00:00In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful
00:05Taha. We have not sent down the Qur'an to you to cause you distress.
00:15Except as a reminder for those who fear
00:21A revelation from the One who created the earth and the highest heavens.
00:30The Most Merciful is established on the Throne
00:35To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth and whatever is between them and whatever is beneath the soil.
00:48And if you speak aloud, He knows what is secret and what is hidden.
00:57God, there is no god but He, to Him belong the most beautiful names.
01:07And has the story of Moses reached you?
01:12When he saw a fire, he said to his family, “Stay put, for I have perceived a fire.”
01:34Perhaps I can bring you a burning ember from it, or find guidance at the fire.
01:47When he came to her, he was called, "O Moses!"
01:52I am your Lord, so take off your robe.
02:00You are in the sacred valley of Tuwa
02:05And I have chosen you, so continue as you are inspired.
02:12I am God, there is no god but Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance.
02:25The Hour is coming, I almost conceal it, so that every soul may be recompensed for what it strives for.
02:38Do not let those who do not believe in it and follow their desires turn you away from it, lest you be led astray.
02:49And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?
02:54He said, "It is my staff; I lean on it, I use it to herd my sheep, and I have other uses for it."
03:05He said, "Throw it down, O Moses."
03:10He threw it down, and behold, it was a snake, moving swiftly.
03:16He said, "Take it and don't be afraid, we will restore it to its former glory."
03:23And draw your hand to your side, and it will come out white, without blemish. Another sign
03:35To show you some of Our greatest signs
03:40Go to Pharaoh, for he is a tyrant.
03:46He said, "My Lord, expand my breast for me and ease my task for me."
03:54And the knot is loosened from my tongue
03:58He understands my words
04:01Appoint for me a minister from my family.
04:06Aaron is my brother
04:09I strengthen my resolve with it
04:13And involve him in my affairs
04:17So that we may praise you much
04:20And we remember you often
04:24You were ever watchful over us.
04:28He said, "Your request has been granted, O Moses."
04:34And We have bestowed Our favor upon you once again
04:40When We revealed to your mother what was revealed
04:47If you put him in the coffin, then put him into the river
04:54Let the sea cast him into the shore, so that an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his may take him.
05:03I have bestowed upon you love from Me, and you will be brought up under My eye.
05:12Then your sister will walk by and say, "Shall I show you someone who will take care of him?"
05:22So We returned you to your mother so that her eyes might be comforted and she would not grieve.
05:31And you killed a soul, but We saved you from grief and tested you severely.
05:41I stayed for years among the people of a city, then I came at the appointed time, O Moses.
05:51And I have chosen you for Myself
05:55Go, you and your brother, with My signs, and do not neglect My remembrance.
06:03Go to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed.
06:10Speak to him gently, perhaps he will remember or fear [God].
06:18He said, "Our Lord, we fear that he will overstep his bounds or become tyrannical."
06:29He said, “Do not be afraid; I am with you both, hearing and seeing.”
06:39So go to him and say, “We are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel.”
06:52Do not punish them; we have brought you a sign from your Lord.
07:00Peace be upon those who follow guidance.
07:04It has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon those who deny and turn away.
07:15He said, "Who is your Lord, O Moses?"
07:20Our Lord, who gave everything its form and then guided it
07:29He said, "What about the first crowns?"
07:34He said, "Knowledge of it is with my Lord in a book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets."
07:44He who made the earth a cradle for you and made a path for you therein
07:53And He sent down water from the sky
08:01And He sends down water from the sky, and We produce thereby pairs of various plants.
08:15Eat and graze your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for the first of them.
08:26From it We created you, and into it We will return you, and from it We will bring you forth once again.
08:36We showed him all Our signs, but he denied and refused.
08:44He said, “Have you come to drive us out of our land with your magic, O Moses?”
08:54We will bring you magic like it, so make a date between us that neither you nor we will break, in a place other than
09:09He said, "Your appointment is on the Day of Adornment, and the people will be gathered at forenoon."
