As our senior female footballers returned to action with a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Jamaica on Tuesday evening at the Ato Boldon stadium.

T&T kept the Reggae Girlz in check at the half, but could contain them in the second.

But it was a good acid test for the ladies ahead of the world cup qualifiers.

00:00It's never really a friendly encounter between TNT and Jamaica but solidarity
00:05was shown to our neighbors as they faced the force of Hurricane Melissa. But the
00:09reggae girls would come out storming. But TNT would restore parity with a
00:17stunning strike. Nikita Gosain's stunner ensured TNT went in on level terms with the reggae
00:32girls at the break. The second half would be a different story though as Natasha
00:36Thomas found herself unmarked in the area. Nicolette Craig failed to make contact with
00:46the ball off the corner allowing the reggae girls to double their lead. And Jodie Brown's
00:51fortune resulted in a fourth following a marauding run from Kalissa Van Zanten.
01:02Jamaica was short-handed but still hard enough to defeat TNT 4-1.
