00:00It's not pooping. We don't do that here.
00:02We don't.
00:03Especially us.
00:04Girls don't poop.
00:05The pipes have frozen.
00:07The smiles have gone.
00:08Dylan spent probably like $20.
00:10No, $40.
00:11Was it $40?
00:12Winning this Yoshi.
00:43Hello, you may come in.
00:46Hey, I'm Melissa Boni from Ad Infinitum.
00:49I'm Adrian from Seven Spires.
00:51We're on tour together, which is awesome.
00:54We did this a few months ago in Europe and now we're here in North America.
00:59This is the last show of the tour in Chicago.
01:04Yes.
01:04We recently put out a record called A Fortress Called Home.
01:07And we have a new record called Abyss.
01:10Yes, so it's the Fellowship of the Abyss.
01:13That's the name of the tour chat anyway.
01:15Anyway, welcome to our home where we have lived for not that long.
01:22Let's show you around.
01:23Yeah.
01:24So first of all, welcome to the front lounge.
01:26There is a TV in the corner.
01:27Which we do not use.
01:29Nobody here is watching TV because...
01:31Everybody's reading books.
01:32Reading books and playing Switch.
01:34Playing Switch.
01:35Or Pokemon on their phones.
01:37I actually was kidding about the books but...
01:40I think Pete is actually reading.
01:41Oh.
01:42Yeah.
01:42People are eating, snacking, and...
01:46Not pooping.
01:47We don't do that here.
01:48We don't.
01:49Especially us.
01:50Girls don't poop.
01:51There is a girl drawer.
01:52It's the singer's drawer.
01:54And we had to buy condoms for the trailer thing.
01:57And I put them away so that you wouldn't have to see them.
02:00But now I'm revealing them to you.
02:01I thought we could put them all over and...
02:04I don't want to make problems for anybody.
02:06But here we have very important things like vitamins.
02:09Because we don't want to get sick.
02:10Unfortunately we went through a polar vortex while we were in Canada.
02:14It started while we were in Brooklyn.
02:16And it was like...
02:17I don't know.
02:17Real fuel?
02:18Minus 20 Fahrenheit?
02:20Minus...
02:20Yeah.
02:21Minus 25 Celsius.
02:22Yeah.
02:23And we had ice inside the bus.
02:25And it was so cold...
02:27That I actually lost my voice.
02:29Did I trust you?
02:30No, no, no.
02:31We have honey.
02:32That's very important.
02:32That's one of the singer's best friends.
02:34This is the girl's drawer.
02:35So...
02:36We have...
02:37Okay, we have tea.
02:40We have...
02:41Oh, this is...
02:43I discovered this because you said it was good.
02:45And now I'm addicted.
02:46It's very delicious.
02:47This is really good.
02:48Crispy rice.
02:49Apple chips.
02:52Here's my favorite snack.
02:54I'm not endorsed by them, but I am.
02:56I try to drink one every morning.
02:58Any tour they're on.
03:00Usually this does not happen.
03:04But then again, I didn't drink one every day.
03:06So...
03:07Endorse me.
03:08Emergency.
03:11Chili mango.
03:16Actually, I think these are mostly your snacks.
03:20We had a lot of ginger shots as well.
03:23Yeah, we had tons of ginger shots, which we haven't been buying either.
03:26Even though I think it's on our rider.
03:28There's also a bread drawer because we're traveling with many Germans.
03:32The bread is almost gone because we're traveling with many Germans.
03:38So, yeah.
03:38Lots of computers.
03:40Gabe is sometimes sitting here editing pictures, videos.
03:44Pete as well.
03:45Pete is sending emails.
03:46John is here.
03:47John, tour manager, tour managing from here.
03:50You can see that people like to sit here because their head smears on the mirror, which I did not
03:56clean.
03:57Sorry.
03:57Yes.
03:58This is because we're like...
04:01When we're driving.
04:02Yep.
04:03No shade to our driver.
04:04No, he's great.
04:05It's the road.
04:06Yep.
04:07Yes.
