02:04Mama dear, come over here and see who's looking in my window.
02:09So if the goal is to become a better cook, you have to start with the classics.
02:13And baked ziti is a dish that you have to learn to get right.
02:16You want it to be creamy and you don't want it to be dry.
02:19And my baked ziti recipe is amazing.
02:20You don't want to think for someone and you don't want to look like you're trying too hard.
02:23Like if I were to have a guy come over and I were to cook for him, which would never
02:28happen, but assume that's what I would do, I would make something like this, you know?
02:33So if you're looking for something to make for your next date night or you want to learn how to
02:37make something, you can bring to potlucks and parties, this is it.
02:40So we're going to start with ground meat.
02:41I like to use beef and sausage.
02:43And then we're going to add onions, peppers, and garlic and let it simmer.
02:47Halfway through, we're going to add in some crushed tomatoes and my favorite pasta sauce.
02:51And we are going to let that cook.
02:53I then like to add in my spices here and I've listed them.
02:57We're going to add in a little heavy cream.
02:59That little creamy razzle dazzle.
03:02And then we're going to toss in some Parmesan cheese, some chopped basil, and then we are going to let
03:08it simmer.
03:08Here's where I'll taste test and add more seasoning if need be.
03:11To some cooked pasta, I'm going to add in some ricotta cheese along with some mozzarella, some basil, and a
03:17whole bunch of spices.
03:18And then I'm going to take that delicious meaty sauce and I'm going to start working it into my ziti
03:23cheese mixture.
03:24This is how you're going to have that delicious creamy ziti that isn't dry.
03:28But the real key is going to be the layering.
03:30We're going to start by adding a ton of that meat sauce down and then we're going to lay some
03:36of that ziti mixture on top of that.
03:38Then we're going to take some mozzarella cheese and we're going to repeat the process.
03:42You're going to add some meat sauce and then you're going to take your ziti mixture and then you're going
03:46to end it with some cheese on top.
03:48You want to foil it but make sure it doesn't stick and then at the end of the cooking process,
03:53you are going to add a little bit of broil on top and you'll have the perfect baked ziti.
03:57You have to make this four ingredient pasta bake with just over 500 cals and 36 grams of protein.
04:04So you start by boiling your pasta in water with some salt and waiting until it is just firm, not
04:13too mushy.
04:13And then you want to cook your mince at around 80% browned and then mix that all in with
04:19the Legos pasta bake sauce.
04:21This is so delicious and you just want to mix this in with your pasta and mince in an oven
04:29baking dish and mix that all together until it is well mixed.
04:35And then add your 50 grams of mozzarella cheese, bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes and then serve into
04:42your milk prep containers or for your family.
04:44This is so delicious and so packed in macros.

04:49Everyone has a memory of a meal their mum made for them on repeat when they were a kid and
04:53this is mine.
04:54It's kind of like fancy baked pasta, conchiglione or giant shells stuffed with garlic and spinach ricotta except because I'm
04:59a bit older now and trying to be healthy.
05:01This one's dairy free, high in protein, high in fiber and great for your gut.
05:05Silken tofu is such a genius ingredient.
05:07Here it's mixed with spinach, basil, garlic, olive oil and nutritional yeast.
05:11It's so creamy, cheesy and moreish.
05:13Baked in tomato sauce and lentils.
05:15It's got over 30 grams of fiber.
05:17It's easy, fun to make and absolutely delicious.
05:20So if I'm being honest, I don't like making stuffed shells.
05:23It's messy, it takes too long and I just have better things to be doing, you know?
05:26But once a year I'm like, I need stuffed shells now.
05:30So this is how I'm making them today.
05:31I did a little three cheese and pesto filling, stuffed that into my cooked shells.
05:35There they are, looking so good.
05:36I nestled them into some marinara and topped with more cheese, of course.
05:40Baked it for like 30-ish minutes.
05:41Ugh, just look at that bubble.
05:43Fresh basil on top and wow, can't wait to make these again next year.

06:44what could be better than a mozzarella stick going in rigatoni well nothing if you ask me
06:50so this easy italian recipe i'm going to show you how to do it you start out with your rigatoni
06:56here and then you just have some mozzarella stick those little string cheeses and what you're going
07:02to want to do is you just simply break that in half take your two rigatoni your pasta here
07:09and you shove that right in the middle and yeah it's really good i got a couple others made right
07:14here so i'm just going to stack this up so you can see what i'm doing just make as many
07:19layers as you
07:20can get your favorite sauce to go on it i like to do a little medley so i start with
07:26my red on one
07:28side right here nice little marinara here's where it gets real fun y'all then i do my alfredo as

