00:00We all were shocked by the news. As a matter of fact it was sometime after 4 a.m. I
00:10was contacted by TEMA and that's after 4 a.m. on I think Wednesday morning it was when the matter
00:19was brought to light.
00:20The Tobago House Assembly through agencies like TEMA, the TRHA, we have been extremely helpful and supportive to the TTPS
00:31and other agencies of state in their efforts to locate 2-year-old Angelo Tobias Plaza.
00:39We have been using all the technology available to us from drones to boats we have access to, to even
00:48engaging specialist divers to go into the space.
00:53I've also been in conversation with Senior Superintendent Kirk on the matter as we collaborate in efforts to locate the,
01:04the young child 2-year-old Angelo Tobias Plaza.
01:08A lot remains unclear. A lot remains unknown to us. There are more questions than there are answers. But certainly
01:19this reminds us of the duty of care we have for our children.
01:26And I want to remind the public that this goes beyond what the Tobago House Assembly can do, should we
01:35do, and what the Tobago House Assembly is actually doing, to what we ought to do in our families, what
01:41we ought to do as parents, what we ought to do in our communities and other social institutions in ensuring
01:48that we protect the most vulnerable among us and that includes our children.
