00:00:06112. O you who have believed, fulfill your contracts.
00:00:16113. The grazing livestock has been made lawful for you, except for that which is recited to you, except for hunting while you are in a state of ihram. Indeed, Allah decrees what He wills.
00:00:38114. O you who have believed, do not violate the rites of God or the sacred month or the sacrificial animals or the garlands
00:00:57115. Neither the necklaces nor the pilgrims to the Sacred House seek bounty from their Lord and His pleasure.
00:01:17116. And when you are free from the restrictions of pilgrimage, then hunt. But let not the hatred of a people for having obstructed you from the Sacred Mosque lead you to transgress.
00:01:38117. Cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and transgression.
00:01:50118. And fear God, for God is severe in punishment.
00:01:59119. Forbidden to you are carrion, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than God, and [animals] strangled, beaten to death, fallen from a height, or gored to death.
00:02:28111. And do not eat the captives except what you have slaughtered.
00:02:43112. And what was sacrificed on altars, and that you seek divination by arrows
00:02:52113. That is wickedness
00:02:56114. Today those who disbelieve have despaired of your religion, so do not fear them, but fear Me.
00:03:08115. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion
00:03:24115. But whoever is forced by extreme hunger, without intending to commit sin, then indeed, God is Forgiving and Merciful.
00:03:39116. They ask you what is lawful for them. Say, "Lawful for you are good things."
00:03:51117. And what you have taught of hunting animals that are trained
00:04:06118. You teach them from what God has taught you.
00:04:13119. So eat of what We have caught for you, and mention the name of Allah over it, and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is swift in reckoning.
00:04:35119. Today I have made lawful for you all good things. The food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them.
00:04:53110. And [lawful to you in marriage are] chaste women from among the believers and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you.
00:05:12111. If you give them their wages while they are chaste
00:05:31112. Chaste, not committing fornication, nor having two wives
00:05:43113. And whoever professes faith, his deeds will be rendered worthless, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.
00:05:59114. O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer, put your faces and your hands to the elbows
00:06:17115. Wipe your heads and your feet up to the ankles.
00:06:33116. And if you are in a state of ritual impurity, then purify yourselves.
00:06:41117. If you are sick or on a journey, or if one of you comes from the toilet
00:06:59118. Or if you have sexual relations with women and find no water, then perform tayammum (dry ablution) with clean earth.
00:07:19119. Wipe your faces and hands with it
00:07:34110. God does not intend to impose hardship upon you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you.
00:07:55111. And that He may perfect His favor upon you, so that you may be grateful.
00:08:06111. And remember God’s favor upon you and His covenant with you
00:08:18112. When you said, “We hear and obey, and fear God”
00:08:28113. God is All-Knowing of what is in the hearts.
00:08:36114. O you who have believed, be steadfast in justice for God.
00:08:52114. And let not the hatred of a people prevent you from being just.
00:09:04115. Make it more just and closer to righteousness
00:09:10116. And fear God. Indeed, God is All-Aware of what you do.
00:09:20117. God has promised forgiveness to those who believe and do righteous deeds.
00:09:33118. And a great reward
00:09:36118. And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs - those are the companions of Hellfire.
00:09:50119. O you who have believed, remember the favor of Allah upon you
00:10:02110. For there are some people who intend to stretch out their hands against you
00:10:11111. For there are some people who intend to stretch out their hands against you
00:10:23112. And fear God, and in God let the believers put their trust.
00:10:41113. And God took a covenant from the children of Israel
00:10:51114. And We sent forth from among them twelve leaders
00:10:58115. And God said, “I am with you.”
00:11:05114. If you establish prayer and give zakat
00:11:13115. You believed in my messengers and excused them.
00:11:20116. And you have lent to God a good loan
00:11:26117. And you have lent to God a good loan

00:13:32113. They forgot a portion of what they were reminded of, so We stirred up enmity and hatred among them until the Day of Resurrection.
