00:00117. In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
00:05118. A thousand Lamry
00:11119. These are the verses of the Wise Book
00:16110. Was it a wonder to the people that We revealed to a man from among them, "Warn the people and give good tidings to those who believe that they will have a firm footing with God"?
00:41Their Lord
00:43111. The disbelievers said, “This is clearly a magician.”
00:51112. Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then established Himself upon the Throne, arranging the affairs
01:09113. There is no intercessor except after His permission. That is Allah, your Lord, so worship Him. Will you not then remember?
01:25114. To Him is your return, all of you. God's promise is true.
01:32115. He originates creation and then repeats it to reward those who believed and did righteous deeds with justice.
01:47116. And those who disbelieved will have a drink of boiling water and a painful punishment because of their disbelief.
02:00117. It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a reflected light and determined for it phases so that you may know the number of years and the reckoning of time.
02:17118. God did not create that except in truth. He details the signs for a people who know.
02:30119. Indeed, in the alternation of night and day and in what God has created in the heavens and the earth are signs for a people who fear Him.
02:46110. Indeed, those who are not pleased to meet Us and are content with the life of this world and feel secure therein, and those who are heedless of Our signs.
03:05111. Those will have the Fire as their abode because of what they used to earn.
03:15112. Those who believe and do righteous deeds - their Lord will guide them because of their faith. Rivers will flow beneath them in gardens of pleasure.
03:34113. Their prayer therein will be, "Glory be to You, O Allah," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace."
03:45114. And their final supplication will be, “Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.”
03:54115. If they were to hasten evil for people as they hasten good, their appointed time would have come to an end. So leave those who do not expect to meet Us to wander blindly in their transgression.
04:18116. And when harm touches man, he calls upon Us, whether lying on his side or sitting or standing.
04:33117. But when We removed his affliction from him, he continued on as if he had never called upon Us to remove the affliction that had touched him. Thus are those who transgress for what they used to do.
05:00118. And We destroyed generations before you when they wronged, and their messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they would not believe.
05:17119. Thus We recompense the criminal people
05:23110. Then We made you successors in the land after them to see how you would act.
05:36111. And when Our clear verses are recited to them, those who do not expect the meeting say, "We will bring a Qur'an other than this."
05:53112. Say, "It is not for me to change it of my own accord."
06:07113. I only follow what is revealed to me.
06:14114. I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day.
06:24115. Say, "If God had willed, I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have made it known to you, for I have lived among you a lifetime before it."
06:43116. Will you not neglect
06:46117. And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about God or denies His verses? Indeed, the criminals will not succeed.
07:01117. And they worship besides God that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, "These are our intercessors with God."
07:21118. Say, "Do you inform God of something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?"
07:32118. Exalted is He above what they associate with Him.
07:39119. And mankind was but one community, then they differed
07:51110. And if it were not for a word that had already gone forth from your Lord, it would have been decided between them concerning that over which they differ.
08:03111. And they say, “Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?”
08:14112. So say, "The unseen belongs only to God, so wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait."
08:28113. And when We let people taste mercy after adversity has touched them, at once they devise schemes against Our verses.
08:47114. Say, "God is swifter in deception."
08:52115. Our messengers record your plots.
08:59116. He is the one who guides you on land and sea
09:05117. Even if you are in the ship and it sails with them in a favorable wind and they rejoice in it
09:20118. And they rejoiced over her; then a violent wind came upon her, and waves came upon them from every side.
09:44119. And they thought that they were surrounded, so they called upon God, sincerely devoting their religion to Him, saying, “If You deliver us from this, we will surely be among the grateful.”
10:07110. But when He delivered them, they transgressed in the land unjustly.
10:18111. O mankind, your transgression is only against yourselves. [It is but] the enjoyment of worldly life.
10:34111. The enjoyment of this worldly life, then to Us is your return, and We will inform you of what you used to do.
