00:00117. In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
00:06118. A thousand Lamry
00:11119. A Book whose verses are perfectly arranged and then explained in detail from One Who is All-Wise and All-Knowing
00:21110. Worship none but God. I am a warner and a bringer of good tidings to you from Him.
00:34111. And seek forgiveness from your Lord and then turn to Him. He will grant you good enjoyment for a specified term.
00:52112. He will provide you with good enjoyment for a specified term, and He will give you what He has bestowed as a surplus.
01:09113. But if they turn away, then I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.
01:20114. To God is your return, and He is over all things competent.
01:29115. Indeed, they fold their breasts to hide from Him.
01:39116. Do they not know, when they cover themselves with their garments, what they conceal and what they reveal?
01:50117. He is All-Knowing of what is in the hearts.
01:56118. There is no creature on earth but that its provision is with God, and He knows its resting place and its repository.
02:13119. All is in a clear book
02:19110. And it is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and His Throne was upon the water, to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed.
02:39111. And if you say that you will be resurrected after death, those who disbelieve will surely say, “This is nothing but obvious magic.”
03:01112. And if We delay the punishment for them until a specified time, they will surely say what is holding them back.
03:17113. On the Day when it will come upon them, it will not be averted from them, and they will be overtaken by that which they used to seek refuge from.
03:31114. And if We give man a taste of mercy from Us and then withdraw it from him, indeed, he is despairing and ungrateful.
03:48115. And if We let him taste favor after adversity has touched him, he will surely say, “The evil has departed from me.” Indeed, he is joyful and boastful.
04:11116. Except for those who are patient and do righteous deeds; for them is forgiveness and a great reward.
04:26117. Perhaps you will leave out some of what is revealed to you, and your heart will be distressed by what they say.
04:42118. That they should say, "Why has a treasure not been sent down to him, or an angel come with him?" You are only a warner.
05:02119. And God is the Guardian over all things.
05:09110. Or do they say, "He invented it"? Say, "Then produce ten surahs like it, fabricated, and call upon whomever you can besides Allah, if you should be truthful."
05:31111. If they do not respond to you, then know that what was revealed was with the knowledge of God and that there is no god but He.
05:59112. Are you Muslims?
06:04113. Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornments - We will fully repay them for their deeds therein, and they will not be deprived of anything therein.
06:19114. Those who will have nothing in the Hereafter but the Fire, and what they did therein will be in vain, and what they used to do will be worthless.
06:36115. Is he who is guided by clear evidence from his Lord, and a witness from Him follows it, and before it was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy, [like one who is not]?
06:56116. Those who believe in Him, and those who disbelieve in Him from among the factions - the Fire is their appointed place. No doubt about it will suffice.
07:15117. It is the truth from your Lord, but most people do not believe.
07:27117. And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about God?
07:34118. Those will be presented before their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied against their Lord."
07:51119. May God's curse be upon the oppressors.
07:57110. Those who hinder people from the way of God and seek to make it crooked, and they are disbelievers in the Hereafter.
08:13111. Those were not able to overcome the challenges on earth, nor did they have any protectors besides God.
08:30112. Their punishment will be doubled.
08:35113. They could neither hear nor see.
08:43114. Those who have lost themselves and what they used to fabricate has gone astray from them
08:58115. Undoubtedly, in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers.
09:06116. Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds and humble themselves before their Lord - those are the companions of Paradise.
09:24117. They will abide therein eternally.
09:34118. The two groups are like the blind and the deaf, and the seeing and the hearing.
09:44119. Are they equal, for example?
09:49110. Do you not remember?
09:54111. And We certainly sent Noah to his people, [saying], “Indeed, I am to you a clear warner.”
10:07111. Worship none but God. I fear for you the punishment of a painful Day.
10:21112. The disbelieving leaders of his people said, “We see you only as a human being like ourselves, and we see that only those who are hostile to us have followed you.”
10:41113. At first glance, we see no advantage you have over us; rather, we think you are liars.
11:03114. He said, “O my people, what if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has given me mercy from Himself, but it has been obscured from you?”
11:25115. So it was hidden from you that we should bring it to you while you were averse to it.
11:36116. O my people, I do not ask you for any money for it; my reward is only with God.
11:47117. And I am not one to drive away those who have believed. Indeed, they will meet their Lord, but I see you as a people who are ignorant.
