00:04Here's a look at the Trick-or-Treat Studios' Damian Leon's Terrifier Giant Size Art the Clown.

00:54In a second, we'll be bringing in slightly smaller versions of Art the Clown,
00:57but in the meantime, though, let's take the tape measure and see how tall the figure's going to stand.
01:01They say on their site that he's listed as 12 inches.
01:04Technically, if you really count the little hat that he has on his head,
01:07then yes, he is 12 inches in height,
01:10working out to be a figure that's about 30 centimeters tall.
01:13It starts to look funny when you bring in his retro figures because they look like mini-massacring minions.
01:17The blood-soaked here on the left, one that has an eye-popping feature,
01:21and one that visited the costume shop.
01:23Of course, I've got to bring in the packaging for this as well,
01:25which is just as cool as the figure that sits inside of it.
01:27On the top, Damien Leon's Terrifier, 12-inch tall.
01:30It looks like a retro figure box,
01:32complete with the fact that even on the side of the box there's Art the Clown,
01:35but on the back you've actually got a kid.
01:37That kid looks like he's got problems.
01:40I don't know what parent really is going to be getting in Art the Clown.
01:43What am I talking about?
01:44I would probably get my kid in Art the Clown.
01:45Not just yet.
01:46She's a little too young.
01:47But there's also as well, you can collect the whole terrifying art collection,
01:50some of which we've already had a look at, like the ones here on the top.
01:53Still got to get my hands on the ones on the bottom, though.
01:55I would likely think that when it comes to displaying this guy on the shelf,
01:58I might actually put him back in the box
02:00because I think the way that he's displayed in the box is just too cool.
02:03You know what's really cool as well?
02:05Art the Clown does come with what looks to be an already used hacksaw.
02:10I feel pretty confident doing this,
02:12just with the way that the teeth are designed and sculpted on the bottom.
02:15They're not actually sharp.
02:16I could do this really until the cows come home.
02:18I think if anything, I probably would just start to develop a rash.
02:20But you're not going to be cutting through any fingers.
02:23A Far Cry, what actually does remind me of this,
02:25is the old tool sets that we got from the 80s and 70s,
02:29where actually they were real working tools.
02:31I think even then, though, like a hacksaw probably didn't have a sharp enough blade.
02:34But the fact that they sold that to kids, chemistry stats, and other things as well.
02:38We would never sell this to kids nowadays.
02:40This can be held in his hand.
02:42The figure's way that the hands are designed are actually better suited
02:45for him to hold a hacksaw on this side of the figure's body.
02:48It's not to say, though, that you can't get it into this hand,
02:50but it's kind of going to look like he's holding it
02:52like it just fell in like a cat's litter box.
02:56I think, though, again, better suited to have this in the other hand.
02:59And when you actually go to put it in his other hand,
03:02he has actually, the way that the finger is designed right here,
03:05that it fits just perfectly around the handle.
03:08Although you kind of have to twist it just a little bit.
03:10And it holds it well.
03:12Certainly not going to be going anywhere.
03:13You'd hate to have this guy be butterfingers when he's trying to cut through a job.
03:16Does look good, though.
03:18As you can see, again, like there's blood all along the teeth,
03:20all along the front of the hacksaw.
03:22Just a little splattering here and there.
03:24He's got a little bit of that all over his gloves as well.
03:27Part of me does wish, though,
03:28the figure could have come into with some other accessory
03:30just by the fact he does also have this.
03:33I might see if maybe I can get myself
03:34like a small enough little garbage bag.
03:36Do they make tiny little garbage bags
03:39to at least fit 12-inch tall figures?
03:41I'm sure there probably is.
03:43Get myself like a little garbage bag
03:44just so he can have something carry around with his other hand.
03:46The other hand, by the way, does still have
03:49psst, psst, that's not cranberry sauce,
03:52splattered blood all across the front of that.
03:54There's actually blood all down below here as well,
03:56all along the bottoms of his legs.
03:57Take the hacksaw out of his hand.
03:59I just don't feel easy with him in it with it in his hand.
04:01Let's get a closer look, though,
04:03at 12-inch tall retro Art the Clown.
04:06For what he really is,
04:08he's actually a cool-looking figure.