10:50112. The example of this worldly life is like rain which We send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the earth mingles with it, from which people and livestock eat.
11:12113. Even when the earth has taken on its adornment and is decorated
11:32114. And she adorned herself, and her people thought they were capable of overpowering her, but Our command came to her.
11:49115. Our command came to it by night or by day, and We made it like a harvest, as if it had not flourished the day before.
12:04116. Thus We explain the verses for a people who reflect.
12:13117. And Allah invites to the Home of Peace and guides whom He wills to a straight path.
12:28117. For those who do good is the best reward and even more
12:35118. They will not be burdened with hardship or humiliation.
12:42119. Those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally.
12:51110. And those who have earned evil deeds will be recompensed with an equivalent evil deed, and humiliation will overwhelm them.
13:04111. They will have no protector from God; it will be as if their faces are covered with pieces of the dark night.
13:21112. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.
13:30113. And on the Day We gather them all together, We will say to those who associated others with Allah, “You and your associates will be in your place.”
13:47114. So We separated them, and their associates said, “You did not worship us.”
14:01115. God is sufficient as a witness between us and you if we were unaware of your worship.
14:16116. There every soul will be tested for what it has done before, and they will be returned to God, their true Master, and what they used to invent will vanish from them.
14:40117. Say, "Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth? Or who owns hearing and sight? And who brings forth the living from the dead?"
14:59118. And who brings forth the dead from the living, and who directs the affairs? They will say, "Allah."
15:16118. So say, "Will you not then fear Allah?"
15:21119. That is God, your true Lord. So what is there after the truth except misguidance? So where are you being turned away?
15:36110. Thus the word of your Lord has come true upon those who transgressed, that they will not believe.
15:49111. Say, "Is there among your 'partners' one who originates creation and then repeats it? Then how are you deluded?"
16:11112. Say, "Is there among your partners one who guides to the truth?"
16:22113. Say, "God guides to the truth."
16:27114. Is he who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who cannot guide unless he is guided? What is the matter with you? How do you judge?
16:50115. And most of them follow nothing but conjecture. Indeed, conjecture avails nothing against the truth. Indeed, God is Knowing of what they do.
17:11116. This Qur'an could not have been fabricated by anyone other than God, but it is a confirmation of what came before it and a detailed explanation of the Scripture.
17:30117. There is no doubt about it from the Lord of the worlds.
17:46118. Or do they say, "He invented it"? Say, "Then produce a chapter like it and call upon whomever you can besides Allah, if you should be truthful."
18:06119. Rather, they have denied that of which they have no knowledge, and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Likewise, those before them denied. So see how was the end of the wrongdoers.
18:31110. And some of them believe in it, and some of them do not believe in it. And your Lord is most knowing of the corrupters.
18:46111. And if they deny you, say, “My deeds are mine, and yours are yours. You are innocent of what I do, and I am innocent of what you do.”
19:09112. And among them are those who listen to you. But can you make the deaf hear, even if they do not understand?
19:25113. And among them are those who look at you. Can you guide the blind, even if they do not see?
19:39114. God does not wrong people in the least, but people wrong themselves.
19:53115. And on the Day He gathers them, it will be as if they had not remained [in this world] except an hour of the day, recognizing one another. Those who denied the meeting with God have certainly lost, and they were not
20:17guided
20:19116. And whether We show you some of those whom He has promised or cause you to die, to Us is their return. Then God is Witness over what they do.
20:38117. And for every nation there is a messenger
20:44118. So when their messenger comes, judgment will be passed between them with justice, and they will not be wronged.
20:56118. They say, “When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?”
21:06119. Say, "I possess no power to harm or benefit myself except as God wills. For every nation is a term appointed; when their term comes, they cannot delay it."
21:30An hour and they don't bring
21:35110. Say, "Have you considered: if His punishment should come upon you by night or by day, what is there that the criminals would hasten?"
21:49111. Is it sinful that when it comes to pass, you will believe in it now, when you were eager for it?