00:13:54114. And God will tell them what they have been doing.
00:14:04115. O People of the Scripture, Our Messenger has come to you, making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture.
00:14:26116. And He pardons much.
00:14:44117. There has come to you from God a light and a clear Book.
00:14:57118. God guides those who follow His pleasure to the paths of peace and brings them out of darkness into light by His permission.
00:15:18119. And He guides them to a straight path
00:15:38110. Those who say that God is the Messiah, the son of Mary, have certainly disbelieved.
00:15:50111. Say, "Who could prevent God at all if He willed to destroy the Messiah, the son of Mary, and his mother?"
00:16:06111. To God belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them; He creates what He wills.
00:16:26112. And God is capable of all things.
00:16:33113. The Jews and Christians say, “We are the children of God and His beloved.”
00:16:47113. Say, "He does not punish you for your sins, but you are human beings from among His creation."
00:17:03114. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills
00:17:14115. To God belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the final destination.
00:17:27115. O People of the Scripture, Our Messenger has come to you, making things clear to you after a period of time between messengers, lest you say
00:17:44116. That you say, "No messenger or warner came to us," when in fact a messenger and a warner did come to you.
00:18:03117. And God is capable of all things.
00:18:11118. And when Moses said to his people, “O my people, remember the favor of God upon you when He appointed prophets among you and made you kings.”
00:18:27118. And He made you kings and gave you what He did not give to anyone else in the world.
00:18:39119. O people, remember the Holy Land which God has assigned to you, and do not turn back, lest you become losers.
00:18:56111. They said, “O Moses, indeed within it are a people of immense strength, and indeed we will never enter it until they leave it.”
00:19:12112. And we will not enter it until they leave it; but if they leave it, then we will enter.
00:19:26113. Two men from among those who feared God and upon whom He had bestowed favor said, “Enter upon them through the gate, for when you have entered it, you will be victorious.”
00:19:43114. And put your trust in God, if you are believers.
00:19:53115. They said, “O Moses, we will never enter it as long as they are in it; so go, you and your Lord, and fight. We are staying right here.”
00:20:17116. He said, “My Lord, I have no power except over myself and my brother, so separate us from the disobedient people.”
00:20:32117. He said, “It is forbidden to them for forty years, during which they will wander about in the land. So do not grieve over the disobedient people.”
00:20:49118. And recite to them the true story of the two sons of Adam, when they both offered a sacrifice, and it was accepted from one of them but not from the other. He said, "I will surely kill you."
00:21:09119. He said, "I will surely kill you." He said, "Indeed, Allah only accepts from the righteous."
00:21:20110. If you stretch out your hand to kill me, I will not stretch out my hand to kill you. Indeed, I fear God, Lord of the worlds.
00:21:41111. I want you to bear my sin and your own sin, so that you will be among the inhabitants of the Fire. That is the recompense of the wrongdoers.
00:22:01112. His own soul tempted him to kill his brother, so he killed him and became one of the losers.
00:22:11113. Then God sent a raven searching in the ground to show him how to bury his brother's body.
00:22:23114. He said, “Woe to me! Am I not even able to be like this raven and bury my brother’s body?” So he became one of the regretful.
00:22:39115. For this reason We decreed to the Israelites that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land
00:22:58116. It is as if he had killed all of humanity, and whoever saves a life
00:23:22117. Our messengers came to them with clear proofs, yet many of them, even after that, are transgressors on earth.
00:23:46118. The punishment for those who wage war against God and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption in the land is that they should be killed.
00:24:02119. That they be killed, or be crucified, or have their hands and feet cut off on opposite sides, or be banished from the land
00:24:19110. That is a disgrace for them in this world, and in the Hereafter they will have a great punishment.
00:24:30111. Except for those who repent before you apprehend them. Know that God is Forgiving and Merciful.
