00:00I don't know how anybody's gonna be able to do any window shopping when you've got this wacko stocking.
00:04Here's your look at Trick-or-Treat Studios' Damian Leon's Terrifier 2 Costume Shop Art the Clown.
00:21Trick-or-Treat Studios is proud to present the officially licensed Terrifier 2 Costume Shop Art the Clown 5-inch
00:27action figure.
00:28Costume Shop Art the Clown comes complete with blowtorch, horn, bleach, and salt accessories.
00:32Come on, the clown can't be all that bad. He brought you your bag.
00:35If you want to add this one not to your bag, but to your cart, just know that Terrifier 2
00:39Costume Shop Art the Clown is available right now on Trick-or-Treat Studios' site.
00:43They've actually, in fact, marked it down right now. It was $29.99. Now it's $23.70.
00:49Big thank you to the folks over at TOTS that did provide this sample.
00:52For how tall, though, Art the Clown's gonna be, let's take now the tape measure and figure that out.
00:56According to what I'm reading here, and I'm hoping I'm reading this right,
01:00you're looking at Costume Shop Art the Clown standing 5 inches in height, or about 12 1⁄2 centimeters tall.
01:06I'm starting to get quite the collection of killer clowns.
01:08Let's bring in other examples that we've gotten of Art the Clown from Trick-or-Treat Studios' site.
01:12On the left here, the only one that we have right now, here's blood-soaked Art the Clown.
01:17Now, of course, recently, we've also looked here on the channel,
01:19here's also what he looks like with the eye-popping Art the Clown, too.
01:22More, I'm sure, to the delight of Art, less to the delight of the people he's using it on.
01:25The figure has quite a lot of accessories.
01:27The less harmful, obviously, would be of that his honking horn.
01:31Wow, wow, wow.
01:32It doesn't actually honk.
01:33It's molded here all in plastic.
01:35Looks like they've actually gone and maybe painted the end here in black,
01:38and left all the rest of it cast in silver plastic.
01:41It can be held in his hand.
01:43In fact, actually, all the accessories can be held in his hand.
01:45The figure does also come in clear with his blowtorch.
01:48This normally would not be where you'd want to be putting your hand near a blowtorch.
01:51This would be the safer side.
01:53This would also be, of course, the side that's going to attach onto Art's hands.
01:56Actually, all of the accessories have one thing in common.
01:59I guess, really, other than the horn, they all have handles to them.
02:02This is more believable that a blowtorch would obviously have a handle.
02:05This would be the easiest way to hold a blowtorch,
02:07says the guy who's never held a blowtorch his entire life.
02:10I can tell you, though, I like the detailing that they've done here,
02:13where it's darker on the end, and it becomes progressively lighter as it gets to the end,
02:18the part that actually blows up the flame.
02:20This, again, can be held in his hands.
02:22He benefits from having at least gripping hands,
02:24so he actually can wield more than one accessory at one time.
02:27The blowtorch might be the only thing that he has a harder time to hold.
02:31I've actually bounced back and forth the idea of maybe having it in this hand.
02:34This hand, one thing that almost seems to be the problem with him
02:39is the way that they've designed his fingers.
02:42He feels like he almost never really holds the blowtorch properly,
02:45like it almost just sits on the end.
02:48And in fact, one of the other issues, though, with the blowtorch,
02:50there we go, maybe I just wasn't putting it properly in him,
02:53is it does make the figure quite a lot more front-heavy.
02:56So you have to kind of arch him back just a little bit,
02:58just for him to actually be able to stand properly.
03:00You can also, of course, bend the elbow, too.
03:02That might help just to compensate for the fact
03:04he has this extra weight on the front of his body.
03:07He has, well, whatever he's blowtorching,
03:09he does also come included with a bottle of bleach.
03:13Now, having had experience with bleach, barely,
03:15I can tell you, though, this is something
03:17that you may not want to have near your body.
03:18It's quite corrosive.
03:20Anybody want to take the time to explain that to Art the Clown?
03:23Oh, he already knows it's corrosive.
03:26Okay.
03:27Salt's probably a bad idea, too.
03:28Oh, he knows about the salt also.
03:30He comes with a bottle of bleach.
