00:39What's up, my name is Spencer Timmons, I'm the vocalist of Salt Wound.
00:43We're currently on tour right now with Great American Ghost, Gris Me Razor, and Downswing.
00:48We just released our new single, Apparition, featuring Ethan, Great American Ghost.

00:53I'm going to take you on a tour of our van today, so let's hop in.
00:55We have our ice chest right here, where we keep all of our drinks, food, anything we need to keep
01:02cool or refrigerated.
01:04We have our little charging block right here, which we've had since our first tour, and somehow it's still working.
01:10We just plug it in up here into the cigarette holders and run the cables back, usually with my bench
01:16right here.
01:17We have our phone clip holder for when we're driving, so we don't have to stare at our phones down
01:23there.
01:24There are emergency pairs of sunglasses for when people don't have theirs.
01:29We all kind of take turns driving.
01:32Usually the main night drivers are me, Sean, and Sam.
01:35Sort of rotate out throughout the night, depending on whoever drove last night.
01:38If someone needs to get more rest the next night, then someone else usually will drive or try to do
01:43at least most of it.
01:44So we kind of let the other people get some rest back in the back.
01:48Generally, we all kind of listen to our own things.
01:50We listen to a lot of throwback, like 90s stuff and old school, like 2000s and everything.
01:55That's kind of, I think, the main commonality between what we listen to.
02:00But for the most part, whoever's in the driver's seat is picking their own music or just putting their own
02:04playlist on shuffle.
02:04So, yeah, obviously we enjoy Hidden Texas because we've got a lot of Bucky stuff.
02:09I think this Bucky sticker's kind of all over the van.
02:11I'm wearing Bucky's merch right now.
02:14We also have this sticker from the Poodle Poodle in Denver, Colorado.
02:18A buddy of ours, Grant, works there.
02:21And obviously our own sticker.
02:22And this is from Miss Mei-Eye's stagehand, his brand that he's got.
02:29So that's the sticker of Mickey Hook.
02:30And then down here we have a bunch of tools that are kind of just thrown in here,
02:35but stuff that, you know, at any given point you might need quickly.
02:38The Mei-Eye got WD-40, a tire iron, just kind of random shit.
02:41And then these are our trash bags.
02:43So we hang our trash bags on the side of this seat right here for whenever, like, we're driving
02:50and, you know, we don't want to just leave trash everywhere.
02:53We keep it all in one of these bags.
02:54And then once you get somewhere into that venue, we stop and we throw it all out.
03:02All right, so this is where I sleep.
03:04This is kind of my bunk.
03:06I have this fold-out mattress so it rolls up and clips together so that we can kind of save
03:12space
03:13and people can sit up here when I'm not sleeping.
03:16It rolls all the way out and it is, like, gel foam.
03:22So it's really comfortable for sleeping right here.
03:24A lot more comfortable than the one I had before.
03:28We also, not using it too much right now because it's pretty cold,
03:32but we have these fans set up here that also plug into the cigarette lighters up there.
03:38So that way if, you know, it's really...
03:40When we're driving, the Fords like to do a thing where the back vents don't really work when you accelerate.
03:47So the back back here gets really, really hot in the summer and really, really cold in the winter.
03:52So when we're in the summer and we're driving, we usually run these so that people get some airflow back
03:59here
03:59if they're not up in the front where the vents are.
04:03Thanks to our bassist, Marty, I have this nice little covey drawer bag, whatever you want to call this thing,
04:15I guess.
04:15But it's been helpful for keeping a lot of my crap from kind of spilling all over the place, which
04:21is sort of what I did before.
04:23But now everything is kind of, maybe not organized, but at least it's all in reach and able to be
04:29grabbed.
04:30We've got a bunch of hooks kind of set up in here for like cables and my sleep mask and
04:35stuff like that.
04:36Blanket pillow. I kind of tend to tuck my backpack and some of my other stuff in the corner over
04:42here
04:42because it's just the most out of the way that it can be besides everything that I sort of shove
04:46underneath the bench down here,
04:48which kind of is a mess right now.
04:49But yeah, just basically trying to maximize storage space and be able to have everyone sitting up comfortably at any
04:58given moment.
04:59In the back, we have the rest of the bunks set up and at the top ones here, we have
05:04Marty and Sam.
05:06What up?
05:07You can't run out of water on tour because you'll be miserable and hate your life.
05:12So I keep stashes of water all the time.
05:16This is where my phone lives at night. Unless I want to watch a movie, I actually put it up
05:21here.
05:21And then I just lay on my back and watch a movie through this little like pencil holder divider thing.
05:28Marty put in these super cool charging ports for our phones.
05:32So even if the van's off, we can charge our phone.
05:37But overnight, this is where our electronics live.
05:41Then for me, Marty put in another one of these little cubby holder things.
05:47So, you know, we obviously have the switch, the snacks, our drink pouch stuff,
05:54other water bottles, trash bags, assortment of things.
05:57Real just quality of life stuff, you know what I mean?
05:59Well, I can't fit on the bottom bunk because I have a wide load sticker.
06:04But I have a little three inch foam pad thing.
06:08It does pretty decent, all things considered.
06:12It takes about a week or two to really get adjusted to sleeping not in your own bed.
06:17But once you get there, I think we do okay.
06:19Yeah.
06:20We do all right.
06:21Yeah, we do great.
06:22So yeah, same thing.
06:23These are cot beds, like twin size, like for RV.
06:28So they fit perfectly in here.
06:30Yeah, I got all these little cup holders installed.
06:34Got my glasses, my charger, just all my crap.
06:38Got our USB that I put in on both sides.
06:42So in case the bottom bunk wants some juice, they could get it.
06:46And then I got more.
06:47Same thing like his side.
06:49My iPad, just lotion, stuff like that.
06:53Got to have that cutene.
06:55Yeah.
06:56Yeah.
06:57That's about it though.

07:00We do have seat belts in these bunks.

07:18So then I did mention the Star Wars.
07:20We actually bought this band from Distinguisher.
07:24Their singer is our music video director.
07:26Their old guitarist is our producer and mixing engineer.
07:30So we bought this from them when they broke up.
07:33So a lot of these stickers kind of came with it.
07:36I could probably point out a few that didn't.
07:39I think this one obviously we added.
07:43This is our guitarist clothing brand.
07:45And then we added that.
07:46I think.
07:48And we added that.
07:49The Salt Wins ones we added for sure.
07:51The Revenge one we added.

07:56A lot of these kind of came with the van for us.