12:08118. O my people, who will protect me from God if I attack them? Will you not then remember?
12:22119. I do not say to you that I possess the treasures of God, nor do I know the unseen, nor do I say that I am an angel.
12:47110. And I do not say to those whom your eyes despise, that God will not grant them any good.
13:01111. God knows best what is in their hearts; indeed, I would then be among the wrongdoers.
13:16112. They said, “O Noah, you have disputed with us and prolonged the dispute. So bring us something that will protect us, if you are of the truthful.”
13:35113. He said, “God will bring it to you if He wills, and you will not be able to frustrate Him.”
13:52114. And my advice will not benefit you, even if I were to advise you, if God intends to lead you astray. He is your Lord, and to Him you will be returned.
14:15115. Or do they say, “He has invented it?” Say, “If I have invented it, then the crime is upon me, and I am innocent of what you are doing.”
14:33116. And it was revealed to Noah that none of your people will believe except those who have already believed, so do not be distressed by what they used to do.
14:53117. And construct the ark under Our observation and Our inspiration, and do not address Me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they will be drowned.
15:10118. He was building the ark, and every time he passed by, a group of his people ridiculed him. He said, “If you ridicule us, we will ridicule you as you ridicule others.”
15:35You are mocking
15:36119. Then you will know who will be afflicted with a humiliating punishment and upon whom will descend a lasting punishment.
15:52110. Until Our command comes and the light blazes up, say, "We will carry in it two of every kind, and your family, except those against whom the word has already been decreed."
16:22111. And those who believed—but only a few believed with him.
16:31112. And he said, “Embark therein, in the name of God, whether it be its sailing or its anchorage. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful.”
16:47113. And it sailed with them through waves like mountains, and Noah called to his son, who was apart, “My son, come aboard with us.”
17:15114. And do not be with the disbelievers
17:20115. He said, “I will take refuge on a mountain that will protect me from the water.”
17:31116. He said, “There is no protector today from the decree of God except for whom He has mercy.”
17:40117. The waves came between them, and he was among those who drowned.
17:48117. And it was said, “O earth, swallow up your water, and O sky, withhold [your rain]!” And the water raged, and the matter was concluded.
18:05118. And the matter was decided, and it came to rest on Mount Judi, and it was said, "Away with the wrongdoing people!"
18:18118. And Noah called upon his Lord, saying, “My Lord, indeed my son is of my family, and indeed Your promise is true.”
18:33119. And you are the wisest of judges.
18:38110. He said, “O Noah, he is not of your family; indeed, he is one whose conduct is not righteous.”
18:51111. So do not ask me about that of which you have no knowledge. I advise you not to be among the ignorant.
19:06112. He said, “My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking You that of which I have no knowledge, and from not forgiving me and having mercy on me.”
19:24113. Unless You forgive me and have mercy on me, I will be among the losers.
19:35114. It was said, "O Noah, disembark with peace from Us and blessings upon you and upon the nations with you. And there are nations whom We will grant enjoyment, then a punishment from Us will afflict them."
20:03Painful
20:05115. That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you. Neither you nor your people knew it before this. So be patient; indeed, the [best] outcome is for the righteous.
20:34116. And to the people of 'Ad We sent their brother Hud. He said, "O my people, worship God; you have no deity other than Him. You are nothing but fabricators."
20:56117. O my people, I do not ask you for any reward for it. My reward is only with the One who created me. Do you not understand?
21:13118. O my people, ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in showers.
21:30119. He will increase your strength; do not turn to criminals.
21:54110. They said, “O Hud, you have not brought us any clear proof, and we will not abandon our gods on your word, nor will we believe you.”
22:14111. We can only say that some of our gods have wronged you.
22:26112. He said, “I call God to witness, and you bear witness, that I am innocent of what you associate with Him.”
22:42111. Without him, plot against me all together, and do not give him any respite.
22:54112. I have put my trust in God, my Lord and your Lord.
23:03113. There is no creature that He does not hold by its forelock. Indeed, my Lord is on a straight path.
23:23114. But if they turn away, I have already conveyed to you what I was sent with to you.
23:37115. My Lord will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all.
23:47116. And when Our command came, We saved Hud and those who believed with him by Our mercy, and We saved them from a severe punishment.
