00:00If I had to sum up the album in one outfit, it would probably be this outfit right here.

00:04I just try to make the decision based off of vibes.

00:34Hey, it's Daya. We're backstage at my Chicago show on the Till Every Petal Drops tour, touring

00:40my album, Till Every Petal Drops, and we're going to take a look at some of my looks for

00:44tour, and I am so excited to show you.

00:47So for this tour, since it's the Till Every Petal Drops tour, we wanted to do some flower-inspired

00:52looks, and my stylist, Joyce, is an amazing stylist.

00:56She absolutely crushes it, and she's been helping me pick out some looks in different

01:02kind of versions of the world.

01:04We have the cyber blue, which has been a consistent theme throughout the album, and then we have

01:09the red, which is more of a straightforward red rose.

01:14We have this feather moment, which I think is just like, plays off of the darkness with

01:22the black feathers, the darkness, the broodiness of the album, but it also has some lightness

01:28and playfulness to it too.

01:30And then we bought this Nausicaa set, which I wore in Nashville and I'm obsessed with.

01:37It was so fun to wear it on stage.

01:38It has this beautiful flower right here.

01:41And yeah, we kind of wanted it to be whimsical and playful and have textures that reflect

01:46the light really well, but also feel a little bit edgy, a little bit grungy too.

01:53So kind of beating in the middle of those two worlds a little bit.

01:57Yeah, so when we started planning the tour, I was workshopping some things with my creative

02:02director, Lu, and we were just putting together an overall visual palette for the tour.

02:08We wanted to include some hero colors of the album, so the cyber blue is one of them,

02:15kind of these lighter red and purples.

02:19So we had the initial conversation with my stylist, Joyce, and she had reached out to

02:24a few local designers to New York, some people from London, and they put together some sketches

02:30for dental outfits, and we reviewed them together, and this was the result of that.

02:37So this is a beautiful custom design by Emily Anae.

02:43It's got this beautiful, kind of it's blue metallic fabric.

02:47It reflects the light really well.

02:49I'm super, super excited.

02:51I'm going to wear this tonight.

02:51I can't wait.

02:53Someone told me I look like a cyber poly pocket, and that's like the best description I've ever

02:58heard.

02:58I'm going to wear it with these boots, the Demonia boots.

03:03So I'm going to be very, very tall tonight.

03:06I mean, it's just like, it's very bouncy, and it literally feels like a pillow.

03:11It's very comfortable.

03:12It's like one of the most comfortable stage outfits I've ever worn.

03:16But it just feels very chic at the same time, very elevated.

03:21And I love that it's literally turning me into a literal flower.

03:24Like there's nothing more on the nose than this.

03:26And yeah, it's going to be super fun to bounce around in tonight.

03:30This feather look is by Finesse, and we really love the texture of this.

03:35We love the flowiness.

03:36It's going to be really fun to play with on stage.

03:39I love that it also hits that like cyber blue and kind of reflective with the light,

03:45but also has these like darker little accents, which I feel it's very true to the album.

03:52Like a little bit playful, but also a little bit moody and mysterious.

03:55So I feel like this one, if I had to sum up the album in one outfit, it would probably

04:00be this, this outfit right here.

04:02Yeah, this one would just be with the, with the black blue, classic black blue.

04:07Um, yeah, just to grunge it up a little bit more.

04:11This one is also by Finesse and was actually one of the last looks that we tried on

04:16because I'm not typically a red person.

04:19But for some reason, this one, I just felt like immediately comfortable and at home in.

04:26And it's just like, has such a cool flow to it.

04:30I have a song called Matador on the album that this really reminds me of.

04:34So, um, yeah, I'm really excited to wear this one.

04:38Okay, so this is by Nausicaa.

04:40It's this amazing designer based in New York.

04:42Um, we really loved the glitter on this and the shine and we have these little flower moments.

04:51This big one that went, that goes right on my shoulder right here.

04:54Um, super fun and I feel like it nailed the theme.

04:59Um, and I love a two-piece set because it just feels like more, it's more flowy and, and, and

05:07allows for more movement on stage.

