00:00With this jacket that is kind of close to the body and this that is more baggy, a bit of
00:04a Kim Possible look.
00:06It's shiny, there's some texture.
00:36Hey, this is Melissa Boni from Ad Infinitum.
00:39We're in North America today in Chicago headlining for the first time and we are promoting our album Abyss.
00:46Today I'm going to take you through some of my stage outfits.
00:49So when I choose an outfit I'm trying to reflect both my personality and the music that we're playing on
00:54stage.
00:55So typically for Ad Infinitum it's going to be cargo pants, jackets or sometimes I like high boots.
01:06High boots.
01:09Yeah, and I like to try different stuff tour after tour.
01:14I kind of never redo an outfit for two tours in a row.
01:20It's both interesting and stressful but I like and sometimes I also like to craft some stuff at home to
01:26make everything custom and unique.
01:28I usually bring a few options but I always end up having a favorite and wearing this one most of
01:34the time.
01:35So this is actually something we found with Adrian.
01:38We went shopping at some point on the tour.
01:41I didn't bring this from home.
01:42So we went to this shop that had everything hair and outfits and we found two pieces.
01:50There's this and a trouser that goes together with it and it ended up being one of my favorite things
01:56ever.
01:57So I've been wearing it for many shows now.
02:00It's a simple crop jacket.
02:02Plain black.
02:04Very comfortable.
02:05Sometimes a little too warm though.
02:07We've had a few very warm and sweaty shows and this one definitely keeps you warm.
02:12I don't know this brand Dona.
02:16I have no idea.
02:19So we were at this boutique where actually I found a couple of pieces and lots of hair products and
02:27basically anything that is fun to shop when you're going with your friends on the day off.
02:37Yeah, I've never, I don't even know how to pronounce the name of that shop.
02:40It's Tyson or Tisan or something like this.
02:43Next, I have this overall at home and I've been using it as a trouser and I've been doing this,
02:50been doing this kind of to give a bit of texture here.
02:59And yeah, I've, this is, this is very cozy, very, um, it feels a bit like a cargo pants, like
03:08cargo pants.
03:10Um, and it keeps this, uh, with this jacket that is kind of close to the body and this that
03:15is more baggy, a bit of a Kim Possible look.
03:19A little bit of a, um, spy slash ninja.
03:25I don't know.
03:26Somewhere online.
03:28I usually, I spent many, many hours looking at different shops online and, uh, I found this piece.
03:35I, I have an entire part of my closet, which is like tons of pieces that I either found online
03:43or in shops and some, some of them that I personalized.
03:47Um, and very often I try to reuse some pieces, but combine them with different other pieces to create new
03:55outfits.
03:55So this is a piece we also found at this shop when we went shopping with Adrian Cohen.
04:01Shout out to Adrian Cohen from Seven Spires.
04:04Um, and I love it because it's shiny.
04:07There's a lot of texture, but I haven't worn it yet because I felt like with the pieces I have
04:14here, I couldn't pair it in a way that would not make me look like a country singer.
04:19So, but I think I will wear it tonight.
04:21I'll try because I really love, you know, it's shiny.
04:26It's, there's some, there's some texture, there's some volume and it could be, I think I would pair it with
04:33a crop top or a bundle or something like this.
04:37And probably, probably different pants.
04:41So right before this headline tour, we were on 70,000 tons of metal and I was wearing those cargo
04:49pants slash jeans.
04:53And again, I love having like, if I have a very close to the body piece, like top piece, I
05:00like to have more baggy pants to create some kind of different dynamic.
05:06Um, and those are really cool. They have a lot of texture. They have lots of, yeah, lots of things
05:13going on.
05:14Also something I already had at home that I probably found online somewhere.
05:18So usually when I'm trying to create an outfit for a tour, I'll have a vision of the whole look,
05:24both the outfits, the, the, the hair, the makeup, the, sometimes I have flowers on the face or something.
05:31I, I, I, I love to create something, create a mood.
05:35Um, for the previous tour, for example, I, I was, I really wanted something that shines.
05:41So I had, um, I have shoulder pads that were shiny.
05:45I had, I sew some, um, some shiny thread on some of the clothes to, you know, when the light
05:53hits it, it reflects.
05:54Um, and I usually find some, a mood, um, and then I create whatever I want.
06:03For example, it could be a very street look, or it could be very feminine, or it could be a
06:10mix of both.
06:12And, and, and yeah, I just try to have a vision.
