00:00And I'm only half joking. I obviously watch all basketball through the eyes as a Knicks fan.
00:04I'm totally subjective about that. And the back and forth last night, high level basketball, by the way,
00:11it was like, Thunder went up nine, Spurs tied it. Thunder goes up ten, Spurs tied it.
00:17Thunder goes up seven, Spurs tied it. And then obviously the fourth quarter,
00:21you know, they had a couple back-to-back good possessions and turnovers and whatnot.
00:25And missed shots by the Spurs. So the Thunder walk away with it, with a big win, 122-113.
00:31But I can't get enough of it, Tyrone, because the longer that series goes,
00:36the more rest my Knicks get. And the more rest my Knicks get,
00:40the better off they're going to be in what's going to be a battle in the NBA Finals.
00:45Last night's Thunder-Spurs game helped the Knicks win game one of the NBA Finals.
00:51Well, see, this is what I don't like about what you're doing and what Knicks fans are doing.
00:55While I understand you feel great, and you should, you have to take care of your own business first.
01:02Well, that series is over.
01:03Well, hold on.
01:03That's a wrap.
01:04I believe you're going to win the series.
01:05Yeah, it's over.
01:06But what if your series goes six or seven?
01:09Not happening.
01:10Yeah, see, that's where I'm about to.
01:11If you hit the Knicks with a Knicks shoot 10% from behind the arc and get absolutely nothing out
01:16of O.G.
01:16Adanobi and get absolutely nothing, essentially, out of two or three of their other star players
01:21and needed a 22-point comeback in the final seven minutes when they played like crap, shot like crap,
01:27and it's their worst playoff game in a month, and you can't walk away with the W there, it's over.
01:33It's a wrap.
01:34You know it's a wrap.
01:35They know it's a wrap.
01:36Clever's been very good at home.
01:39Even my fat friend, John Fanta, knows it's a wrap.
01:42All right.
01:43You're going to win the series.
01:44Probably.
01:45But injuries can happen to your team.
01:48What you're putting out there is a little too cocky for a Knicks fan.
01:52I've been saying this.
01:53All the Knicks fans are too cocky relative to Knicks fans.
01:56I want to be clear.
01:57I'm not saying we're the best team in the history of basketball.
01:59No, no, no.
01:59Wait a minute.
02:00You did this morning.
02:01No, I'm saying we're the best team this year.
02:03You went on WABC this morning.
02:05I did.
02:06And you did say that this morning.
02:07What did I say?
02:07You said not only did you say Brunson was Michael Jordan.
02:11In the fourth quarter, he was.
02:12And you said that this Knicks team is the best Knicks team of your entire life.
02:17Well, I didn't get to see 70 and 73.
02:19You said it's the best.
02:21Yes.
02:21I think this Knicks team, if you take 70 and 73 out, because I didn't watch them.
02:24I was alive.
02:25You couldn't watch them.
02:26I was four years old, right?
02:27Yeah, you couldn't watch it, right.
02:28So I don't include that team.
02:29They're two-time champions.
02:30Uh-huh.
02:31That's the best Knicks team of all time.
02:33Period.
02:33Stop.
02:34But from 1980, let's say, out, or 1974 and on, this Knicks team, and it's not close,
02:42is the best Knicks team we have ever had.
02:45What about 1994?
02:46Better than the Ewing, Charles Oakley, John Starks team.
02:50Yes.
02:50They beat it to the finals.
02:51Better than the Steinmeier, Carmelo Anthony team that won a single playoff series.
02:56Against the Boston Celtics.
02:57That's fine.
02:58Better than all of them.
02:59Better than the Bernard King Knicks of the 80s that beat the Pistons in that great seven-game
03:03series.
03:04Mm-hmm.
03:04I win Bernard at 50 points.
03:06Yes.
03:06This right now, for anybody under 50 years old, is the greatest Knick team they've ever seen.
03:14And I'll do you one better.
03:15Jalen Brunson's the best Knick they've ever seen.
03:17Mm-hmm.
03:17Yes.
