00:22let's start with this one this broke yesterday former wwe intercontinental champion and former
00:28wwe tag team champion curtis axel a real name joseph hennig was arrested on may the 17th on
00:35several charges this is following an incident that took place at a mcdonald's drive-thru yeah
00:40according to the police report obtained by the watch mn a hennig was charged with a dui driving
00:45while impaired dwi refusing to submit a chemical test disorderly conduct obstructing legal process
00:51failing to stop for an accident and having an open bottle of alcohol in his car yeah axel was
00:56arrested in anoka county minnesota after police officers were dispatched to a mcdonald's in st
01:03francis this is shortly after nine o'clock local time on the day after property damage crash where
01:08a vehicle backed into another automobile in the drive-thru police discovered axel slowly driving
01:14around the car park upon seeing him they noticed a strong smell of alcohol while axel had slurred speech
01:21and had bloodshot watery eyes and as as it said there in the police report an open bottle of vodka
01:28was found in his automobile yeah police instructed axel exit the vehicle but he did not do so and had
01:33to be physically removed from the automobile at which point he was taken to the ground and handcuffed
01:37after being placed in the police car axel allegedly refused chemical testing and responded with
01:42profanities which included i don't give an s an f u u f a mcdonald's employee noted to police that
01:48axel had
01:49been mumbling in the drive-thru before he pulled forward swore at staff and backed into another
01:54vehicle axel then allegedly opened his door and yelled expletives at the female driver that he'd
02:00allegedly just backed into and then of course the the arrest as described there took place
02:04and axel was released from jail on may the 19th um now this uh this this surprised us yesterday
02:11obviously this is something that took place a little while back uh you know if it was last week
02:15it would have been may 19th yeah it would have been about last week a faithful day in the wrestling
02:18calendar it is indeed and now more so sorry sorry the the was released on may 19th he was arrested

02:23may the 17th uh but we saw the uh the the bug shot and such yesterday in details of what
02:28happened
02:28uh but going a little bit further into it it seems like the latest in what has been uh quite
02:34a troubling
02:35time for joseph hennig over the last few years yeah minnesota court records note that joseph
02:40hennig had suffered from multiple legal issues in recent years in august of 2024 american express
02:45received a judgment of 21 357 94 against hennig for money owed on a credit card i find it unbelievable
02:52this information all comes out me it was like the the gunther thing yesterday his home address his
02:57phone number his email address all online i was like what's going on very worrying that is don't
03:01do anything weird but we continue anyway a writ of execution was granted on in june 2025 but was
03:06returned when hennig made a partial payment towards a debt of five thousand nine hundred and thirty
03:10six dollars and seventy nine cents a second writ of execution was granted in april of 2026 however
03:15and there remains an outstanding amount of sixteen thousand seven hundred and seventy four dollars and
03:20twenty six cents so on top of this credit card uh debt and this judgment from the courts from
03:27american express uh another judgment if against joe hennig occurred from the estates of silver oaks
03:33association which is a housing estate in minnesota a judgment was granted against hennig and his wife
03:39brooke hennig in early 2025 for four thousand nine hundred and eighty nine dollars and forty cents the case
03:46was closed as of january this year according to court records so it seems like kind of looking at
03:53these two events it's been a bit of a rough time for joe hennig as of late that has seemingly
04:00culminated in uh what took place on may the 17th there's just a sad story isn't it clearly the guy
04:05needs some help and hopefully gets the breathing room to get that help and get himself back on the
04:09straight and narrow because it's it's not nice to read this sort of stuff and then obviously the
04:12the personal details on top of the mcdonald's drive-through incident as well it's just yeah
04:15i wish him all the best mate yeah we we really hope for the best for him uh as they
04:20say previously
04:21part of wwe until from 2007 until 2020 uh briefly there is a producer in april of 2022 and uh
04:28and i'm
04:29not quite sure why that ultimately didn't work out but he was there in april 2022 he was gone by

04:35um axel only wrestled once since his wwe release i believe he tagged with uh with von wagner uh on
04:42an
04:42independent show well there's another not that not that connects any dots he lived the dream is what
04:48i'm saying yeah absolutely he said everything he needs to do in wrestling um when we know more about

08:28do it properly and it's not as good because they're then overthinking it and over analyzing it
08:33and it can't be as good you always just want to let them just do what they did before all

08:42when as soon as you if you come in and do something like on the one day and then you

08:49happened with ronda she obviously served a fine purpose for the right because i don't think the
08:52wrestlemania 35 main event would have had the ladies in if ronda wasn't there i think that's the