05:09So, um, yeah, I, I love this one so much.

05:13And this one pairs with these amazing beige Sergio Rossi boots.

05:19Um, I love these two colors together. It feels very, like, earthy.

05:23So, this is half of an outfit, Outfit in Progress.

05:28Uh, the top is currently being shipped to us, which is, you know, road life.

05:33Um, but I'm really excited about this one.

05:35It's, it's black and then it's gonna have like a maroon or like a burgundy corset.

05:40And then we're gonna have some burgundy socks.

05:43A big theme of a lot of these outfits is, uh, we're gonna do like high socks above the boot.

05:49Um, depending on what color we land on.

05:52So that's been really fun to play with.

05:54And, uh, I'm super excited for this look.

05:56We'll wear it with the black boots too.

05:58We have this Spanish designer, Delicado Studio.

06:02Uh, this like very adorable green bolero look.

06:07Uh, bolero top.

06:08And then we have this corset.

06:10It'll probably pair with like a black boy short.

06:13And these black boots as well.

06:15I usually like to consider what city, what the vibes are of the city.

06:19Um, I feel like that factors a lot into what I'm wearing.

06:23And each city has like a totally different vibe.

06:26Um, even within the East Coast and Midwest, which is, which is mostly what we're touring this tour.

06:32Um, but yeah, I just felt like this was like a very fun and playful moment for Chicago.

06:36And, um, this like, this top and skirt felt like a very cutesy girly Nashville moment.

06:45Especially with these boots.

06:47Um, but I think as I go, I, yeah, I just try to make the decision based off of, based

06:53off of vibes.

06:54I don't really, like, I don't know that there's like really any other way to say that.

07:00I mean, it is thoughtful, but it's, it's just, it's how I feel in the city and how I feel,

07:05how I felt performing there in years past.

07:08And what I feel the crowd will appreciate the most, hopefully.

07:13So for, for glam, we wanted to be very intentional with these looks.

07:18I also spoke to my stylist Joyce very, um, closely about all of this because she had very specific, a

07:25very specific vision.

07:26A lot of these call for, uh, yeah, very specific looks.

07:31And some of them have, you know, more, a more glammed up girly moment.

07:37Some of them are more grungy and we kind of wanted to strike a balance between the two of those

07:42based on the outfit.

07:44Um, today we're going a little bit more grunge.

07:46You can see with the, the, the bleached eyebrows.

07:50Yeah, for this outfit, I think because it is so girly, um, we wanted to balance it out with like

07:56kind of a darker eye.

07:57Uh, and so we did like a, a shadowy, smoky, dark brown, uh, gray moment for this one.

08:06Um, yeah.

08:06Day to day, I'm just showing up in baggy jeans and a sweatshirt usually.

08:12Very low key.

08:13I love to be comfortable.

08:15I can't lie.

08:17Um, I love that it gives me a moment to also step into a, a new kind of persona when

08:24I'm on stage with these outfits.

08:26I feel like it really makes me feel like an elevated version of myself.

08:29So most of the accessories that we have for this tour are rings or earrings.

08:34I, because there's so many like interesting necklines, I didn't really want to distract from that.

08:39Um, so we have some simple silver detailed, uh, rings and earrings here.

08:47Um, very, we like to, uh, play with kind of like geometric shapes a lot.

08:52So you'll see a lot of like, like this, this long piece.

08:58And then the, yeah, these like oval pieces here, kind of ovally.

09:03Um, yeah, we, we have like a bunch of rings and, and earrings.

09:10And then we have gloves for some of the looks too, which has been like a kind of a, another

09:14motif through all the looks, which has been really fun.

09:17Yeah.

09:17Just some like black leather gloves.

09:19And then we have these like ombre gloves actually for this look, which I'm really excited about.

09:25Someone spray painted the tips of the gloves.

09:27So that's, that's gonna be really fun.

09:30And, um, and also feels like an organic, like of the earth moment.

09:36Like literally digging in the dirt type of thing.
