00:00We got butters. This is a new addition.
00:02Colin is the passenger princess.
00:04Patrick usually sleeps right here with the stuffed poo.
00:30Hey guys, what's up? I'm Leah, aka LOL, it's Leah, and we are on tour with Diva Bleach, Five Ever, and we also have Risk here in Chicago tonight.
00:45We have Ring Pop who's coming back on. They were on before, and then we have Lake Drive joining us tomorrow.
00:51So we also are playing stuff from my latest album, Nothing Lasts Forever.
00:57I'm going to show you around the band today, so let's hop in.
00:59Alright, so up here, I'm in the driver's seat, and Nolan is the passenger princess.
01:05That's what we call anyone who sits in the seat the passenger princess.
01:08Typically me.
01:09It's mostly Nolan. We switched, so I bought this van for this tour and anything moving forward.
01:14So I like to drive it. It zens me out. It makes me comfortable to just like sit here and kind of like tune out the world.
01:21But then I switch off with Nolan, and they take some shifts when I need to do some content editing or take a break from driving.
01:27Entertainment while driving. I feel like it's whoever doesn't need their phone, or yeah, whoever doesn't need their phone at the moment.
01:36So like if I'm editing, Nolan takes over and puts on, I guess really, what do you listen to? What do you play?
01:41I've been like shuffling my like songs, which is good and bad.
01:45That's kind of what I've been doing too.
01:47It can get a little weird, but then, I don't know, what was yesterday? It was a lot of like Vanessa Hudgens and Hannah Montana.
01:53Oh, we had a Hannah Montana moment. The cast of Victorious as well.
01:57Yes. We also played like songs from middle school when I was on the AUX.
02:00I had this like playlist where we played a lot of what we like replay. We played...
02:05Bedrock. Bedrock. Yeah.
02:08The Young Money Crew. Yeah.
02:10Stuff like that. Very miscellaneous music.
02:12Sixth grade dance. Middle school dance music.
02:14Yeah, middle school dance music for sure. And then a lot of pop punk.
02:16So as far as like trinkets and stuff, I have all my friendship bracelets that I was given before this tour.
02:23And now I'm wearing ones that I was given on this tour that I'm going to add to the...
02:27What is it? The gear? The stick? The stick?
02:30The shift. The shift.
02:32And then I also have... What else is like back here? We got butters.
02:37This is a new addition. Dee, our drummer, just collected butters at the Pancake House in Chicago.
02:45Chicago or...
02:46We have Leah's emotional support cupped olives.
02:49Yeah. I uh... My favorite snack is... is cupped of olives. That's for sure.
02:54We also... I guess... Oh, throat coat. The iconic throat coat. Very important. I have one of those a day.
03:00I have medicine ball at Starbucks every day too. We have not eaten those yet so I don't know how relevant they are
03:05but hopefully they will come into play at some point. Honey mustard? Irrelevant.
03:09And then my emotional support cliff bars because sometimes when you're on the road you forget to eat
03:15and if there's not time to have a meal we pull out a dozen cliff bars and they're mini so they're great.
03:21Alright, so this is the back of the van. We usually have more people in it like our photographer Abby who's right there if you want to say hi.
03:28Patrick, our merch guy. He's downstairs eating right now but they have their own rows so we definitely have plenty of room.
03:35We bring some friends in the van sometimes when we're visiting so there's plenty of room for that.
03:39But right here we have Dee, our drummer, who sits in this whole row.
03:44And if you would recognize and notice this very dirty but purposeful welcome mat that everyone keeps tripping on.
03:53But it's for the vibes. And then I have a blue and green pillow over there because that also matches my obviously hair and entire aesthetic.
04:02I tried to decorate it a little bit before we went on the road but obviously it's turned into...
04:06Actually we've kept it pretty clean. It looks pretty good but yeah.
04:10Alright, so usually I'm chilling here when we're driving. We got some nice soft comfy pillows.
04:16If I want to like crash and take a nap or like sprawl out, do the whole thing.
04:21Depending on the day, sometimes we'll have some friends. They'll usually...
04:26Depending on the city, they'll usually come sit up here or like the next row.
04:30So usually like if it's a long drive, I usually just kind of like...
04:34If we're not like putting music on like passing around like Spotify queuing up,
04:38I'll usually just like kind of put in my AirPods and like zone out and like play games on my phone or like take a nap or something.
04:44Oh yeah, also the sound. The sound between the front of the car and the back of the car.
04:50Yeah.
04:51Half the time we don't hear Patrick. We barely hear Abby.