22:05112. Then it will be said to those who did wrong, “Taste the punishment of eternity. Are you being recompensed except for what you used to earn?”
22:20113. And they ask you, "Is it true?" Say, "Yes, by my Lord, it is the truth, and you cannot escape it."
22:40114. And if every soul that has wronged had all that is on earth, it would ransom itself with it. And they will conceal their remorse when they see the punishment, and judgment will be passed between them with justice, while they
23:03They do not wrong anyone
23:05115. Verily, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Verily, the promise of Allah is true, but most of them do not know.
23:26116. He gives life and causes death, and to Him you will be returned.
23:33117. O mankind, there has come to you an admonition from your Lord and a healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers
23:55118. Say, "In the bounty of God and in His mercy—in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate."
24:09119. Say, "Have you considered what Allah has sent down to you of provision, and you have made some of it unlawful and some lawful?"
24:34110. Say, "Has God permitted you [to do this], or do you invent [something] against God?"
24:42111. And what do those who fabricate lies think?
24:48112. And you are not engaged in any matter, nor do you recite any of the Qur'an, nor do you act upon it.
25:16113. And you are not engaged in any matter, nor do you recite any of the Qur'an, nor do you act upon it.
25:22114. And you do not do any deed except that We are witnesses over you when you are engaged in it.
25:38115. Not an atom's weight, whether in the earth or in the heavens, escapes your Lord's knowledge, nor anything smaller than that.
25:56116. There is no greater thing than what is in a clear book.
26:08117. Indeed, the friends of God will have no fear, nor will they grieve.
26:22118. Those who believed and were righteous
26:29119. They will have good tidings in this life and in the Hereafter. There is no changing the words of God. That is the great triumph.
26:47110. And let not their words grieve you, for all honor belongs to God. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
27:02111. Verily, to God belongs whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth.
27:12112. And they do not follow those whom they invoke besides Allah as partners. They follow nothing but conjecture, and they do nothing but guess.
27:34113. It is He who made the night for you to rest in and the day for you to see.
27:46113. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who listen.
27:55114. They said, “God has taken a son.” Exalted is He! He is the Self-Sufficient. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Do you have any proof for this?
28:18Do you attribute to God what you do not know?
28:24115. Say, "Those who invent lies about God will not succeed."
28:34116. They will enjoy worldly pleasures, then to Us their return will come, and then We will make them taste severe punishment for their disbelief.
28:50117. And recite to them the story of Noah when he said to his people, “O my people, if my standing and my reminding you is burdensome to you…”
29:15118. By the verses of God, and upon God I have relied, so resolve your affair.
29:25119. So gather your forces and your partners.
29:33110. Then your affair will not be of any concern to you, so decide for me and do not give me respite.
29:47111. But if you turn away, I have not asked you for any reward.
29:56112. My reward is only with God, and I have been commanded to be of the Muslims.
30:06113. But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ark and made them successors, and We drowned those who denied Our signs.
30:24114. So see what was the end of those who were warned.
30:32115. Then We sent messengers after him to their people, and they came to them with clear proofs.
30:47116. They would not believe in what they had previously denied.
30:54117. Thus We seal the hearts of the aggressors.
31:02118. Then We sent Moses and Aaron after them to Pharaoh and his chiefs with Our signs.
31:15119. They were arrogant and were a criminal people.
31:21110. But when the truth came to them from Us, they said, “This is clearly magic.”
31:37111. Moses said, “Do you say of the truth when it has come to you, ‘Is this magic?’ But magicians will never succeed.”
31:54112. They said, “Have you come to turn us away from what we found our fathers practicing, and so that you may have greatness in the land? We will not believe in you.”
32:18113. Pharaoh said, “Bring me every skilled magician.”
32:26114. When the magicians came, Moses said to them, “Throw down what you possess.”