09:19Pharaoh then gathered his forces and came
09:26Moses said to them, “Woe to you! Do not fabricate lies against God, lest He destroy you with punishment.”
09:38Those who fabricated lies were disappointed, so they disputed amongst themselves about their affair and kept their secrets.
09:50They said, "These two are magicians who want to drive you out of your land with their magic and destroy your way of life."
10:07So gather your forces and come in ranks
10:14And today, whoever rises above will succeed.
10:18They said, "O Moses, either you throw down your staff, or we will be the first to throw."
10:33He said, "Rather, they throw down," and suddenly their ropes and staffs appeared to him, by their magic, to be moving.
10:47Moses felt a fear within himself
10:53We said, "Fear not, for you are the superior one."
10:59And throw down what is in your right hand; it will swallow up what they have made.
11:05They only devised a magician's trick.
11:09The magician will not succeed wherever he goes.
11:14So the magicians fell down prostrate, saying, “We believe in the Lord of Aaron and Moses.”
11:25He said, "Have you believed in him before I gave you permission?"
11:32He is your master who taught you magic
11:41I will surely cut off your hands and feet on opposite sides.
11:49I will crucify you on the trunks of palm trees.
11:55I will crucify you on the trunks of palm trees.
11:59And you will surely know which of us will suffer more severe punishment and endure longer.
12:07They said, "We will not prefer you over what has come to us of clear proofs and what He has created us with."
12:18So decide what you will decide.
12:23This worldly life is but a fleeting moment.
12:29We have believed in our Lord so that He may forgive us our sins and what you forced us to do of magic.
12:44God is the best and most enduring.
12:49Whoever comes to his Lord as a criminal will have Hell; he will neither die nor live therein.
13:03And whoever comes to Him as a believer who has done righteous deeds - for them are the highest ranks.
13:17Gardens of Eden beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide eternally.
13:25That is the reward of those who purify themselves.
13:31And We inspired Moses, "Take My servants by night and strike for them a dry path through the sea; you will not fear being overtaken nor be afraid."
13:49So Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers, and the sea overwhelmed them, and Pharaoh led his people astray and did not guide them.
14:05O Children of Israel, We delivered you from your enemy and promised you the right side of the mountain
14:26And We sent down to you manna and quails
14:31Eat of the good things We have provided for you, and do not transgress therein, lest My wrath descend upon you.
14:42And whoever incurs my wrath has fallen.
14:48And I am indeed Forgiving to those who repent, believe, do righteous deeds, and then are guided.
14:58What made you hasten from your people, O Moses?
15:05He said, "They are right behind me, and I hastened to You, my Lord, that You may be pleased."
15:16He said, "Indeed, we have tested your people after you, and the night-time storyteller has led them astray."
15:27So Moses returned to his people, angry and grieved.
15:34He said, "O my people, has not your Lord promised you a good promise?"
15:41Did the covenant seem too long to you, or did you intend to incur the wrath of your Lord, so you broke your promise to Me?
15:56They said, "We did not break our promise to you by our own power, but we were burdened with sins."
16:12But we carried burdens of the people's adornments and threw them away, and so did the storyteller.
16:24So he brought out for them a calf, a mere body that lowed, and they said, “This is your god and the god of Moses, but he forgot.”
16:38Do they not see that he does not return to them a word, nor does he possess for them any harm or benefit?
16:51And Aaron had already told them, “O my people, you have only been tested by him, and your Lord is the Most Merciful, so follow me and obey my command.”
17:11They said, "We will not cease worshipping it until Moses returns to us."
17:21He said, "O Aaron, what prevented you, when you saw them go astray, from following me? Did you disobey my command?"
17:33He said, "O son of my mother, do not seize me by my beard or my head."
17:40I feared that you would say, "You have caused division among the Children of Israel, and you did not heed my words."
17:53He said, "What is your story, O Samiri?" He said, "I perceived what they did not perceive, so I seized a handful of dust from the messenger's footprint and threw it away. Thus I was tempted."
