00:00Nothing better than hearing these words. Game 7, baby. What do you got tonight?
00:06It's a tough matchup. The line's about 3.5. Total's around 2.12.5.
00:10And there are a lot of trends to consider when you're looking at NBA Game 7 playoff matchups.
00:15Home favorites in Game 7 since 2003. They're 49-24 straight up.
00:22But home favorites of less than 4.5 points, I think they're just like 6-13 straight up.
00:28So you got to throw all those trends out the window.
00:32It's all going to come down, I think, here, is if Wemby can have another performance like he did in
00:36Game 1
00:37when he went for like 40 and 20 and the torch gets passed on to him.
00:42But it's going to be extremely difficult for that to happen because this Thunder team is battle-tested.
00:46They got more experience. They got a much deeper bench.
00:50I mean, you know, Shea hasn't been playing the best, but I think he comes out big tonight.
00:55OKC has eight guys that average more than eight points per game and play more than 22 minutes a game
01:00in the playoffs.
01:02And I think this is a great bounce-back spot for the Thunder here.
01:05Last game, OKC shot only like, I think it was 37% from the floor, 25% from the three
01:10-point line.
01:12But that was on the road.
01:13And now they're at home.
01:15And I don't think, you know, that type of disappointing performance is going to happen again tonight at 208 Thunder
01:20Drive.
01:21I mean, those fans in OKC, they come out and, you know, the place is electric and all that emotion
01:27and all that.
01:29I think it's going to be enough to push OKC over the edge.
01:31I don't know if they covered the spread, but I laid the money line on them, so I think they
01:35do win the game.
01:36I think OKC is the better team.
01:37And I think they're going to play a Knicks team that has a chip on their shoulder,
01:41especially with the way Jalen Brunson has been playing.
01:44Do you agree, or how much does this play into when you're setting a line, the home court?
01:50And you just mentioned it.
01:51It's one of the greatest barns in the NBA.
01:54I mean, I've never seen it.
01:55We talked the other day about this.
01:5748 minutes, you've got the entire fan base standing up for this thing.
02:00How much do you play into that when you're setting a line here?
02:03And how much does that become a factor in a game like this in a game seven?
02:08Well, it helped for years, but over the last decade, I think it's like a 50-50 situation for the
02:17home team.
02:17But this is a team, like I said, it's been battle-tested.
02:20Spurs are a young team.
02:21It's going to be tough for them to come back from a big performance like that.
02:26Now they've got to go on the road to OKC and play the same way again.
02:30And again, it all comes down to the usage rate of Wemby.
02:33If he can come out and play the entire game and go for 40-20 again, they've got a great
02:38shot at one.
02:39Boy, I'll tell you, no doubt.
02:41I mean, 41-24-7, it's almost like you're watching a recreation of Jabbar in the way that this guy's
02:49playing.
02:49But what the wild thing is here, Godfather, is that this guy here, man, he's 22 years old.
