00:00You know, you mentioned something about WWE just now, and may I say something, and you can disagree with me
00:06on this.
00:07Bill, I think that ending on how they sent you out, I'm sorry, dude.
00:14I watched it, and I was actually disgusted by it.
00:18I didn't think they cut away from it, and they didn't let you get a chance.
00:22I mean, that's not a guy that's 173-0 to be able to send him out like that and had
00:27an impact.
00:28I mean, maybe I'm wrong, Bill.
00:30Maybe you thought it was great.
00:31I thought it was disrespectful to you.
00:34Yeah, I haven't mentioned a lot of it, but yeah, no question.
00:39It was extremely disrespectful.
00:41It was something that I kind of knew was going to happen, but I was hoping it wouldn't.
00:46And, you know, the reality is they control the television, and you can segment.
00:52You can strategically place extra time at the end before you have to go off the air and move into
01:00the next program, right?
01:03So, yeah, I was pretty pissed off.
01:05I'll take it to my grave.
01:07But I'm not going to bitch and moan.
01:08It is what it is, and it's WWE disrespecting a WCW, you know, wrestler that was kicking their ass in
01:19the Monday Night Wars,
01:21and that's the last time that they think that they can, you know, throw shade on me.
01:24But the fact is that the fans know the deal, and the fans are the only ones I care about.
01:30And, you know, they can go ahead and do their little soap opera BS all they want, and I just
01:36live my life, man.
01:37I segue to the next thing, and I don't dwell on past negativity for the most part.
01:44And, you know, it's very disappointing.
01:46It was disappointing for my family.
01:48It was disappointing for my fans.
01:50It was disappointing for me.
01:51But, you know, it is what it is.
01:54Bill, do you really think that – I actually do know this question.
01:59I mean, I look at it.
02:01WCW guys were always disrespected by Vince and Triple H now, I would imagine, because of what you guys were
02:09doing with those wars.
02:10Ted Turner just passed away.
02:12I know you worked with him.
02:13I'd like to get your thoughts on what you thought of Ted Turner because I actually signed a contract at
02:19WCW
02:19and Ole Anderson and the Cowboy Bob Orton to train at that gym, and I was going to become a
02:25professional wrestler,
02:26and I loved those guys at WCW, Vader and all them guys.
02:32Again, just give me your thoughts on Ted Turner and the battles between WCW and WWE.
02:37Ted was an innovator, man.
02:39He built his empire based upon professional wrestling, I believe, and he loved it.
02:46He lived it.
02:47He breathed it.
02:48It was part of him, and he was, like I said, an innovator.
02:53And the things that he was able to do at that time gave WWE, WWF, a competitor, a viable competitor.
03:01And not only were we a competitor, we were kicking their ass.
03:04So, you know, resenting that fact and keeping it in the back of their minds so that when they can
03:11pull the trigger, you know,
03:13on something like my retirement, they always look back into something like that.
03:17And I think it definitely plays into their decisions to do what they do.
03:22And it just shows how small-minded they are and how cheesy they are, you know, kind of like Lane
03:27Kiffin.
03:29That's my man.