04:09I know I've said cool a couple of times in this review.
04:11The thing I really like about the figure is the face.
04:14Now, while still being a simplified face,
04:17maybe versus like the 12-inch tall,
04:18like the six-scale figure,
04:20six-scale figure of Art the Clown
04:22that Trick or Treat Studios has also done as well,
04:24did a review of him.
04:25I think like this one definitely is more catered
04:28towards the collectors that like to have their retro figures,
04:30but they'd like to also have them in a larger size.
04:33As again, the example I can bring in right now,
04:35here's a regular Art the Clown retro figure.
04:38The face really doesn't do that much different.
04:41The pupils are a little bit smaller
04:43than like this one right here,
04:44but I think like the face is still really good on this one.
04:47He has limited limitations
04:49when it certainly comes to his posability.
04:50You're only really going to be getting in the head,
04:52the arms, and the lower legs.
04:54The legs are the kind of chunky variety
04:56that we would be used to seeing
04:58in the 70s and 80s toys,
05:00allotting for a little bit of space on the top,
05:02so at least when you do move the legs,
05:03you can move them out completely.
05:05Now, again, he's got some blood there down below here as well.
05:07These large clown shoes look fantastic.
05:11You know, speaking of fantastic,
05:13I would love to see if there's a way
05:14that I can get this guy in a running pose.
05:16Now, obviously, I can't just do that with Will alone.
05:19There's no way, really,
05:20the figure's going to be able to balance,
05:21but if I could find maybe myself
05:23like a clear block or something
05:24I could put underneath in between his legs,
05:26I would really love to see
05:28an arc of the clown like this on the shelf,
05:30kind of more in a running pose.
05:31It's something, though,
05:32that you can really pull off,
05:34wide at stance at least,
05:35but again, you have to put something underneath
05:37or in between his legs
05:38just to keep him a little bit more upright.
05:40Paint, though, overall looks really good on this guy,
05:43down to the fact that they put the little dot there
05:44on the end of his nose.
05:47Sculpting on the face looks, again, really good.
05:48I like that they've given him the gum.
05:50The teeth, it's probably some of the cleanest teeth
05:52that we've looked at when it comes to arts.
05:54Generally, they are quite grimy.
05:56This guy misses every dentist one.
05:58This guy, he just keeps getting the calls
06:00from the receptionist.
06:01Are you going to be coming in?
06:02You're going to be coming in?
06:02I think it's probably even best
06:03for the people that work at the dentistry
06:05that this guy doesn't come in.
06:07He's going to be pulling out
06:08not just his own teeth,
06:09but the people there as well.
06:11The color looks good.
06:12The color is sculpted, though,
06:14it seems, to the rest of his outfits.
06:16Of course, he's got the very large pom-poms
06:18there on the front of his chest as well.
06:20Yeah, it's a really neat-looking Arthur Clown.
06:22I said this already.
06:23The figure does have limitations
06:24when it comes to his possibility,
06:26but I think if you go into that
06:27with the expectation,
06:29knowing that the figure is going to have
06:30those limited articulation points
06:31like the old retro toys,
06:33I don't know why.
06:34I feel like I'm kind of consoling this guy.
06:37Expect then, when you get this guy
06:38out of the packaging,
06:39his head is only going to be
06:40on a standard swivel.
06:41So, it does, yes, to be fair,
06:43a squeak.
06:44It does creak and squeak a little bit.
06:45Of course, you can take his arms
06:47and rotate them.
06:48Now, I noticed getting this guy
06:50that would rotate his arms
06:51all the way around.
06:52When it gets to around his shoulder area,
06:54they seem like they do get tight.
06:56They can rotate all the way around,
06:58but the more that they squeak,
07:00you'll also see, too,
07:01that his arm starts to separate
07:02from the peg.
07:03No harm, no foul.
07:04It just tells you, though,
07:05that you have to move the arm back
07:06the way that you found it.
07:07Same thing on this side as well.
07:09There is no hand articulation,
07:11nothing at all that you can swivel here
07:13for the hands or the wrists.
07:14But again, the legs move forward
07:16and back,
07:17back for that matter as well.
07:18So again, if you could find a way
07:20to get this guy in a running pose
07:22with, again, the hacksaw in his hand,
07:24I think that would be one fun way
07:25of displaying Art the Clown.
