00:00Dirties Daily today is powered by Tim Sparks. Y'all familiar with Tim Sparks, boys?
00:05You're going to have to help me out.
00:07I have no idea who this is.
00:08I have Bubba Sparks.
00:09I have no idea. Bubba Sparks, that's right.
00:11Call his part, call his part.
00:12He's on tour right now, man. He's on tour right now.
00:15Booty, booty, booty, booty, rockin' everywhere.
00:17Rockin' everywhere.
00:18Booty, booty, booty, booty, rockin' everywhere.
00:19Booty, booty, booty, booty, rockin' everywhere.
00:22Rockin' everywhere. Rockin' everywhere.
00:24I found you, Miss New Booty.
00:26Get it together and bring it back to me.
00:30It's a player's club.
00:31Oh, I can't see.
00:33See what it do.
00:34Something like that.
00:35Bring it back. Bring it back.
00:37I'm going to be honest with you.
00:38The fact that my two-year-old, when I asked her what song she wants,
00:41it's Booty, Booty, Booty.
00:42That's the song she's referring to, boys.
00:44That song was on one of the first Bird CDs I ever made.
00:47Yes, yes. Bubba Sparks.
00:49That completely got away.
00:50Oh, Bubba Sparks.
00:51I know, Bubba.
00:52We need to get Bubba on the show sometime.
00:53Do it.
00:54He did have a run in the air.
00:57It's actually Little Rock where I ran into Bubba, believe it or not.
00:59Little Rock was a great spot for music, any kind of music,
01:04any kind of live music, because people were going from Dallas,
01:07really anywhere out here, getting to the Midwest, Nashville, Chicago,
01:11anything over there, you've got to go through Little Rock,
01:12so they'd all schedule shows on their off nights,
01:15on their Wednesday nights or Tuesday nights or Sundays coming back through,
01:19and so you'd catch some pretty good acts in little small venues.
01:22It's really cool.
01:22I always wonder why Warren just made it three X's.
01:25I want to know the story about it.
01:27If it's three X's, do you almost go two X's on that Sparks?
01:32Is it just what you maybe think it is,
01:34or there's something special around it?
01:35You may ask and find out in front of me.
01:37Hit up Warren.
01:38See if you can find it.
01:40Tim Sparks, though.
01:41Sorry.
01:41KS.
01:42Sorry, Tim.
01:43KS.
01:43This is a KS, by the way.
01:45That should be a promo.
01:47What?
01:48What we just did.
01:49What we just did right there?
01:51The Drive.
01:54The Drive with Sterner and Hughley.
01:57It should be played and it hit the voice guy's name.
02:00We do like shaking it.
02:01All right, Tim Sparks.
02:03He's a businessman.
02:04All right.
02:05Hold on, I'm hitting up Bubba.
02:06Hang on.
02:06Yeah, they hit up Bubba.
02:07Hitting up Warren.
02:08Warren Mathis is who he's hitting up.
02:09Also, you may know him as a businessman.
02:11We're a businessman.
02:13Ah, you beat me.
02:14It's like we're simpatico, dude.
02:16Sure.
02:17Should have gone to that movie together.
02:18Damn it.
02:20Oh, devil wears pride.
02:21Mom went there this morning.
02:22She found a $6 matinee.
02:24Hit it.
02:24Nice.
02:25Hit it this morning.
02:2610.35, too.
02:27You stole that bonding moment from me.
02:28Tim Sparks, boys.
02:30He is no kin to Bubba Sparks.
02:32No relation.
02:33He's a businessman.
02:34Don't even know where he made his money.
02:35But I greatly appreciate what he did, boys.
02:38He bought 80 Pizza Huts, apparently, around the country.
02:42Oh, my.
02:4280 Pizza Huts.
02:44And you know what he's going to do with them?
02:46A little throwback.
02:47Hell, yeah.
02:48A little throwback.
02:48Tell me if this hits home, Houston.
02:51The Pizza Hut back in the day.