00:24:46112. O you who have believed, fear Allah and seek the means of approach to Him and strive in His cause that you may succeed
00:25:04113. Those who disbelieve, even if they possessed all that is in the earth and as much again with it, would not be able to ransom themselves with it from the punishment of the Day of Resurrection.
00:25:22Accept from them, and for them is a painful punishment.
00:25:28114. They will want to get out of the Fire, but they will not get out of it, and they will have a lasting punishment.
00:25:43115. As for the thief, male or female, cut off their hands as a recompense for what they have earned. This is a punishment from God, and God is Exalted in Might and Wise.
00:26:02116. But whoever repents after his wrongdoing and amends his ways, then indeed, God will accept his repentance. God is Forgiving and Merciful.
00:26:18117. Do you not know that to God belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth? He punishes whom He wills and forgives whom He wills, and God is over all things competent.
00:26:42118. O Messenger, do not grieve like those who hasten to disbelief, those who say, "We believe," with their mouths, but their hearts have not believed.
00:27:04119. And among those who are given to falsehood are listeners to lies, listeners to other people who have not come.
00:27:17110. They distort the word from some of its places.
00:27:24111. They say, “If you are given this, take it; but if you are not given it, beware.”
00:27:33112. And whoever God wills to put to trial, you will have no power to help him against God at all.
00:27:43113. Those whose hearts God does not intend to purify will have fear in this world and a great punishment in the Hereafter.
00:28:01114. They are listeners to falsehood and devourers of magic. So if they come to you, judge between them or turn away from them. And if you turn away from them, they will not harm you at all.
00:28:25115. And if you judge, judge between them with justice. Indeed, God loves those who act justly.
00:28:37116. And how can they judge you when they have the Torah, in which is God’s judgment, and then turn away after that?
00:28:51117. And those are not believers.
00:28:58118. Indeed, We sent down the Torah, in which was guidance and light.
00:29:08119. The prophets who submitted to God, the rabbis, and the scholars judged by it for the Jews, according to what they were entrusted with of the Book of God.
00:29:24110. And they were witnesses against him.
00:29:38111. So do not fear people, but fear Me, and do not exchange My verses for a small price.
00:29:49112. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the disbelievers.
00:30:02113. And We prescribed for them therein that the life is for the life, the eye for the eye, the nose for the nose, and the ear for the ear.
00:30:18114. An ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and wounds are subject to retaliation.
00:30:27115. Whoever gives it in charity, it will be an expiation for him.
00:30:34116. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.
00:30:46117. And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming what had come before him of the Torah.
00:31:00118. And We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light, confirming what came before it of the Torah and guidance.
00:31:14119. And an admonition to the righteous
00:31:18110. Let the people of the Gospel judge according to what God has revealed in it.
00:31:28111. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient.
00:31:40112. And We have revealed to you the Book in truth, confirming what was before it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it.
00:31:56113. So judge between them according to what God has revealed.
00:32:05114. And do not follow their desires away from the truth that has come to you.
00:32:15115. For each of you We have appointed a law and a way of life.
00:32:23116. Had God willed, He would have made you one nation, but He tests you in what He has given you; so strive for good deeds.
00:32:41117. To God is your return, all of you, and He will inform you of that wherein you used to differ.
00:32:53118. And judge between them by what God has revealed and do not follow their desires.
00:33:05119. And beware of them lest they tempt you away from some of what God has revealed to you.
00:33:19110. But if they turn away, then know that God does not intend to afflict them with some of their sins.
00:33:31111. And indeed, many of the people are transgressors.
00:33:38112. Do they seek the judgment of ignorance?
00:33:43113. And who is better than God in judgment for a people who are certain?
00:33:51114. O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are allies of one another.
00:34:12115. And whoever among you allies himself with them - then indeed, he is one of them.
00:34:20116. God does not guide the wrongdoing people.
00:34:26117. You see those in whose hearts is a disease hastening towards them, saying, “We fear that a misfortune may befall us.”
00:34:43117. Perhaps God will bring about a victory or a command from Him, and they will become regretful for what they concealed within themselves.
