00:00111. In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
00:05112. A thousand Lamry
00:11113. These are the verses of the Book and a clear Qur'an.
00:17114. Perhaps those who disbelieved would be turned back if they had been Muslims.
00:24115. Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be deluded by false hope; they will soon know.
00:33116. And We did not destroy any town except that it had a known decree.
00:44117. No nation can outpace its appointed time, nor can they delay it.
00:52118. And they said, "O you to whom the Reminder has been sent down, indeed you are mad."
01:02119. Why don't you bring us the angels, if you are truthful?
01:13110. We do not send down the angels except with the truth, and they would not then be given respite.
01:25111. Indeed, We have sent down the Reminder, and indeed, We will be its Guardian.
01:35112. And We have already sent messengers before you to the sects of the former peoples.
01:43113. And no messenger came to them except that they ridiculed him.
01:52114. We will also work it in the hearts of criminals.
01:59115. They do not believe in it, and the precedent of the former peoples has already passed.
02:07116. And even if We opened for them a gate from the sky, and they continued therein being exposed
02:18117. They would have said, “Our eyes have only been dazzled; rather, we are a people bewitched.”
02:30118. And We have placed constellations in the sky and beautified it for the observers.
02:42119. And We protected it from every accursed devil.
02:49110. Except for one who steals a hearing, and is pursued by a piercing flame.
02:57111. And the earth We have spread out and placed therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein all things in due proportion.
03:11112. And We have made therein means of livelihood for you and for those for whom you are not providers.
03:20113. There is nothing but that its depositories are with Us, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure.
03:37114. And We send the fertilizing winds and send down water from the sky and give it to you to drink, and you are not its keepers.
03:56115. And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the inheritors.
04:05116. And We have already known those of you who came before, and We have already known those who came after.
04:16117. And indeed, your Lord will gather them together. He is All-Wise, All-Knowing.
04:25118. And We have certainly created man out of clay from altered mud.
04:34119. And Paradise We created before from smokeless fire
04:46110. And when your Lord said to the angels, “Indeed, I am going to create a human being out of sounding clay, from mud molded into shape.”
05:02111. So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down prostrating yourselves before him.
05:12112. And all the angels prostrated themselves together
05:19113. Except for Iblis, who refused to be among those who prostrated.
05:28114. He said, “O Ibnis, why are you not among those who prostrate?”
05:38115. He said, “I would never prostrate myself before a human being whom You created out of clay, out of mud molded into shape.”
05:49116. He said, “Then get out of it, for you are accursed.”
05:55117. He said, “My Lord, then grant me respite until the Day they are resurrected.”
06:09117. He said, “You are among those granted respite.”
06:15118. Until the appointed time
06:20119. He said, “My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will give them refuge, all of them.”
06:33119. Except for Your chosen servants among them
06:39110. He said, “This is a straight path towards Me.”
06:44111. Indeed, My servants - you have no authority over them, except for those who follow you of the misguided.
06:55111. And indeed, Hell is their promised place, all of them.
07:02112. It has seven gates, each gate having a divided section.
07:11113. Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and springs.
07:19114. Enter it in peace and security.
07:23115. And We will remove whatever rancor is in their hearts, [making them] brothers, on thrones facing one another.
07:35116. Victory will not touch them therein, nor will they be expelled from it.
07:44117. Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful
07:53118. And that my punishment is the most painful punishment.
07:59119. And tell them about Abraham's guest
08:04119. When they entered upon him and said, “Peace,” he said, “Indeed, we are afraid of you.”
08:14110. They said, “Do not be afraid. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy.”
08:22111. He said, “You have given me good tidings even though old age has overtaken me. So what is it that you give me good tidings for?”
08:32112. They said, “We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be among those who despair.”
08:41113. He said, “And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those who are astray?”
08:53114. He said, "What is your mission, O messengers?"
08:59115. They said, “We have been sent to a criminal people.”
09:10116. Except for the family of Lot; indeed, We will save them all.
09:19117. Except for his wife, We decreed that she would be among those who remained behind.
09:29117. When the messengers came to the land of the Prophet
09:36118. He said, “You are a people who deny [the truth].”
09:42119. They said, “Rather, we have brought you that which they used to enjoy.”
09:49119. And we have brought you the truth, and indeed we are truthful.
09:55110. So take your family by night and follow behind them, and let no one among you look back. Proceed as you are commanded.
10:10111. And We decreed to him that matter: that the last remnant of these people would be destroyed by morning.
10:23112. The people of the city came rejoicing.
10:30113. He said, “These are my guests, so do not be disgraced.”
10:38114. And fear God and do not disgrace Him
10:42115. They said, “Did we not forbid you from [treating] the worlds?”
10:48116. He said, “These are my daughters, if you are going to do them.”
10:58117. By your life, they are truly wandering blindly in their intoxication.
11:05118. So the cry seized them at sunrise
11:10119. So We turned it upside down and rained down upon them stones of baked clay.
11:20110. Indeed, in that are signs for those who discern.
11:27111. And it is a straight path
11:32112. And the owners of the thicket were indeed wrongdoers.
11:44113. So We took vengeance on them, and indeed, they are on a clear path.
11:52114. And the people of Al-Hijr denied the messengers.
11:58115. And We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them.
12:05116. They carved out houses out of the mountains, feeling secure.
12:12117. So the blast seized them at daybreak.
12:16118. So what they used to earn did not avail them at all.
12:23119. And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth.
12:33119. And indeed, the Hour is coming, so forgive with gracious forgiveness.
12:41110. Indeed, your Lord is the Creator, the All-Knowing
12:47111. And We have certainly given you seven of the oft-repeated verses and the Grand Qur'an.
12:55112. Do not look with envy at what We have given certain classes of them to enjoy, nor grieve over them, and lower your wing to the believers.
13:12113. And say, "I am the clear warner."
13:19114. As We sent down upon the dividers
13:25115. Those who made the Qur'an great
13:30116. By your Lord, we will surely question them all.
13:35117. About what they were doing
13:39118. So proclaim what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists.
13:45118. Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers.
13:50119. Those who associate others with God will know
13:59110. And We know that your heart is distressed by what they say.
14:06111. So glorify the praises of your Lord and be among those who prostrate.
14:13112. And worship your Lord until certainty comes to you