32:41115. So when they had thrown down their ropes, Moses said, “What you have brought is magic. Indeed, God will expose its falsehood. Indeed, God does not set right the work of corrupters.”
33:02116. And God establishes the truth by His words, even though the criminals may hate it.
33:11117. None believed in Moses except a few of his people, out of fear that Pharaoh and his chiefs would persecute them.
33:31118. And indeed, Pharaoh was arrogant in the land, and indeed, he was one of the transgressors.
33:43119. And Moses said, “O my people, if you have believed in God, then rely upon Him if you are
34:01110. They said, “We have put our trust in God. Our Lord, do not make us a trial for the wrongdoing people.”
34:17111. And deliver us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people.
34:25112. And We inspired Moses and his brother, “Settle your people in houses in Egypt and make your houses places of worship and establish prayer and give good tidings to the believers.”
34:49113. And Moses said, “Our Lord, You have given Pharaoh and his chiefs adornment and wealth in this worldly life.”
35:06114. You gave Pharaoh and his chiefs adornment and wealth in this worldly life, our Lord, so that they might lead people astray from Your path.
35:24115. Our Lord, obliterate their wealth and harden their hearts so they will not believe until they see the painful punishment.
35:40116. He said, “Your prayer has been answered, so remain steadfast and do not follow the path of those who do not know.”
35:56117. And We brought the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them unjustly and rebelliously.
36:12117. Even when he was about to drown, he said, “I believe.”
36:22118. He said, “I believe that there is no god except the One in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am one of the Muslims.”
36:42119. Now, when you disobeyed before and were among the corrupters
36:50110. So today We will preserve your body so that you may be a sign for those who succeed you. And indeed, many among the people are heedless of Our signs.
37:10111. And We settled the Children of Israel in a goodly abode and provided them with good things. They did not differ until knowledge came to them.
37:31112. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.
37:44113. If you are in doubt about what We have revealed to you, then ask those who read the Scripture before you.
38:04114. The truth has come to you from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters.
38:16115. And do not be among those who deny the signs of God, lest you be among the losers.
38:30116. Those against whom the word of your Lord has been justified will not believe
38:39117. Even if every sign came to them, they would not see the painful punishment.
38:50117. If only the people of Jonah had believed and their faith had benefited them.
39:03118. Except for the people of Jonah, when they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in this worldly life.
39:18119. And We gave them enjoyment for a time.
39:21110. And if your Lord had willed, all those on earth would have believed.
39:32111. Would you compel people to become believers?
39:41112. And it is not for any soul to believe except by permission of Allah, and He places defilement upon those who do not reason.
39:57113. Say, "Look at what is in the heavens and the earth."
40:04114. And what good are signs and warnings to a people who do not believe?
40:14115. Are they then waiting for anything other than the days of those who passed away before them?
40:25116. Say, "Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait."
40:36117. Then We will save Our messengers and those who believed. Thus it is incumbent upon Us to save the believers.
40:50118. Say, "O mankind, if you are in doubt as to my religion, then I do not worship those whom you worship besides Allah."
41:11119. But I worship God who causes you to die, and I have been commanded to be of the believers.
41:32110. And set your face toward the religion, inclining to truth, and do not be of those who associate others with Allah.
41:43111. And do not invoke besides Allah that which neither benefits you nor harms you, for if you do, then indeed you are among the wrongdoers.
42:01112. And if God afflicts you with harm, none can remove it except Him.
42:12113. And if He intends good for you, there is no repelling His favor.
42:22114. He afflicts with it whomever He wills of His servants.
42:29115. He is the Forgiving, the Merciful
42:33116. Say, O mankind, the truth has come to you from your Lord
42:45117. Whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] himself.
42:52118. And whoever goes astray only goes astray to his own detriment, and I am not a guardian over you.
43:06119. Follow what is revealed to you and be patient until God judges, for He is the best of judges.
43:19119. Say, O people, say, O people, say, O people, say, O