00:35:01118. And those who believed will say, “Are these the ones who swore by God their strongest oaths that they were with you? Their deeds have become worthless, and they have become losers.”
00:35:24119. O you who have believed, whoever of you reverts from his religion - Allah will bring forth [in place of them] a people He will love and who will love Him.
00:35:50110. Mighty against the disbelievers
00:35:58111. They are mighty against the disbelievers, striving in the cause of God and not fearing the blame of those who disbelieve.
00:36:11112. That is the bounty of God; He gives it to whom He wills.
00:36:18113. And God is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing
00:36:23114. Your only allies are Allah, His Messenger, and those who believe—those who establish prayer and give zakah while they are righteous.
00:36:39115. And whoever takes Allah, His Messenger and those who have believed as allies - indeed, the party of Allah will be the victors.
00:36:52116. O you who have believed, do not take as your religion those who make a mockery and a game.
00:37:05117. Those who were given the Scripture before you and the disbelievers are allies
00:37:23118. And fear God, if you are believers.
00:37:31119. And when you call to prayer, they take it as a distraction and a game. That is because they are a people who do not understand.
00:37:45119. Say, "O People of the Scripture, do you resent us except for the fact that we have believed in God and what was revealed to us and what was revealed before?"
00:38:13110. And most of you are transgressors
00:38:18111. Say, "Shall I inform you of something worse than that as a reward from God? Those whom God has cursed and with whom He became angry and made some of them apes and pigs and slaves
00:38:40tyrant
00:38:41112. Those are in a worse position and further astray from the right path.
00:38:53113. And when they come to you, they say, “We have believed,” while they entered with disbelief and left with it.
00:39:06114. And God knows best what they were concealing.
00:39:12115. And you see many of them hastening towards sin and transgression and eating the healthy
00:39:23116. How evil were their deeds!
00:39:28117. The Jews said, “God’s hand is chained.”
00:39:51117. Their hands were chained and they were cursed for what they said.
00:39:57118. Rather, his hands are outstretched; he spends as he pleases.
00:40:05119. And what has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief.
00:40:20119. And We cast among them enmity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection
00:40:32110. Whenever they kindled a fire for war, God extinguished it.
00:40:40111. And they strive to spread corruption in the land.
00:40:45112. And God does not love the corrupt.
00:40:49113. If only the People of the Scripture had believed and feared Allah, We would have removed from them their misdeeds and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure.
00:41:07114. If only they had upheld the Torah and the Gospel and what was revealed to them from their Lord, they would have eaten from above them and from beneath their feet.
00:41:27115. Among them are a moderate community, but many of them do evil deeds.
00:41:40116. O Messenger, convey what has been revealed to you from your Lord.
00:41:53117. And if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
00:42:11118. Say, "O People of the Scripture, you are not upon anything until you uphold the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord."
00:42:30119. And what has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people.
00:42:50110. Indeed, those who believed and those who disbelieved and the Sabians and the Christians - those who believed in God and the Last Day and did righteousness - no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they be.
00:43:18They grieve
00:43:19111. We took a covenant from the Israelites and sent messengers to them.
00:43:32112. Whenever a messenger came to them with something their souls did not desire, they would deny some of them and kill others.
00:43:49113. They thought there would be no trial, so they became blind and deaf. Then God turned to them in forgiveness, but many of them became blind and deaf again. And God is All-Seeing of what they do.
00:44:15114. Those who say that God is the Messiah, the son of Mary, have certainly disbelieved.
00:44:25115. And Jesus said, “O children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord.”
00:44:37116. Whoever associates anything with God, God has forbidden him Paradise and the abode of Hell.
00:44:50117. And the wrongdoers will have no helpers.
00:44:56118. Those who say that God is the third of three have certainly disbelieved.
00:45:05119. There is no god but one God.
00:45:13110. And if they do not desist from what they say, a painful punishment will surely befall those among them who disbelieve.
