00:00113. He who wills - and God is all-Encompassing and Knowing
00:08114. Those who spend their wealth in the cause of God and then do not repay what they have spent with scorn or harm—their reward is with their Lord.
00:36115. They will have no fear, nor will they grieve.
00:42116. Kind words and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury. And Allah is Self-Sufficient and Forbearing.
01:02117. O you who have believed, do not invalidate your charities with reminders [of your generosity] or injury.
01:24118. For you is he who spends his wealth to be seen by people and does not believe in God and the Last Day
01:38119. His example is like that of a smooth rock covered with dust, which then falls on it and leaves it bare.
01:53110. They have no power over anything they have earned, and God does not guide the disbelieving people.
02:08111. And the example of those who spend their wealth seeking the pleasure of God and for the confirmation of their souls is like a garden on a hillside.
02:36112. If it and its son are afflicted, then it yields double its produce. If it and its son are not afflicted, then it is invalid.
02:49113. And God is All-Seeing of what you do.
02:55114. Would any of you like to have a garden of palm trees and grapevines beneath which rivers flow?
03:13115. He has therein all kinds of fruit, and old age has overtaken him.
03:37115. He grew old and had weak offspring, and a whirlwind of fire struck them, and they were burned.
03:57116. Thus does God make clear to you the signs so that you may be freed
04:07117. O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned and from that which We have produced for you from the earth
04:30118. And do not aim for the bad part of it to spend while you would not take it yourselves except with closed eyes.
04:47118. And know that God is Self-Sufficient and Praiseworthy.
04:56119. Satan brings you back to poverty and commands you to commit immoral acts.
05:08119. May God grant you forgiveness and grace.
05:16110. And God is All-Encompassing and All-Knowing
05:21111. He grants wisdom to whomever He wills.
05:27111. And whoever is given wisdom has certainly been given much good.
05:37112. And none will remember except those of understanding.
05:45111. Whatever you spend or vow, God knows it.
06:02112. And the wrongdoers will have no helpers.
06:08113. If you give charity openly, it is a good thing.
06:16113. But if you neglect it and give it to the poor, it is better for you.
06:27114. And He will expiate for you some of your sins.
06:35115. And God is All-Aware of what you do.
06:41116. It is not for you to guide them, but God guides whom He wills.
06:52117. And whatever good you spend is for yourselves.
07:01118. And whatever good you spend will be repaid to you in full, and you will not be wronged.
07:22118. For the poor who are confined in the cause of God
07:31119. They cannot strike the earth
07:37110. They cannot strike the ground
07:44111. The ignorant think them rich because of their modesty.
07:51111. You will recognize them by their appearance; they do not beg from people importunately.
08:07112. And whatever good you spend, God is All-Knowing of it.
08:18113. Those who spend their money night and day, secretly and openly
08:33114. They will have their reward.
08:40115. They will be with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
08:50116. Those who consume interest will not rise except as they rise
08:58117. The one whom Satan seizes through possession
09:03118. That is because they said, “Trade is just like usury.”
09:12118. God has permitted trade and forbidden usury.
09:18119. So whoever receives an admonition from his Lord
09:25119. So he is finished, and he has what he has already done, and his affair is with God.
09:33110. And whoever returns [to disbelief] - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.
09:43111. God destroys usury and increases charity.
09:50112. And God does not love all unbelieving Athenians.
09:57113. Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds and establish prayer and give zakah will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
10:18114. O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of interest, if you should be believers.
10:35115. But if you do not, then be warned of war from Allah and His Messenger. And if you repent, you may have your principal – neither wronging nor being wronged.
10:55116. And if he is wealthy, then grant him time until ease. But if you give charity, it is better for you, if you only knew.
11:14117. And fear the Day when you will be returned to God. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.
11:31118. O you who have believed, when you contract a debt for a specified term, write it down.
11:50119. Let a scribe write between you the excuse, and let no scribe refuse to write as God has taught him. Let him write, and let the one who owes the debt dictate, and let him fear God.
12:14His Lord, and He does not withhold anything from him.
12:18110. If the one who owes the debt is foolish or weak, or unable to dictate it, then let his guardian dictate it justly.
12:36111. And call to witness two witnesses from among your men. And if there are not two men [available], then a man and two women from those whom you accept as witnesses - so that if one of the women errs, then the other may remind her.
13:02The other
13:03112. The witnesses should not refuse when called upon, nor should they tire of writing it down, whether small or large, until its appointed time.
13:23113. That is more just in the sight of God and more reliable as evidence, and sons about whom there is no doubt.
13:36114. Unless it is a present transaction which you conduct among yourselves, there is no blame upon you if you do not record it.
13:54115. And have witnesses when you make a transaction. Let no scribe or witness be harmed.
14:09116. And if you do so, it is a transgression on your part. And fear God, and God will teach you. And God is Knowing of all things.
14:29117. If you are on a journey and cannot find a scribe, a pledge is required.
14:43118. If one of you entrusts something to another, let him who is entrusted fulfill his trust and fear God, his Lord.
14:57119. Do not conceal testimony
15:01110. And whoever conceals it, his heart is sinful.
15:10111. And God is All-Knowing of what you do.
15:15112. To God belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.
15:21113. Whether you reveal what is in your hearts or conceal it, God will bring you to account for it.
15:33113. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills, and God is over all things competent.
15:49114. The Messenger believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and so did the believers.
16:01115. Everyone believes in God, His angels, His books, and His messengers. We make no distinction between any of His messengers.
16:16116. And they said, "We have heard and obeyed. We seek Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the final destination."
16:27117. God does not burden a soul beyond its capacity.
16:35117. She will have what she has earned, and she will bear what she has incurred.
16:41118. Our Lord, do not hold us accountable if we forget or make a mistake.
16:52118. Our Lord, do not burden us with a load like the one You burdened those before us.
17:05119. Our Lord, do not burden us with what we cannot bear.
17:14110. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us.
17:20111. You are our Master, so grant us victory over the disbelieving people.
