While there's the FIFA Men's World Cup in progress, the ladies too cannot be out.

This as the West Indies get ready to take on Scotland in their Women's T20 World Cup game tomorrow from 1.30pm in Leeds.

And the ladies in maroon are looking forward to the encounter, but are not taking their opponents for granted.

Here's more.

00:00Having beaten defending champions New Zealand by seven wickets in their opener,
00:04the West Indies players are in good spirits ahead of their next women's T20 World Cup clash against Scotland on
00:09Thursday.
00:10Having said that, keeper batter Shemaine Campbell has utmost respect for the Scots, whom the Windies face in Group 2.
00:17You know, all the team is going to come hard. Scotland, you know, they've been improving and, you know, they
00:20get good players,
00:22good players, good brand of cricket. So for us, it's just to go out and play positive cricket and don't
00:27take anyone for granted.
00:28Last year, the West Indies lost their fifth over World Cup qualifier to Scotland and missed out on playing in
00:35the ICC tournament in India.
00:36So are the Windies looking to take revenge?
00:40We're just going to come and play hard cricket and they will come hard as well.
00:44But for us, it's just to, you know, remain, you know, confident, positive and just come and play West Indies
00:49brand of cricket.
00:50Looking back at the clash against New Zealand, Aliyah Alain was brilliant with the ball, taking four for 27.
00:56And it was clearly understandable that she was elated following her performance.
01:01It's always an honour and a privilege to represent West Indies and to be able to go there and get
01:05career best figures.
01:07Now that made a big deal to me and it is the best start off of any tournament.
01:12Alain says it's a relief to win the opening game since it takes away some pressure.
01:17The 31-year-old says the Windies need to capitalise on the opportunities that come their way.
01:22I think as a team, we just have to, or our own game, I should say, like, let me get
01:28some good starts, whether if we are chasing or we are setting the totals.
01:32So I think for us, it's not putting our hand down.
01:36I think for us to just full speed ahead, we just have to stay focused, stay together and enjoy the
01:42game.
01:42Besides New Zealand and Scotland, the Windies have England, Ireland and Sri Lanka in their group.
01:48We know what now, or any teams export.
