00:32I can stop the late nights, the worry, where am I getting money from?
00:36Who do I owe money to?

00:38Where am I gambling?
00:39The day I got arrested, worst day of my life, and there's not a second day that comes close to it,
00:44was also a day of emancipation.
00:46It was like, finally, I can stop.
00:49Now, I still gambled after that.
00:51I want to be clear about that because I'm an addict, but the feeling of, whew,
00:56it's over, it's tangible.
00:58I'm walking into prison feeling like I'm free.
01:02I know that sounds really crazy, but I think you probably felt the same thing.

01:08I'll tackle the issue in front of me, but I'm going to use this as time to reflect,
01:11write another book, obviously just continue to grow.
01:14I've grown more in the last two years at 48 years old to 50 than I did the first 48 years of my life.
01:19Yeah, there's also, I would ask, I just met your beautiful wife before we started here.
01:23I would think you guys had to have some issues in the relationship because while you're physically there,
01:29you weren't present for your kids, for her, because your sole focus is gambling and money and how to get it,
01:34who owes me and all that.
01:35I would think that this experience in a weird way has probably made you a better dad, a better husband, a better guy.

01:43And I'm so grateful for that because you are correct.

01:47I would always push people away and say, what's the problem?
01:49You know, you don't enjoy the shag carpet in my Rolls Royce.

01:53It's very easy to shut people up that are questioning you when you're providing this amazing material life.