24:17117. And that was the people of 'Ad who denied the signs of their Lord and disobeyed His messengers and followed the command of every stubborn tyrant.
24:38118. And they were followed in this world by a curse, and on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, 'Ad disbelieved in their Lord. Unquestionably, away with 'Ad, the people of Hud.
25:01119. And to Thamud We sent their brother Salih. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him."
25:16110. He created you from the earth and settled you therein, so seek His forgiveness and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is near and responsive.
25:38111. They said, “O Salih, you were among us a man of promise before this.”
25:49112. Do you forbid us to worship what our fathers worshipped? Indeed, we are in doubt about what you claim.
26:08113. He said, “O my people, what if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has given me mercy from Himself?”
26:28114. Who will protect me from God if I disobey Him? You only increase my loss.
26:46115. And O my people, this is the she-camel of God, a sign for you. So leave her to graze in God's land.
27:09116. Do not harm her, lest you be seized by an imminent punishment.
27:20117. So they hamstrung her. Then he said, “Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days. That is a promise not to be denied.”
27:37118. So when Our command came, We saved Salih and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us, and We punished them on that day.
27:57119. Indeed, your Lord is the All-Powerful, the Exalted in Might.
28:04110. And the blast seized those who had committed injustice, and they lay lifeless in their homes.
28:14111. As if they had never seen it. Indeed, Thamud disbelieved in their Lord. Away with Thamud!
28:30112. And Our messengers came to Abraham with good tidings. They said, “Peace.” He said, “Peace.” And he did not delay in bringing a roasted calf.
28:54113. When he saw that their hands could not reach for him, he became suspicious of them and felt fear of them.
29:07114. They said, "Fear not. We have been sent to the people of Luf."
29:18115. His wife was standing there, and she laughed. So we gave her the good news of Isaac, and after Isaac, of Jacob.
29:37115. She said, “O Gilta, shall I bear a child when I am old and my husband is an old man? This is a strange thing indeed!”
29:56116. They said, “Are you surprised by the decree of God? May the mercy and blessings of God be upon you, O people of the house. Indeed, He is Praiseworthy and Glorious.”
30:18117. So when he had gone away from Abraham once, and the good news came to him, he argued with us about the people of Luf.
30:33117. Indeed, Abraham was forbearing, compassionate, and ever-returning to God.
30:42118. O Abraham, turn away from this. Indeed, the command of your Lord has come, and indeed, there is coming upon them a punishment that cannot be averted.
31:05119. When Our messengers came to Lot, he was distressed by them and became impatient with them, and said, “This is the day of the grape harvest.”
31:25110. And his people came rushing to him, though before they had been doing evil deeds.
31:40111. He said, “O my people, these are my daughters; they are purer for you. So fear God and do not disgrace me concerning my guests.”
31:58112. Is there not among you a man of sound judgment?
32:11113. They said, “You know that we have no right to your daughters, and you know what we want.”
32:26114. He said, “If only I had power over you or could take refuge in a strong support!”
32:39115. They said, “O Lot, we are messengers of your Lord. They will not reach him.”
32:51116. So take your family by night, and let no one among you look back except your wife.
33:05117. It will befall them as it befell them. Indeed, the morning will come upon them. Is not the morning near?
33:21118. So when Our command came, We turned it upside down and rained down upon it stones of layered, scorching fire.
33:42119. Marked by your Lord, and she is not far from the wrongdoers.
33:53110. And to Midian We sent their brother Shu'ayb
33:58111. He said, “O my people, worship God; you have no deity other than Him.”
34:07112. And do not cheat in weights and measures. Indeed, I see you in a state of well-being, but I fear for you the punishment of an all-encompassing Day.
34:27113. O my people, give full measure and weight in justice and do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption.
34:47114. What God has left for you is better for you, if you are believers.
34:57115. And I am not a digger for you
35:03116. They said, “O Shu’ayb, does your prayer command us to abandon what our fathers worshipped or to do with our wealth as we please?”
35:25117. Indeed, you are the wise and forbearing one.
35:33118. He said, “O my people, what if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and He provides me with a good provision from Him?”
35:49119. I do not wish to do what I forbid you to do.
36:00110. I only desire reform to the best of my ability.
36:06111. My success is only by the grace of God.