04:54If they're back here, usually Abby's working so that's okay.
04:58She can be up in her headphones over here.
05:00But Patrick's usually sleeping in the back.
05:02So if I talk from up there and I'm trying to rest my voice, I have to...
05:07It's like telephone.
05:08I'm usually the communicator. They're like...
05:10I'm like, hey! And I yell back.
05:12And then I'm like, just kidding. They're asleep half the time.
05:15So I am... LOL, it's Leah's photographer. Most of the time I am back here editing.
05:19I don't have my stuff with me because it's in the venue, but I'll usually just prop my laptop back here
05:24and then I will plug it into a charger, which is super handy for long drives,
05:28especially because I'm shooting for both Leah and Diva Bleach on this tour.
05:31So it's really just me, headphones in, whirled out, doing my little edits.
05:35And then because I'm up so late editing, this is also my little bed during the day.
05:38So this is my nice little pillow and I kind of just sprawl out and vibe out.
05:43I literally am just...
05:44That's just a fucking...
05:45I'll just go like this.
05:47Oh, for that idea?
05:48For like sleeping, I'll just be like...
05:49Oh, you do that?
05:50Yeah, I do that.
05:51This is how I sleep back here.
05:52See, I don't even know. I don't know what goes on in the back of the car.
05:54I honestly can get really comfy too. Like, I can...
05:56I'll go like this sometimes too. I'll take my pillow out of here.
05:59The world is my oyster in this little row.
06:02Okay, so this back row, this is where we usually stack the vinyl.
06:05They're in the venue right now, so we don't have them.
06:07I have two giant blue and green vinyl crates from Amoeba Music in Los Angeles
06:12that my friend Josh, who is also here on this stop and the last stop,
06:16they drove from Los Angeles to New Jersey for me for this tour.
06:20So those would normally sit right here with the beach balls in it
06:23and we use those during Roller Coaster Tycoon during our set.
06:26And then Patrick usually sleeps right here with the stuffed poo.
06:31And headphones in, absolutely tuned out from the world.
06:36And then occasionally has the best sassiest little comment from the back seat and makes us all laugh.
06:41So honestly, this is Patrick's dome. He's very tall.
06:45So anytime I go over a bump, he hits his head and I feel terrible.
06:50And there he is in the flesh.
06:52Patrick!
06:54So Patrick decided to join us just now. So he's in the back row. Patrick, take it away.
07:03Being in the back row, you really get the privilege of not hearing anything that's going on up front.
07:09So I'm just sleeping in the back. The big question on this tour always is,
07:14is Patrick awake? And the answer is usually no.
07:17So I got my blankie, of course, and then I have my little Pooh Bear flush that doubles as my pillow.
07:24It's a Tsum Tsum, not sponsored.
07:27And he's just really comfy. So usually I'm just posted up like this with my headphones in.
07:34And when I'm needed, then someone gets me.
07:39So this is the back of my van. And actually I ordered this decal.
07:45First of all, shout out three stitch on IG.
07:48They're an incredible artist that does cartoon drawings and just honestly mixed media art.
07:53And they made this little icon for me that I use digitally.
07:56And before I got my van, I kind of manifested it.
07:58And I ordered this online as a decal before I had the car.
08:02So I put it on immediately when I got it and it's me.
08:05So anyone knows if they know me, they'll know this is my van.
08:09But if they don't know me, it's just cute. So that's cool.
08:12Yeah, we're opening this up.
08:17We took out the last row.
08:19So in the back here, it was a 15 passenger Ford Transit.
08:24We took out a row of four seats.
08:26Probably could have used to take out those two chairs, but then Patrick wouldn't have his little sanctuary.
08:30So that's all right.
08:31And in the back here, we have gone through so many different ways on how to stack all of our stuff in here.
08:37Right now we have Five Evers kick drum that we bring in our car.
08:40And then we have my rack, which comes into here.
08:44And then we have two bins for merch that go behind it.
08:47And then the rest is fair game.
08:49We got Dee's drum hardware.
08:51We got Nolan's guitar.
08:52And then we stack all of our duffels on top of all of that.
08:56So believe it or not, it all does fit, but it takes a little bit of finagling before we get it perfect.
09:03And if you want to check out any of my music, LOL It's Leah on social media, Spotify, Apple Music, wherever you listen to anything.
09:11LOLIt's Leah.com.
09:13Google LOL It's Leah and I will come up.
09:15And yeah, check out my latest album, Nothing Lasts Forever.
09:20Out now.