00:45:26111. Will they not repent to God and seek His forgiveness?
00:45:33112. And God is Forgiving and Merciful
00:45:37113. The Messiah, son of Mary, was but a messenger; other messengers had passed away before him.
00:45:47114. His mother and his friend were eating food.
00:45:55115. See how We make the signs clear to them, then see how they are deluded.
00:46:07116. Say, "Do you worship besides Allah that which has no power to harm or benefit you?"
00:46:18117. And Allah is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing
00:46:23118. Say, O People of the Scripture, do not exceed the limits in your religion beyond what is right, and do not follow the desires of a people who went astray before.
00:46:43119. And they led many astray and deviated from the right path.
00:47:02110. Those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of David and Jesus, son of Mary.
00:47:16111. That is because they disobeyed and were transgressors.
00:47:23112. They did not forbid one another from committing evil.
00:47:31113. How evil were their deeds!
00:47:36113. You see many of them taking as allies those who disbelieve.
00:47:45114. How evil is that which they have put forth for themselves, that God is angry with them, and in the punishment they will abide eternally.
00:47:57115. If they had believed in God and the Prophet and what was revealed to them, they would have taken them as allies. But many of them are defiantly disobedient.
00:48:19116. You will surely find the most hostile of people towards the believers to be the Jews and those who associate others with Allah.
00:48:32117. And you will surely find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians."
00:48:46118. That is because among them are priests and monks, and they are not arrogant.
00:48:58119. And when they hear what has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of what they have come to know of the truth.
00:49:15110. They say, “Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses.”
00:49:26111. And why should we not believe in God and what has come to us of the truth, and hope that our Lord will admit us among the righteous people?
00:49:42112. So God rewarded them for what they said with gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide eternally. That is the reward of the doers of good.
00:50:02113. And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs - those are the companions of Hellfire.
00:50:15114. O you who have believed, do not forbid the good things which Allah has made lawful to you and do not transgress.
00:50:30115. God does not love the aggressors.
00:50:36116. Eat of what God has provided for you that is lawful and good.
00:50:44117. And fear God, in whom you believe.
00:50:52118. God will not hold you accountable for unintentional oaths, but He will hold you accountable for oaths you have made in earnest.
00:51:08119. Its expiation is feeding ten poor people with the average of what you feed your own families, or clothing them, or freeing a slave.
00:51:24119. But if he cannot find [an animal], then he must fast for three days.
00:51:31110. That is the expiation for your oaths when you swear.
00:51:37111. And keep your oaths
00:51:42112. Thus does God make clear to you His signs so that you may doubt
00:51:50113. O you who have believed
00:51:58114. Indeed, wine, gambling, idols, and divination are abominations from the work of Satan, so avoid them so that you may be successful.
00:52:14115. Satan only wants to cause enmity and hatred among you through intoxicants and gambling, and to hinder you from remembering God and from prayer. So are you
00:52:39Members
00:52:41116. Obey God and obey the Messenger and beware. But if you turn away, then know that Our Messenger is only responsible for clear conveyance.
00:53:00117. There is no blame upon those who believe and do righteous deeds for what they have eaten [in the past] if they fear Allah and believe and do righteous deeds, then fear Allah and believe.
00:53:22118. Then fear God and do good; and God loves those who do good.
00:53:36119. O you who have believed, God will surely test you with something of the game that your hands and spears can reach, so that God may know who fears Him unseen.
00:54:00110. Whoever transgresses after that will have a painful punishment.
00:54:08111. O you who have believed, do not kill game while you are burning
00:54:19112. And whoever among you kills him intentionally, the penalty is an equivalent of what he killed from livestock, as judged by just men among you.
00:54:45111. Should he go to the Kaaba, or offer expiation by feeding the poor, or fasting the equivalent of that, so that he may taste the consequences of his actions?
00:55:00112. May God forgive what has passed.
00:55:05113. And whoever returns to it, God will take vengeance on him.