04:08And this is so far the only window that I've found that actually opens.
04:11Yeah.
04:11Which we didn't do until today.
04:13Absolutely.
04:13But we should have done that.
04:15Well, maybe...
04:16The air was bad.
04:17Yeah.
04:17But it was cold.
04:18So, I don't know who's drinking coffee.
04:21I think usually my guys like to go out to an ice cafe.
04:25Yeah.
04:25Just have a little quiet moment away from the entire tour.
04:29We pretend that we're not on a bus.
04:30We don't live in a venue, blah, blah, blah.
04:32It's kind of the daily quest, I think, for them to find a good coffee place where they can have
04:36breakfast.
04:37Yeah.
04:38I'm usually asleep until soundcheck.
04:41But we have this nice white board, which I try to update every day.
04:46It's a S for Seven Spires.
04:48Add Infinity Tulip.
04:50This is the other band that we're touring with.
04:52So, it's a sad Infinity Tulip tour.
04:56So, we have like, welcome to the city, wherever we are.
04:59And then if there's a special thing, like when we were in Toronto, it was Dylan, our drummer's hometown.
05:03So, we wrote, welcome home Dylan.
05:06If there's a drop and go, then we wrote, drop and go, angry face.
05:10We're eating a lot of bagels with cream cheese and toast.
05:14The Germans were not buying butter for the first half of the tour.
05:18The Germans have a problem with butter.
05:19I think that checks out.
05:21Yeah.
05:21Yeah.
05:22So, it was always cream cheese or peanut butter.
05:26Yeah.
05:26But now we have butter.
05:27Now we have butter.
05:27Yes.
05:28Because we complained so much.
05:30And they, I think on the day off, they went to a bowling place.
05:35And Dylan spent probably like $20.
05:37No, $40.
05:38Was it $40?
05:38$40.
05:39Winning this Yoshi.
05:41But the thing is, he won.
05:42So, it doesn't matter how much it costs, because victory is priceless.
05:49Yes.
05:49It's the chips and, oh, the chips are almost gone.
05:53Wait, you can feel free to have a look.
05:55And this is actually the best tea.
05:57The throat coat tea.
05:59At least my favorite.
05:59You like it too.
06:00I love it, yeah.
06:01It's great.
06:02Second favorite, my first favorite is like three ginger tea bags in a, in a thermos the whole
06:08day and then you drink it at the end and it hurts to drink.
06:11So good.
06:11So good.
06:13So.
06:14The fridge.
06:14It's actually, it's actually very full right now.
06:17We're not starving.
06:19There's, um, Chinese food from yesterday.
06:23Um, lots of beers for the Germans.
06:26Coke.
06:27As well.
06:28Coca-Cola.
06:29But it's always Coke Zero.
06:30Coke Zero.
06:30For John.
06:31That's what he prefers.
06:34Whoa.
06:35Whoa.
06:36Okay.
06:36We're not doing this.
06:37Nick likes to say, why is there vegetables in the beer trail?
06:43There's no vegetables anymore.
06:45Only beer.
06:46Um, we have, we used to have lots of ginger shots here.
06:49We have lots of Gatorade.
06:51And that's, that's a very important part of the seven spires rider.
06:55Yeah.
06:55And now because of you guys of our rider too.
06:58Ah, yes.
06:58It's important to stay hydrated.
07:00And if you drink so much water on stage because you're sweating and singing and working
07:03hard and the lights are hot.
07:04If you drink so much water, then you have to pee for the whole show.
07:07And burp.
07:08And it's terrible.
07:09And it's horrible.
07:09But if you drink Gatorade, it's got electrolytes.
07:13Personally, I specifically ask for full sugar, sport cap, no blue flavor, even though it
07:19is objectively the best flavor.
07:21Because of the tongue.
07:22Because when you're, exactly.
07:24If you, imagine you're holding a microphone and you have, like, this.
07:29Okay.
07:30I'm going to hold this as if it's a microphone.
07:32I'm a sage, la la la la la.