02:53Before, of course, it changed with times.
02:57We get it.
02:57Time changes everything.
02:58The Pizza Huts back in the day that had the Pac-Man arcade game.
03:03The Pizza Hut back in the day that had the absolutely beautiful salad bar.
03:07Big salad bar guy.
03:08And I'll be honest with you, it may have been because I wasn't a huge pizza guy.
03:12So, when the family went to Pizza Hut, I mashed the salad bar.
03:16All right?
03:17Red cups.
03:18You remember the old red cups?
03:19Oh, the big red cups, yeah.
03:20Hell, I think we've got some of those colored cups here.
03:21I think our new kitchen here at Odyssey, I think they put some of them.
03:24They're blue, but they're not red.
03:24Are they blue?
03:25Yeah.
03:25Well, the red ones are what Pizza Hut's going with.
03:27And this is my favorite, man.
03:30The old family booth sitting.
03:33Right?
03:33The seats where the booths are big, big red booths, whether it's a four-top or even bigger
03:38where you can sit more people around it, trying to promote family time, put the phone down,
03:43look out of eye, communicate with each other.
03:45And I'm here for it, boys.
03:47Hell, yeah.
03:47I'm going to tell you, T.
03:49Wimberley, Texas.
03:51Used to go to Seven Acre Ranch every July 4th.
03:55We'd go to that for 10 days.
03:56And back in the day, there was only a couple of places where you could go to eat.
04:00There was a little small Pizza Hut up there in the Hill Country in Wimberley, Texas.
04:04And it was, hell, it may still have all the things he just mentioned.
04:07But, I mean, it was, when you talk about them red cups, when you talk about them booths,
04:11when you talk about the salad bar, I don't remember if they had Pac-Man or not.
04:14I've never been a video game guy.
04:17They're the Devils, so I've never been a big fan of them.
04:21But that's where the old traditional Pizza Hut takes me is Wimberley, Texas, to that one location.
04:26But I like this.
04:27I'm going to tip my cap.
04:28I'm tipping my cap to old Tim Parks.
04:30The same like little...
04:31Tim Sparks, not Parks.
04:33Tim Sparks.
04:33The little light deal.
04:34Yes, yes.
04:35What are they called?
04:37Stains like stained glass.
04:38There you go.
04:39Stained glass light fixtures.
04:40Yeah, good call, man.
04:41Better times, man.
04:42I read this story, and now I feel even more disrespectful to Tim because I did not remember his name.
04:47But I read the story.
04:48It's a good move by Pizza Hut.
04:50To be fair, I saw Tim's picture.
04:51I read his name.
04:52I did a tad bit of searching looking for like where he made his money to go buy 80 Pizza
04:56Huts.
04:57Couldn't find it.
04:58Doesn't seem like anybody cares about how Tim got his money.
05:01All they care about is that he's doing good with it, buying 80 Pizza Huts and doing that
05:05right there.
05:06So I don't know about...
05:07Very, very few like really any kind of establishment.
05:12But damn sure eating establishments like that can take me back to a certain place in a certain
05:17time and literally by the way it used to be.
05:19Well, they didn't want to see me coming at that Pizza Hut buffet.
05:23You just murdered it up there in Kansas City?
05:26I'm coming in here, boy.
05:27I'm coming in here with bad intentions.
05:31Put a hurt on these pies.
05:33You were talking about the salad bar.
05:34Hell with that.
05:36I use the salad bar for ranch.
05:39Where are the meat lovers at?
05:41I use the salad bar for ranch.
05:44I'm coming in there for a shift.
05:47They had to put a time limit.
05:49They had to put time limits on me.
05:50I'm coming in.
05:51I put my feet up and suddenly in.
05:54It's Thanksgiving out here.
05:56Do I have to buy that salad bar over there to get my fair share of that ranch?
05:59Yeah, I take it.
06:01I own them ovens now.
06:02I'm here.
06:03That ranch, man.
06:03That got me a salsa.