07:35little sandwich right in the middle oh yeah it's such a good dinner it really is if you have a
07:43big family and you don't have a lot of time and if you love cheese and carbs like i do
07:48i mean we're
07:49all guilty of that um it's just a real quick little dinner you can whip together that really just
07:54impresses all of your friends they think girl are you from italy where'd you come from it's pretty
07:59amazing you add your meat of choice on top here so i'm choosing some shredded chicken to go on this
08:05all right you can also choose uh if you don't have shredded chicken if you want to use ground beef
08:11ground turkey if you're trying to cut your uh your calories back a little that's perfectly all right
08:17too so you just want to shred that on there and you can use leftover chicken you can use chicken
08:22out
08:23of the can if you're not feeling like cooking or you can boil yourself some chicken and you can shred
08:27it that way as well if you have any more extra sauce this is when you're going to want to
08:32put
08:32that on put it on here and then just a little bit more of the alfredo on top there there

08:38okay i'm going to add myself a little bit of italian seasoning just all across the top and don't worry
08:45it's going to get gooier in just a second i'm going to add my shredded mozzarella that's my last step
08:50right here shredded mozzarella on top to add just another layer of that cheesy goodness

09:51there we go look at that oh boy it smells amazing too it's gonna taste even better we're gonna start
10:00out with one 32 ounce jar of your favorite red sauce i'm using arabiata now i'm adding in one cup
10:06of shredded mozzarella cheese one block of cream cheese and i'm going to use one cup of ricotta cheese and
10:13i'm just making this into smaller scoops and spreading it throughout my baking dish add in
10:18one fourth a cup of shredded parmesan now i'm going to drizzle with a little bit of olive oil
10:24season with salt pepper and a little bit of origino leaves now i'm popping this in the oven at 350
10:32for
10:32about 20 minutes till all of it's melted we're gonna stir this and combine breaking up all that cheese
10:39we're just going to mix it until it's this beautiful lighter color and now i'm adding in
10:44my pre-cooked pasta i use two different kinds because i wanted 16 ounces and i only had eight
10:50ounce boxes you can use whatever kind you like once that pasta is all covered i'm on top with a
10:55little
10:55bit more shredded mozzarella i want to just create a crust on top and a little bit of italian herbs

11:03gonna pop this back in the oven at 350 for just about 10 minutes till it looks nice and bubbly

11:08this now marty said i should have added a little bit of meat to this so you can do that

11:14pop this out now this easy cheesy pasta bake is gonna taste just like lasagna but done the easy way
11:22so rich and creamy grab a bite and enjoy lasagna pasta is so easy and so good you gotta try

11:31this pasta is so delicious let me show you how i prepared it at home i'm using a shallot in
11:36one
11:37large garlic clove the pan has been preheating on low heat a drizzle of olive oil add the diced shallot
11:43saute it for about a minute and a half too and then next we're going to add the garlic and
11:50it cooks
11:51really fast for the same thing i just want to saute this for another minute and a half total of
11:56three
11:56minutes you can see that the onion is a little translucent once it's cooked and i'm going to just
12:02reserve it on the side and leave the pan on medium to low heat because we're going to be cooking
12:09the
12:09spinach this is five ounces of spinach just press it all down don't be afraid i'm going to cover it
12:16with
12:16a lid so that way i can get some of the moisture to allow the rest of the spinach to
12:21cook once it's
12:22reduced like by half remove the lid now crank up the heat just a little bit toss it really quick
12:29it's going to stay green and it's going to cook super fast and you're not going to have any water
12:35left behind it's going to be super dry this is perfect this is where i want it remove it and
12:41let
12:42it cool down a little bit the cheese parmesan cheese about two ounces just put it in the nutribullet
12:48set the cheese aside now we're going to add some cream cheese two ounces to the garlic and the
12:54shallot the next ingredient is the spinach i'm just going to simply chop it add it with the rest
13:00of the ingredients and because it's a little bit warm it's going to help melt the philadelphia cheese
13:07just incorporate everything add the cheese these are two ounces of cheese parmesan ricotta cheese i'm
13:14going to use one container you need to add pepper and salt this is one teaspoon i'm going to continue
13:21mixing and adding the rest of the ricotta cheese i use the full container i'm adding some chihuahua
13:27cheese you can use mozzarella cheese or any cheese that you like that melts really good mix it and then
13:34taste it here for the last time to see if it needs salt or pepper before adding the egg everything

13:39perfect and now it's time to get your pan drizzle some olive oil i'm using some rayos tomato sauce i
13:47love this sauce i don't need to add anything here because everything's already going to be very
13:51flavorful adding one tablespoon of salt it's boiling now i'm adding my pasta i use 22 pieces of pasta
14:00mix it and leave it there it says for 13 minutes but i'm only putting eight it's time to drain

14:07stuff the pastas one by one and then just arrange them to look pretty cover it put it in the
14:14oven 350
14:15for 35 minutes remove add a little bit more cheese turn it to a broiler setting 375 for 100 for
14:23about
14:23seven minutes or five until the cheese melts and this is the end result super delicious you're going to