03:31The bleach itself is nicely detailed.
03:34I'm sure there would be a warning label on here.
03:36I'm not sure, though, if I'm able to pick this up with my own eyes.
03:39Maybe the eye of the camera will be able to pick it up a little clearer.
03:42Of course, it does also have a handle that can also,
03:45excuse me for a second,
03:46I'm just going to take the blowtorch out of your hand.
03:48You can also take the bleach.
03:50The bleach has a small handle.
03:52Yet, though, you can still fit this in his hand.
03:55Just like that.
03:56I'm sure he probably would be a good spokesperson for this bleach company.
04:00Although, again, you may want to use it to make your clothes whiter,
04:03not people's skin.
04:05I'm just going to probably do a lot worse than just making their skin whiter.
04:09The figure finally, though, does,
04:10if I just give him a stand here for a second,
04:12a tiny little container of salt.
04:16And I may argue the point, though,
04:17that the salt may not actually have in real life a handle on the side
04:20because of that, it actually looks like a salt mug.
04:23But that would be probably the easiest way
04:25for him to actually hold properly the salt.
04:28Again, if you have a wound, don't get salt anywhere.
04:31Oh, he already knows that.
04:33Yeah, that's actually the ongoing punchline of that death.
04:36We can go ahead again and take the salt and fit that also into his hand.
04:40Again, the salt is probably the least realistic because, again,
04:43I don't think salt, unless the scene happens to have a handled salt,
04:47I think most companies generally are just going to be making out of a cardboard tube.
04:51But, of course, displaying him,
04:53I would likely probably go with maybe the bleach and the salt
04:55and maybe, if anything, leave the blowtorch aside.
04:58The benefit, at least, though, of these accessories
05:00is that you can also put them with other Art the Clowns, too.
05:04So, like, for example, if I can actually get this into his hand,
05:07the blood-soaked Art the Clown, not well, mind you, though,
05:10does also have the means to hold the blowtorch.
05:12And if I could just reach off to the side here as well,
05:15if you happen to also have the eye-popping Art the Clown,
05:18you can also hold those accessories, too.
05:20So, although the blowtorch is going to be a heavier weapon for him to wield,
05:26all three figures actually have the means to hold them.
05:28Although, again, the blowtorch might be the heaviest.
05:31Putting those all to the side, let's actually take...
05:33I don't feel very safe, really, having him with bleach and salt in his hands.
05:37Let's just move those to the side for a second.
05:39Let's actually get a closer look at Art the Clown.
05:42Walking through, it almost seems to be a spirit Halloween.
05:45He tries on several glasses, of course, as he drops off the girl's back.
05:48He stands just off in the distance.
05:50Puts on, I think, like three or four different sunglasses.
05:53He starts with these.
05:54Probably the most recognizable when it comes to Art the Clown merchandise.
06:00Now, with Trick or Treat Studios having already successfully done a six-scale version of Art the Clown,
06:05I hope they actually go back and revisit that figure again.
06:07Give him some additional accessories.
06:09Give him also, as well, these flower glasses.
06:11I think that would be a fun release.
06:13He then also tries on kind of these flaming red glasses.
06:17And he also comes...
06:18He also does the...
06:19Puts on the eye-bulging glasses as well, where he kind of just nods his head up and down.
06:23But I think probably these would be the glasses that most people would recognize right away with the killer character.
06:29Of course, he does have a little hat there on the top of his head.
06:31It's not removable.
06:32Nice sculpting overall for the figure's face.
06:34The glasses don't look like they're removable.
06:37I probably would not also say entertain any idea of trying to take them off.
06:40I think what you'd probably end up seeing underneath...
06:42Maybe there would be a pair of eyes, but I probably don't think that they'd be painted.
06:46Teeth look gnarly.
06:47Of course, he's got a little dot there on the end of his nose.
06:50Outfit-wise, again, like in size-wise, he's about the same size as eye-popping Art the Clown.
06:55But I think actually, though, if you bring in the blood-soaked Art the Clown,
06:59I think he's probably using most of the mold from that one.
07:02The arms, granted, though, are going to be a little bit different.
07:04This one has a gestured hand and also a gripping hand.