18:12myself
18:13He said, "Go, for you will have the right to say 'Do not touch me' in this life, and you have an appointment that you will not break."
18:26And look to your God, to whom you have remained devoted.
18:37We will burn it and then scatter it in Yemen, alas.
18:47Your God is only God, there is no god but He, who encompasses all things in knowledge.
18:59We also relate to you some of the news of what has preceded, and We have given you from Our presence a reminder.
19:12Whoever turns away from it will bear a burden on the Day of Resurrection.
19:20He said, “A religion in which there is no blame, and it will be a terrible burden for them on the Day of Resurrection.”
19:29On the Day the Trumpet is blown, We will gather the criminals, their eyes blue with terror.
19:38They whisper among themselves, "You stayed only ten [days]."
19:45We know best what they say, for the most exemplary among them says, "You have only stayed a day."
19:56They ask you about the mountains, so say, "My Lord will pulverize them completely."
20:04He leaves it a barren wasteland
20:09You will not see in it any crookedness or unevenness
20:15On that day they will follow the caller, there is no crookedness in him.
20:22And all voices will be hushed before the Most Merciful, so that you will hear nothing but a whisper.
20:29On that Day, intercession will not avail except for those whom the Most Merciful has permitted and whose words He has approved.
20:41He knows what is before them and what is behind them, while they do not encompass Him in knowledge.
20:50And faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence.
20:56He who bears injustice will be disappointed.
21:00And whoever does righteous deeds while being a believer will not fear injustice or oppression.
21:11And thus We have revealed it as an Arabic Qur'an and explained therein the warnings so that they may fear Allah or it may cause them to remember Him.
21:27Exalted is God, the True King
21:32Do not hasten with the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you.
21:42And say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge."
21:46We had already made a covenant with Adam before, but he forgot; and We did not find in him determination.
21:57And when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," they prostrated, except for Iblis, who refused.
22:09So We said, "O Adam, this is an adversary to you and your wife. Let him not expel you from Paradise so that you become miserable."
22:24You will not go hungry or naked therein.
22:31And that you will neither thirst nor suffer heat therein
22:37Then Satan whispered to him, saying, “O Adam, shall I show you the tree of deceit and a kingdom that will never perish?”
22:49So they ate of it, and their private parts became visible to them, and they began to cover themselves with leaves from Paradise.
23:03And Adam disobeyed his Lord and went astray
23:08Then his Lord chose him, accepted his repentance, and guided him.
23:15He said, “Descend from it, all of you, some of you enemies to others.”
23:23If guidance comes to you from Me, then whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray nor suffer.
23:36And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a life of hardship, and We will raise him up on the Day of Resurrection blind.
23:50He said, “My Lord, why have You raised me blind when I was seeing?”
23:59He said, “Likewise Our signs came to you, but you forgot them; and thus today you will be forgotten.”
24:10And thus We will recompense those who transgress and do not believe in the signs of their Lord.
24:19And the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe and lasting.
24:25Have they not been guided by how many generations We destroyed before them, who walk in their dwellings?
24:36Indeed, in that are signs for the first of them
24:44Had it not been for a word that had already been given by your Lord, it would have been inevitable and a predetermined time.
24:56So be patient with what they say, and glorify your Lord with praise before the rising of the sun and before its setting.
25:09And glorify Him during the night and at the ends of the day, that you may be pleased.
25:21Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of them, [its being but] the splendor of worldly life by which We test them.
25:39And your Lord's provision is better and more lasting.
25:45And enjoin prayer upon your family and be steadfast in it. We do not ask you for provision; We provide for you. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous.
26:01They said, “Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord?” Has there not come to them clear evidence of what is in the earlier scriptures?
26:17And if We had not destroyed them with a punishment before, they would have said, "Our Lord
26:31They would have said, "Our Lord, why did You not send us a messenger so we could have followed Your verses before we were humiliated and disgraced?"
26:49Say, "Every one is waiting; so wait, for you will know who are the companions of the straight path and who is rightly guided."