36:13112. Upon Him I rely, and to Him I turn in repentance.
36:19113. O my people, let not your opposition to me cause you to suffer a fate like that of the people of Noah, or the people of Hud, or the people of Salih.
36:40114. The people of Lot are not far removed from you.
36:49115. And seek forgiveness from your Lord and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is Merciful and Affectionate.
37:04116. They said, "O Shu'ayb, we do not understand much of what you say, and indeed, we see you among us as weak."
37:26117. Were it not for your fear, we would have stoned you, and you are not dear to us.
37:37118. He said, “O my people, is my god dearer to you than God? And you have turned your backs on him.”
37:54119. Indeed, my Lord is fully aware of what you do.
38:01110. O people, act according to your position, for I am acting
38:10111. You will soon know who will receive a shameful punishment and who is a liar.
38:21112. And wait, for I am watching with you.
38:29113. And when Our command came, We saved Shu'ayb and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us, and the shriek seized those who wronged.
38:51114. So they lay prostrate in their homes.
39:02115. As if they had never sung therein, except for Madyan, as far as Thamud was.
39:14116. And We sent Moses with Our signs and clear authority.
39:24117. To Pharaoh and his chiefs, so they followed Pharaoh's command, but Pharaoh's command was not rightly guided.
39:38118. He will present his people on the Day of Resurrection and lead them into the Fire, and what a wretched destination it is!
39:52119. And they will be followed in this by a curse, and on the Day of Resurrection, what a wretched reward!
40:04110. That is from the news of the villages; we relate it to you; some of them are standing, and some are harvested.
40:20111. We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves.
40:29112. So their gods, whom they invoked besides God, did not avail them at all when the command of your Lord came.
40:49113. And they only increased their destruction.
40:55114. And thus is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the cities while they are committing injustice. Indeed, His seizure is painful and severe.
41:12115. Indeed, in that is a sign for those who fear the punishment of the Hereafter. That is a Day for which mankind will be gathered, and that is a Day witnessed.
41:33116. We only delay it for a specified term.
41:42117. On the Day when no soul will speak except by His permission, some will be wretched and some blessed.
41:55117. As for those who are wretched, they will be in the Fire, wherein they will have sighing and gasping.
42:07118. They will abide therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except as your Lord wills. Indeed, your Lord is an effective doer of what He intends.
42:27119. Unrestricted giving
42:53110. So do not be in doubt about what these people worship.
43:05111. They worship only as their forefathers worshipped before them.
43:17112. And we did not give them their full share without any reduction.
43:26113. And We gave Moses the Scripture, but there was disagreement concerning it.
43:35114. And if it were not for a word that had already gone forth from your Lord, judgment would have been passed between them.
43:44115. And they are in grave doubt about it.
43:51116. And indeed, each of them will be fully recompensed by your Lord for their deeds.
44:02117. He is All-Aware of what they do.
44:08118. So be steadfast as you have been commanded, you and those who have turned back with you, and do not judge
44:19118. He is All-Seeing of what you do.
44:25119. And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest you be touched by the Fire.
44:36110. And you have no protectors besides God.
44:44111. Then you will not be helped
44:48112. And establish prayer at the end
44:53113. Then the day and the early part of the night
44:58114. Good deeds erase bad deeds.
45:05115. That is a reminder for those who remember.
45:10116. And be patient, for God does not waste the reward of the doers of good.
45:18117. If only there had been among the generations before you
45:26118. They are people of sound judgment who forbid corruption on earth.
45:33118. Except for a few of those whom We saved.
45:41119. And those who did wrong followed what they were given of luxury, and they were criminals.
45:52119. And your Lord would not destroy the towns unjustly while their people were righteous.
46:03110. And if your Lord had willed, He could have made mankind one community; but they will continue to differ.
46:19111. Except those on whom your Lord has mercy. And for that He created them. And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled: “I will surely fill Hell with jinn and men all together.”
46:41112. And We relate to you from the news of the messengers that by which We make firm your heart. And in this there has come to you the truth, and an admonition, and a reminder for the believers.
47:06113. And say to those who do not believe
47:12114. Work according to your position; we are working.
47:19115. And wait, for we too are waiting.
47:26115. To God belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth, and to Him all matters are returned. So worship Him and rely upon Him. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.
47:50114. Work on your position