07:08This one does, again, benefit from having gripping hands on both his sides.
07:12Colors look, again, good for Art.
07:13Of course, you've got the black, you've got the white, and he's got supposed Billy.
07:16Now, he doesn't have a gimmick, unlike eye-popping Art the Clown that did have the bulging eye,
07:21which, of course, if you just press the back of the brain...
07:23Bleh! Bleh! Bleh!
07:27Gross-looking bulging eye.
07:28Anyway, this figure doesn't seem to have any gimmick or anything like that.
07:32What he does have, though, is still has posability,
07:34and he's got a whole gnarly set of accessories as well.
07:38For Art's articulation, yeah, his head's going to rotate back and forth.
07:42It doesn't really go all the way around.
07:44I don't think he'd really enjoy that anyways.
07:46The arms can also rotate all the way around as well.
07:49He does have single hinges only in the elbows.
07:52Very limited articulation on these figures,
07:53but the idea, really, is that they're supposed to look like retro toys.
07:57And, again, his legs move forward and back, too.
07:59He doesn't have pebbles on the bottom of his feet.
08:01I don't think he necessarily needs them either.
08:03He's just a really fun Art the Clown.
08:05Now, they've done also, of course, the other Terrifier 2 figures,
08:08which I'd like to get my hands on at some point.
08:11But the thing I like about this line is that they're pretty affordable, too.
08:14Like, they've just recently marked these down.
08:16So, at one point, they were $29.99, closer to $30.
08:20Now, they sit under $25, at least at the time of doing this review.
08:24Again, at some point, I would like to also pick up the other figures as well,
08:26like the Pale Girl and also Angel Warrior Sienna.
08:29I'd love to get my hands on those also, as well.
08:31Might be also a good time, too, that Trick-or-Treat Studios has marked the price down.
08:34If you've kind of been on the fence, not sure, really,
08:37if I wanted to, if you yourself wanted to invest in getting these.
08:40With the price now being marked down a little bit lower,
08:42it might be the nudge that you need to twist your rubber arm
08:45to start scooping these up all now.
08:48I maybe feel a little bad now getting your hopes up talking about savings.
08:52Actually, I think, though, the savings was linked to a Father's Day sale
08:55that they currently had going on over the weekend,
08:57where you could save 21% on basically all the items that they had listed on their site.
09:02He still, though, will sell for $29.99, so he's going to be a little less than $30.
09:07Of course, they also have stocked the other remaining three Terrifier 2 figures,
09:11one of which we've already had a look at, of course,
09:13eye-popping Art the Clown.
09:14Still, again, would like to get my hands on the Pale Girl and, of course, Sienna Shaw.
09:18These are fun little figures.
09:19Obviously, if you've grown up, maybe not necessarily with Art the Clown,
09:23but if you're my age, for example, you probably are quite familiar with
09:26five-point articulated simple retro figures,
09:29which, again, I think really Trick or Treat Studios is knocking it out of the park with,
09:32whether it is the Terrifier 2 stuff.
09:34Some of us recently looked at also Day of the Dead.
09:37Fun time, though, if you are into collecting retro figures.
09:40Tots may have you set when it comes to a new startup collection.
09:44Big thank you again to the folks over at Trick or Treat Studios
09:46that did provide this sample.
09:47Today, we were having a look at the Terrifier 2 costume shop, Art the Clown.
09:50He really wasn't marked down.
09:52He was marked down only to Father's Day.
09:54The last father you'd really want to have in your life, I would imagine, would be Art the Clown.
09:58He would teach you all about cleanliness,
10:00but the cleanliness would come with the price.
10:02You really don't want to be anywhere near bleach.
10:04It could be quite corrosive.
10:06If you guys did enjoy this video, you can do it as a solid throw to a like.
10:08You guys want to stick around for more so?
10:10I do hope so.
10:11We're going to have some more videos coming away.
10:12In fact, not to...
10:14I will actually get your hopes up.
10:15We will also be looking at some more Trick or Treat Studios stuff.
10:18So that's the kind of stuff you'd like to see more.
10:20I will say there is going to be more coming your way this week.
10:24So as always, guys, thanks for watching.
10:26See you guys next time.
