00:00I have concerns with Oklahoma City.
00:04I don't think people understand, maybe now they do well,
00:08how good of a player Jalen Williams is.
00:11Because Jalen Williams is the guy that can go get a bucket.
00:16And at times, remember Big Sills, even last year,
00:18he was their best offensive player, even better than SGA at points.
00:23So to me, having J-Dub not play tonight is huge.
00:28Same thing with A.J. Mitchell.
00:30A guy that got no playing time there last year.
00:32And it was absolutely dynamic in his playoffs.
00:35If you look at OKC Big Sills,
00:38their top three guys that can create a shot are SGA, Williams, and Mitchell.
00:44Well, two and three are out.
00:46So it really is going to change on how Mark Dagonal can play.
00:51And let me tell you from my coaching angle why.
00:55When you have SGA, you're able to get up on him and drive the ball
01:02because he's not going to go all the way to the basket because Wemby's there.
01:07So now what you do is now you get tighter on the shooters, the Caruso's, the Dort's, right?
01:13The McCain's.
01:14You get tighter on shooters because now you have that equalizer down low,
01:20and SGA is not going to take it to the basket.
01:23I have a suggestion for Mark Dagonal.
01:26Either move Chet to the five, who can step out and shoot the three,
01:30or put the other Jalen Williams in to shoot the three.
01:34Bring Wemby out.
01:35Now driving lanes create for SGA to get all the way to the basket,
01:40and then you have kickouts.
01:42The problem is Dagonal hasn't done it yet.
01:44I don't see it happening.
01:46I actually think the Spurs, because of the injuries, will steal this one tonight.
01:51How about this in game five?
01:53Game five, the bench for OKC was really the factor in that game.
01:57If you watched it, they really did rotations well,
01:59and they really came off the bench,
02:01and I thought that was the difference, right, against the Spurs here.
02:03So you're saying now this really is going to affect that rotation for them going into this.
02:08So that kind of evens the field a little bit.
02:11So does this come down to Wemby tonight really dominating?
02:14They're on the box tonight, because if he gets north of 27 points,
02:18they're almost unbeatable.
02:20So defending him, is that going to be the number one priority down low?
02:24Because, again, I mean, if I'm San Antonio, coach,
02:28don't you want him more down on the box in a game like this
02:31with limited guys down there, right, instead of being at the perimeter,
02:34or do you want him at the top?
02:36Big sales, maybe you should be a basketball coach,
02:39because that's exactly what I want San Antonio to do tonight,
02:43especially if you get Harden signed into foul trouble,
02:46or you decide to go with Jalen Williams or Chad at the 5.
02:49Go ahead, put Wemby at that low block, right off the low block.
02:53If I'm Mark Dagonal, I'm going to send double teams.
02:57You know what happens back in the day?
02:59You could do what we would do, what we call the Laker cut,
03:02which was before Kareem.
03:04Throw the ball, cut over the top, get movement.
03:06Or, if you throw it to the post, dive someone from the top,
03:10space the floor, make someone engage with the diver,
03:13and then you have that weak side skip or that one more pass for the corner three.
03:17If I were Mitch Johnson, I would go inside to Wemby,
03:21I would get Harden signed into foul trouble,
03:22and force double teams.
03:24So look for Wemby, possibly, folks, not just to score,
03:28but at least early on, maybe become more of a facilitator
03:32and try to get open looks for these San Antonio guards.
03:37Now, with all that being said on what you just said,
03:39so SGA's role tonight, obviously, carry more of the mail tonight, right?
03:44I mean, when you're losing those two players here,
03:47expecting to see potentially 48 minutes from this guy,
03:49maybe the entire game he stays out there.
03:51I mean, this is an SGA game.
03:54You got the home crowd.
03:55That barn is one of the greatest barns of all time with Oklahoma City.
03:59I've never seen anybody stand for 48 minutes.

04:03I mean, it's been just one of the best places to play.
04:06SGA's night tonight.
04:07What are you expecting?
04:09Well, listen, they have a very experienced crew led by Mark Davis.
04:13They announced already the officials for tonight.
04:16So I don't think they're going to bail him out in regards to the SGA shooting
04:22and kind of falling and moving.
04:24They're going to – the referees are going to stay out of it.
04:29And this, to me, is a legacy game for SGA.
04:33Your second-best offensive score as a guard is out.
04:36A guy that had a tremendous season, A.J. Mitchell, is out.
04:40You are the two-time MVP.
04:43You are the best player in the world.
04:46Go out there and earn it tonight.
04:48Hit your mid-range shot.
04:50Don't be afraid to challenge when B.P's inside and shoot the ball better.
04:55Remember, 40% are under from the field, I think, in four or five straight games.
04:59First time it's happened, I think, since 2021.
05:02SGA's got to have a SGA best player in the world game tonight for Oklahoma City to win.