06:15Sometimes I draw, um, the, the piece, uh, on, on my iPad and I'm like, okay, I have, I've created
06:22this, um, project where I've drawn different, like I've drawn me.
06:27And then I have different types of boots, of tops, of shorts or skirts or whatever.
06:34And then I can change the, I can, you know, show, make appear whatever piece I want.
06:41So I can create the outfit and then I can, if I have new ideas, I can draw a different
06:45piece.
06:46And yeah, and I create this and then I, and I, then I spend way too much time online.
06:51So sometimes I will sew, um, some extra stuff on it, uh, extra textiles, extra decorations.
07:00I will sometimes, you know, there's this glue textile, textile glue.
07:04I will glue some decorations, some, especially shiny stuff.
07:07I like when it shines.
07:08I like when the lights hit the outfit and then it goes like a disco ball.
07:13Um, sometimes I will cut some stuff.
07:16Um, it really depends because sometimes I have a very clear vision, but I don't feel like it.
07:21I find exactly what I want online.
07:22So instead of, of not having exactly what I want, I'll just take this in my own hands and try
07:29to, to make it happen.
07:30I think it's kind of similar what I wear every day, but just a little bit more cozy and practical.
07:39What I wear on stage is more, it's an accentuation of my character or who I am or of my
07:47personality.
07:48Um, but it's still very close.
07:52Like, it's not like you would see me, uh, grocery shopping and you'd be like, what?
07:57Who, who is she?
07:59It's kind of still, still, um, well, you can see, um, I, I could maybe go on stage with this,
08:06but put some extra glitters or something that makes it more like a stage outfit.
08:11So when it comes to footwear for this tour, I have boots like this.
08:16Um, I went for flat ones because I think with, with the outfit I have with those cargo pants and
08:23this kind of, um, more street look, it, it just goes well.
08:28Um, I would easily also wear heels, heels sometimes, but for this, for this tour, I just thought that this
08:35would be the vibe and I, I just love them.
08:38I, I've been wearing them for a few tours now and they are some of my favorites.
08:42They go with a lot of stuff.
08:43They go with, for example, sometimes I have shorts and, and, um, body, body suit and like more, for more
08:51feminine look.
08:53Um, but this still goes well with it because it has this, you know, it goes until here and there's
09:00the laces.
09:01And so I, I really love those.
09:03Yeah.
09:04Dream pairs.
09:05I don't remember where I got them.
09:07I think I might have ordered them from Amazon.
09:10First of all, this is my favorite palette ever.
09:14It's, uh, from cosmic brushes.
09:17And I mean, I don't know if you can see, but all the colors are very, very beautiful and pigmented.
09:25And also there are those that have kind of two colors in one.
09:31And like I said, I love glitters.
09:34So I like to have, um, kind of easy, um, soft eye look like this would be, I would go
09:44on stage like this, but to have some little glitters here.
09:48Um, I'm not very good at eye makeup, I think.
09:53So I go pretty natural with this, with, um, you know, eyeliner, uh, some color along the eyeliner, a bit
10:03of a, a bit of depth here with, for example, a color like this, a bit of this to create
10:09the base.
10:09And then I went with this for most of the tour to have a little shiny, shiny thing going on.
10:17Um, so yeah, that's, that's my go-to for this tour.
10:21Um, it's beautiful palettes.
10:23I love it.
10:24One of my favorite lip products is this from Satu.
10:28Um, it's a lip stain and basically you put it on and after a while you peel it off and
10:36it stays the whole night.
10:37And it's perfect because very, very often I've been wearing lipstick and, you know, with the microphone.
10:42Then at the end of the show, I had lipstick here, lipstick here.
10:45And with this, I don't have this problem.
10:47So this stays forever and then the little gloss and I'm ready to go.
10:54This is currently my favorite blush from Too Faced.
10:57It has a kind of pink orange tone and it's the shade Tequila, I think.
11:07Tequila sunset.
11:08I was in such a hurry to pack for this tour because it was, I had my release party.
11:14I had the cruise and then the tour and there were so many things to bring that I forgot all
11:19my accessories, necklaces and whatever.
11:21But, once more, we went shopping with Adrian.
11:25Adrian.
11:27And, um, I found this.
11:38This necklace for the stage in Montreal in a shop called Diabolique and I think I'm going to wear it
11:47tonight.
11:48It's going to be the perfect accessory for my look.
11:54Yeah.
11:55I also like to wear, sometimes, stones like this.
11:59It's very much me.
12:01Thank you so much for watching.