07:33How am I supposed to get this open and look cool?
07:35And then I'm like, and then sometimes you're, like, sweaty and you can't get it open because
07:39you have long nails.
07:40And by you, I mean me.
07:43And then if it's zero sugar, it'll have no fury like a hurted tummy.
07:50So, you can't have that.
07:51You can't have that.
07:52In a toilet where you can't poo.
07:56And then we have a bunch of stuff for the sandwiches.
07:59And some chocolate.
08:02Oh yeah.
08:02These are we haven't really used, but this is the...
08:05There's acai bowls in there.
08:06There's acai bowls.
08:07We got acai bowls.
08:08Oh, sorry.
08:08We got acai bowls this morning because it's very important to have a little treat sometimes.
08:13And we treat ourselves.
08:15That's true, we do.
08:15But it's important to have, like, a nice nutritious little treat.
08:20You can't always eat a bagel with cream cheese in the morning.
08:23So, the magnificent bathroom where only pee, no poop.
08:33And our pipes froze, actually.
08:35Yeah.
08:35We don't have water.
08:38The pipes have frozen.
08:40The smiles have gone.
08:42Yeah.
08:43And...
08:44I mean, we can still flush without a problem, but there's a point where, like, people were
08:48brushing their teeth with a bottle of water, and then the sink was just full of water and
08:51spit, and that was pretty nasty.
08:53Yeah.
08:55And, you know, we would stop and it goes...
08:56Yeah.
08:59Glamorous life.
09:00Yeah, beautiful.
09:02This is probably the cleanest bunk on the bus.
09:05Yeah.
09:06As you can see, there's a little pocket for your drinks.
09:08There's a light with a nice switch so you don't have to lay in the dark.
09:12There's an outlet in the corner so you can charge your stuff.
09:15There's AC.
09:16Yeah, that's true.
09:17I blocked mine with my pillow because I don't like to have air blowing on me while I'm sleeping
09:21because it dries me out.
09:23Um...
09:23Those are pretty comfortable and spacious.
09:26That's true, actually.
09:27I hit my head once or twice.
09:29Same.
09:29It's actually my first time on a nightliner that's three bunks high usually.
09:33It's two.
09:35Um, but yeah, that's cool.
09:36Yeah.
09:37You're here, right?
09:38I'm here.
09:39Okay, yeah.
09:39We don't need to see that.
09:40Yeah, no, we don't need to see that.
09:41I sleep here on the top bunk so I'm always, like, trying to find a way to carefully, like,
09:46not disturb anybody by, like, curling my toe around in this thing.
09:50I don't know.
09:51Anyway, it's a very dignified life here on the bus.
09:54Um, yeah, we can hang our jackets up here.
09:56Yep.
09:56Usually mine is at the very bottom because I'm the last one to get up.
10:01So, it's fine.
10:02Would you like to see the back lounge?
10:05Also, I think, um, this sleep's 12.
10:08Yeah.
10:09But sometimes we're 13 because, actually, that's not true because that's illegal.
10:13No, no, no, we're not 13.
10:14We would.
10:14Ever.
10:17This is where we have our self-care spa nights.
10:20Yes.
10:21After the show, I actually have an entire drawer of stuff.
10:24It's a little messy in here, but don't judge me.
10:26I have my emergency secret Red Bulls because if I don't have caffeine, I get migraines.
10:32Here, Melissa and I will, at the end of the night, take our makeup off and then do an entire
10:38skincare routine because you have to take care of yourself.
10:41Um, so I have, like, a thing of face masks, which I bought in Japan, and some lip stuff,
10:50um, collagen, eye, under eye gel things, toner, wipes, all kinds of stuff.
10:57It's just a, it's a nice way to, to manage living out of a bag.
11:03Yeah.
11:04To make a little home.
11:06Yeah.
11:06I have some serums, some creams, uh, and then also hair care in the evening.
11:12Oh, so much hair care.
11:13So much hair care.
11:14The products, creams, oils, braids.
11:18But that's why she looks like that.
11:19That's why she looks so good.