07:27If not for that, though,
07:28I mean, the only other alternative
07:29is either, again,
07:30having this guy standing straight,
07:32which, again, you want to make sure
07:32that he's leaning
07:33just a little further forward,
07:35or some may choose as well
07:37just to get this guy
07:38and keep him in the box.
07:39Because again, like,
07:40the box looks good.
07:41I like that even on the back of it,
07:43to kind of have, like,
07:43an advertisement
07:44you would have normally seen.
07:45Maybe, though, in the 80s,
07:46like, your G.I. Joss
07:47probably would not have had
07:48some kid with blood
07:49all over the front of his face
07:50and demon eyes.
07:52But yet, though,
07:53if you guys want to keep
07:53this guy in a box,
07:54kind of in the way,
07:55sort of like Talking Freddy,
07:57Talking Freddy Krueger.
07:58This guy doesn't utter
07:59any phrases, though,
08:00but imagine, though,
08:01if they could find a way
08:02to incorporate some sound effects
08:03screaming for a future
08:04Art the Clown.
08:05But in the meantime, though,
08:06this guy's a pretty good price, too.
08:08He sits a little less,
08:10but a penny or so less
08:11than $70.
08:12I think for the size of him,
08:13I think for the fact
08:14he comes with a pretty
08:15neat-looking box,
08:15and that he does have
08:16a hacksaw,
08:17I don't think that's
08:18a bad price at all.
08:19My, one thing I would think
08:21that, again,
08:22I think he could have
08:22probably come into
08:23with maybe one other accessory,
08:24because after all,
08:25he does have two
08:27somewhat,
08:28somewhat,
08:28I put them in
08:28bunny quotations,
08:29somewhat gripping hands,
08:31and yet he really only
08:32has one accessory
08:33to actually grip.
08:34Giant Size Art the Clown,
08:35sorry to say that so loud,
08:36is available right now
08:37on TOT's site
08:38for $69.99.
08:41Not a bad price at all
08:42with how much plastic
08:43went into this figure,
08:44not to mention, too,
08:45that he does come include
08:46with a really neat-looking box
08:47that I think most people
08:49probably will end up
08:50finding themselves
08:50just displaying the figure
08:51inside of it.
08:52I did notice one thing,
08:53though,
08:54trying to remove Art
08:55out of his package.
08:56The way that they put
08:57the twist ties
08:57around his waist
08:58and his arms,
08:59it bulks up
09:00the back of the card,
09:02so like the insert
09:02that holds Art
09:03between that
09:04and the inside
09:05of the packaging
09:05for the box.
09:06Where that twist tie is,
09:08you end up finding yourself
09:09having to pull it
09:09just a little bit more
09:10to get him outside the box.
09:11Luckily,
09:12while my worry was really
09:13that I was going to be
09:14breaking the box
09:14or ripping it
09:15because I don't really
09:16want to damage the packaging,
09:17luckily it didn't break
09:19and it didn't rip,
09:19but they, I guess,
09:21wanted to ensure
09:22that they used
09:22strong enough twist ties,
09:24but they also added
09:24a little rubber
09:25around them
09:26just so that there
09:27wouldn't be any scratching
09:28to the plastic
09:28on Art's body.
09:29The figure's body,
09:30though,
09:30is much larger
09:31than what we've used
09:32to see when it comes
09:33to certainly Art
09:33the Clowns.
09:34Now, of course,
09:35Trick or Treat Studios,
09:36before all this,
09:37did in fact do a
09:38six-scale version
09:39of Art the Clown,
09:39which we've also looked
09:40at here on this channel,
09:41but as of late,
09:42they've kind of covered
09:43more Art the Clown
09:44on a smaller scale.
09:45Nice to see him large,
09:47nice to see him in charge,
09:48of course,
09:48with the hacksaw
09:49in his hand.
09:50Again, I'm just going
09:51to see if I can find
09:52myself a small
09:52little garbage bag.
09:53It doesn't really
09:54have to be a working
09:55garbage bag.
09:55Maybe I'll just even
09:56take like two halves
09:57of a bag,
09:58kind of just sort of
09:59makeshift glue it
