00:00We're in Long Beach trying out the viral hot dog cart, Glizzy Street Hot Dogs, started by two 15-year
00:04-old brothers, seeing what the heist is all about.
00:06We usually sell around 200 hot dogs and up. We want to make some money and do something different instead
00:10of staying at home.
00:11We love Big Rap Hot Dogs. We love hot dogs. And the amount of support people came and showed us
00:15is amazing.
00:16I got a chance to hear a little bit more about their background story from their older brother, Jay.
00:20When they were born, they were premature. My mom passed away due to pregnancy complications.
00:24They never met her. We all had to band together to raise them.
00:27You know, my dad working nonstop, me being 17 at the time.
00:31You know, my other siblings moved in from out of state, helped my dad raise them.
00:35So they've been loved from every single angle.
00:38It is a misconception that we buy prepackaged dogs. We do not. We wrap them by hand.
00:43It is a secret right now where we get our dogs from, but people like them. They're big, they're juicy.
00:48Like, people come from different states just to try Glizzy. That means so much.
00:52We're so grateful. It's like, you get long lines every single day. This is like our second week.
00:56And plus they're charging them $8 and up at LA. So there's no background hot dogs around here.
01:01And we decided to sell out $5. We ran the numbers and that was a good pricing point.
01:04Served condiments, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and barbecue sauce, which is different from the rest.
01:09We also served veggies and jalapeno on the side.
01:11This is a girthy glizzy right here. Bacon wrapped for a little bit of that salty crispiness too.
01:16And then we got just mountains of those sweet peppers and onions for a little bit of a sweet pungent
01:21kind of kick as well.
01:22Right on top of this dog. Let's try it out. Holy . I've had a lot of late night, maybe
01:27drunken hot dog runs in my life.
01:29And this is probably one of the best glizzies I have ever had. A thick dog, a little bit of
01:34that extra fat and saltiness.
01:35But the sweetness and that pungent taste from the onions is just bringing this whole thing together so nicely.
01:40Take a little jalapeno intermission. Way too hot for this white boy right here. Oh my God.