00:55:11114. And Allah is Mighty and Vengeful
00:55:17115. Lawful to you is the game of the sea and its food as provision for yourselves and for travelers.
00:55:27116. Hunting on land is forbidden to you while you are in a state of ihram.
00:55:34117. And fear God, to whom you will be gathered.
00:55:41117. God made the Kaaba, the Sacred House, a sanctuary for people, and the sacred month, and the sacrificial animals, and the eternal ones.
00:55:58118. This is so that you may know that God knows what is in the heavens and what is on the earth, and that God is All-Knowing of everything.
00:56:16119. Know that God is severe in punishment, and that God is forgiving and merciful.
00:56:29110. The Messenger's duty is only to convey the message, and God knows what you reveal and what you conceal.
00:56:41111. Say, "The evil and the good are not equal, even though the abundance of evil may impress you."
00:56:51112. So fear God, O you who possess understanding, that you may be successful.
00:57:00113. O you who have believed, do not ask about things which, if they were shown to you, would distress you. But if you ask about them while the Qur’an is being revealed, it will be shown to you in the best of ways.
00:57:23God is All-Forgiving and Most Compassionate.
00:57:29114. A people before you asked for it, then they became disbelievers in it.
00:57:40115. God has not instituted any Bahirah, Sa'ibah, Wasilah, or Ham, but those who disbelieve invent lies against God.
00:58:02116. But those who disbelieve invent lies against God, and most of them do not understand.
00:58:15117. And when it is said to them, "Come to what God has revealed and to the Messenger," they say, "Sufficient for us is that upon which we found our fathers."
00:58:33117. Even if their fathers knew nothing and were not guided
00:58:45118. O you who have believed, upon you is [responsibility for] yourselves. Those who have gone astray will not harm you when you have been guided. To Allah is your return all together; then He will inform you of what you used to do.
00:59:09You work
00:59:10119. O you who have believed, when death approaches one of you and you are making a will, let there be two witnesses from among you, or two others from among you.
00:59:28Other than you
00:59:29110. If you travel through the land and the calamity of death strikes you
00:59:47111. You detain them after the prayer, and they swear by God that if you have any doubt, we will not buy it for any price, even if it is a close relative.
01:00:03112. And we will not conceal the testimony of God, for then we would be among the sinners.
01:00:19113. If it is found that they have incurred guilt, then two others shall take their place from among those against whom the first two were incurred, and they shall swear by God
01:00:40114. They both swear by God that our testimony is more truthful than theirs, and that we have not transgressed; indeed, we would then be among the wrongdoers.
01:00:57115. That is more likely to make them give the testimony properly or to fear that oaths will be refuted after their oaths.
01:01:18116. And fear God and listen. God does not guide the disobedient people.
01:01:27117. On the Day when God will gather the messengers and say, “What was your response?” They will say, “We have no knowledge. Indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen.”

01:03:17115. The disciples said, “O Jesus, son of Mary, is your Lord able to send down to us a table [spread with food] from heaven?”
01:03:35116. He said, "Fear God, if you are believers."
01:03:43117. They said, “We wish to eat from it and have our hearts reassured, and know that you have told us the truth, and be among its witnesses.”
01:03:59118. Jesus, son of Mary, said: “O God, our Lord, send down to us a table spread with food from heaven to be a feast for us.”
01:04:17119. For the first of us and the last of us, and a sign from You, and provide for us, for You are the best of providers.
01:04:32110. God said, “I will send it down to you, but whoever among you disbelieves afterwards, I will punish him with a punishment with which I have not punished anyone in the worlds.”

01:06:15118. If You punish them, they are Your servants; and if You forgive them, indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
01:06:29119. God said, “This is the Day when the truthful will benefit from their truthfulness. For them are gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever.”
01:06:49110. May God be pleased with them and they with Him. That is the great triumph.
01:06:57111. To God belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them, and He is over all things competent.
