Do not forsake the work of your hands.
04:40I will give thanks to you, O Lord, with all my heart.
04:46For you have heard the words of my mouth.
04:53In the presence of the angels, I will sing your praise.
05:00I will worship at your holy temple.
05:07Lord, your love is eternal.
05:12Lord, do not forsake the work of your hands.
05:22I will give thanks to you, your name, because of your kindness and your truth.
05:32When I called your name, you answered me.
05:37You built up strength within me.
05:45Lord, your love is eternal.
05:52Do not forsake the work of your hands.
06:00The Lord is exalted, yet the lowly he sees.
06:06And the proud he knows from afar.
06:12Your kindness, O Lord, endures forever.
06:20Forsake not the work of your hands.
06:26Lord, your love is eternal.
06:31Do not forsake the work of your hands.
06:44A reading from the letter of St. Paul to the Romans.
06:50O, that the depths and riches and wisdom and knowledge of God.
06:57How inscrutable are his judgments, and how unsearchable his ways.
07:04For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor, or who has given the
07:12Lord anything, that he may be repaid?
07:17For from him and through him and through him and for him are all things.
07:23To him be glory forever.
07:27Amen.
07:29The word of the Lord.
07:31Thanks be to God.
07:35Alleluia.
07:41Alleluia, Alleluia
07:49Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia
07:59You are Peter
08:01And upon this rock
08:05I will build my church
08:08And the gates of the netherworld
08:14Shall not prevail against it
08:25Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia
08:38The Lord be with you
08:39And with your spirit
08:41A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew
08:44Glory to you, Lord
08:49Jesus went into the region of Caesarea Philippi
08:53And he asked his disciples
08:55Who do people say that the Son of Man is?
08:59They replied
09:00Some say John the Baptist
09:02Others Elijah
09:04Still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets
09:08He said to them
09:09But who do you say that I am?
09:14Simon Peter said in reply
09:16You are the Christ
09:18The Son of the living God
09:21Jesus said to him in reply
09:23Blessed are you
09:25Simon son of Jonah
09:26For flesh and blood did not reveal this to you
09:30But my heavenly Father
09:32And so I say to you
09:34You are Peter
09:35And upon this rock
09:37I will build my church
09:39And the gates of the netherworld
09:41Shall not prevail against it
09:43I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven
09:46Whatever you bind on earth
09:48Shall be bound in heaven
09:50And whatever you loose on earth
09:52Shall be loosed in heaven
09:54Then he strictly ordered his disciples
09:57To tell no one
09:58That he was the Christ

15:01Pray my brothers and sisters
15:03That my sacrifice
15:04And yours
15:05May be acceptable
15:05To God
15:06Our almighty Father
15:07May the Lord
15:08Accept the sacrifice
15:10At your hands
15:11For the praise
15:12And glory of his name

15:36To the Lord our God
15:37It is right and just
15:39It is truly right and just
15:40Our duty and our salvation
15:42Always and everywhere
15:43To give you thanks
15:44Lord, Holy, Father, Almighty
15:46And eternal God
15:47Through Christ our Lord
15:48For he is the true
15:49And eternal priest
15:50Who instituted the pattern
15:52Of an everlasting sacrifice
15:53And was the first
15:55To offer himself
15:55As a saving victim
15:56Commanding us
15:57To make this offering
15:58As his memorial
15:59As we eat his flesh
16:01That was sacrificed
16:02For us we're made strong
16:03And as we drink his blood
16:04That was poured out
16:05For us we're washed clean
16:06And so with the angels
16:08And archangels
16:09With thrones and dominions
16:10And with all the hosts
16:11And powers of heaven
16:12We sing the hymn
16:13Of your glory
16:14As without end
16:16We acclaim
16:21Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy Holy Tiani
16:29Let them know, full of your glory, Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest.
16:57Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest, Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest.
17:27Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest.
17:45By sending down your Spirit upon them like they do fall, so that they may become for us the body
17:51and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
17:54At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion.
17:57He took bread and giving thanks broke it and gave it to his disciples saying.
18:03Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body, which will be given up for
18:10you.
18:17In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice, and once more giving thanks,
18:22he gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, drink from it,
18:27for this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
18:32which will be poured out for you and for many, for the forgiveness of sins.
18:38Do this in memory of me.
18:46The Mystery of Faith
18:55We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection
19:06Until you come again
19:17We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection
19:30Until you come again
19:38Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
19:41we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
19:44giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
19:48Humbly we pray that, partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
19:52we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
19:55Remember, Lord, your church, spread throughout the world,
19:57and bring her to the fullness of charity,
19:59together with Leo, our Pope,
20:01Lewis, our Bishop,
20:02and all your people.
20:04Remember also our brothers and sisters
20:06who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
20:09and all who have died in your mercy.
20:11Welcome them into the light of your face.
20:13Have mercy on us all, we pray,
20:15that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
20:18Blessed Joseph, her spouse,
20:20with the blessed apostles,
20:21and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages,
20:24we may merit to be coheirs to eternal life,
20:27and may praise and glorify you
20:29through your Son, Jesus Christ.
20:33Through him and with him and in him,
20:35O God Almighty Father,
20:37in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
20:39all glory and honor is yours forever and ever.
20:51Amen, amen, amen, amen, amen.
21:12There are about 1.4 billion Catholics in the world
21:16where God's family were brothers and sisters.
21:19So now let us go to God together.
21:21That's what Catholic means.
21:22Everybody, universal.
21:24In the prayers Jesus gave us.
21:27Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
21:32Thy truth and the power, thy will be done.
21:35On earth as it is in heaven.
21:37Give us this day our daily bread.
21:40And forgive us our trespasses.
21:43As we forgive those who trespass against us.
21:46And lead us not into temptation.
21:49But deliver us from evil.
21:51Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil.
21:53Graciously grant peace in our days.
21:55That by the help of your mercy,
21:56we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress.
21:59As we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
22:05For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.
22:08Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles,
22:11Peace I leave you, my peace I give you.
22:13Look not on our sins, but on the faith of your church.
22:16And graciously grant her peace and unity,
22:19in accordance with your will,
22:21who live and reign forever and ever.
22:23Amen.
22:24Peace of the Lord be with you always.
22:27And with your spirit.
22:29Now let us share that love with everyone around us.
22:31Peace.
23:02Have mercy on us.
23:09Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
23:20Have mercy on us.
23:26Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
23:39Grant us, grant us peace.
23:50Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world.
23:55Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.
23:58Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall
24:04be healed.
24:06May the body and blood of Christ keep us safe for eternal life.
24:10My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
24:15I love you above all things and I desire to receive you into my soul.
24:19Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, commonly, spiritually into my heart,
24:25I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you.
24:30Never permit me to be separated from you.
24:34Amen.
24:35Bow your heads and pray in silence.
24:40Complete within us, O Lord, we pray, the healing work of your mercy.
24:44And graciously perfect and sustain us, so that in all things we may please you.
24:49Through Christ our Lord.
24:51Amen.
24:51Lord, be with you.
24:53And may Almighty God bless you, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
24:58Amen.
24:59Mass has ended.
25:01Go forth and pray in the love of God with everyone you meet.
25:04Thanks be to God.
25:06God bless you, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