11:21Stop.
11:22So, to you.
11:23Yeah.
11:25Front lounge, there will be music and snacks and maybe video games.
11:30And here, sometimes, sometimes the guys join as well for self-care.
11:35Yeah.
11:36And there's face masks and spot music.
11:38Yeah.
11:39We have, like, band meetings back here sometimes.
11:42Yeah.
11:42But usually, in the mornings, it's for putting makeup on so that we're ready to give soundcheck
11:48because we usually have to do meet and greets right afterwards.
11:51Yeah.
11:51I think I would like to give our meters and greeters a nice, when you say, experience.
11:58Nice pictures.
11:59Yeah.
11:59And then in the evening, yeah, it's the, the chill space for quiet people who don't want to yell.
12:05But it's, it's also super fun in front lounge.
12:07The other night, when we had to cross back into the U.S. from Canada, um,
12:11we stayed up until, like, five in the morning.
12:13Yeah.
12:14John was DJing.
12:15Yeah.
12:16We had the best playlists.
12:17Yeah.
12:17Yeah.
12:17It was super fun.
12:19And we were in a great mood, and everybody else who got out of their bunks were like,
12:24so, yeah.
12:25Yeah.
12:26Also, a TV in the corner and an Xbox.
12:29I don't think anybody has turned on this.
12:31Yeah.
12:31We haven't even turned it on.
12:32But, um, if we were to, there's an entire cabinet full of Xbox games, which is cool.
12:39And board games here.
12:42Yep.
12:44Who's the silly goose?
12:45Who's the silly goose?
12:45Who would be the silly goose on this tour?
12:48I would say John.
12:50Yeah, John, for sure.
12:51Yeah.
12:52John.
12:52The tour manager, of course, is the silly goose.
12:55This is how you end bands.
12:58This and Monopoly.
12:59This is how you figure out who would hide the body.
13:02That's you and me.
13:03Yeah.
13:04And Lindsay.
13:06Our merch singer.
13:09Yes.
13:10So, welcome.
13:10Oh, and also there's a closet here, which is normally where I store my suitcase, which
13:14holds my stage clothes and stuff.
13:16But, um, right now it has my other carry-on and some jackets and stuff.
13:21It's just, um, I don't like seeing clutter.
13:24It's kind of unavoidable.
13:26Yeah, yeah.
13:27But, um...
13:27Especially with 12 people.
13:28Yeah, yeah.
13:29And everybody's actually very clean, very hygienic.
13:31We got this very nice wedding invitation from a couple last night, I think, who, um...
13:38Excuse me.
13:39I'm not going to show you, but they wrote us a super nice note that was like, we're
13:43going to use your music for our first dance, and it's really sweet.
13:47And I had these cute prog stickers, which I unfortunately ripped.
13:52Anyway, and you also have some love letters here.
13:54Yeah, we got some nice letters as well.
13:57And I was going to show...
13:58This is the...
14:01Oh.
14:02One of the occupations on this tour, Magic the Gathering.
14:05Actually, it's because of you guys on the previous tour that some of us started to play.
14:11Are these both yours?
14:12Yes.
14:12Nice.
14:13Who are you, commanders?
14:14Oh, cool.
14:16Whoa.
14:17Interesting.
14:18Yeah, this one...
14:19No, Dan found...
14:20No, Dan and Dylan and Jack.
14:22Ah, okay.
14:24And then this one I received for my birthday.
14:27Nice.
14:28I'm building a black and white commander deck right now.
14:33Yeah.
14:33But, um...
14:35It takes a while.
14:36I didn't want to bring it before it was done, because I wanted to specifically bring one
14:39that would kick everyone's asses, so that, I don't know, I would feel good about myself.
14:43I don't know.
14:44Are you saying we should tour again?
14:45Yeah!
14:46I am.
14:48Okay.
14:48I am.
14:49Okay.
14:49We should do that.
14:50Thank you for invading our bus.
14:52Make sure to check out...
14:54Seven Spires.
14:56We're on all...
