00:00Hey, Bill, man, you got a book coming out, huh?
00:03Talk to tell us about a buddy of mine and I are working on something right now that's definitely needed
00:09in today's society.
00:11A guy named Michael Harper, who is the founder of Patriot Tactical.
00:15He's an extremely accomplished dentist out in Scottsdale.
00:20And, you know, he brought me on about a year ago and we have the same kind of train of
00:26thought.
00:27And he's we've been working on this project.
00:31And, you know, for right now, it's got a title of from domesticate from domesticated to dangerous, reclaiming masculinity in
00:39a culture that wants you weak.
00:42Can you relate to that?
00:44Oh, my God.
00:47Exactly.
00:49Yes.
00:50Absolutely, man.
00:52I dig this.
00:52All right here, man, Bill, do you like today's professional wrestling and how, you know what, back in the day,
00:59man, it just seemed more blood and guts more.
01:01There was more like work and there were more workers.
01:04I don't know.
01:05It's more.
01:07Made for television today.
01:09Back then, man, it was just great workers, road warriors yourself.
01:14I mean, do you like where it is today?
01:18I will be perfectly honest with you.
01:21I'm the last one to pass judgment on it because I don't watch it, except for the fact that obviously
01:26I scroll through the news and I see a couple articles and I'll click on them every once in a
01:31while.
01:31And, you know, a couple of guys they got there are wonderful.
01:34But that but beyond that, it's nothing like it was when I was there.
01:40It's nothing like it was when I was at WCW.
01:44You don't have superheroes walking around in the in the, you know, backstage by any stretch of the imagination.
01:51They're they're kind of fabricated.
01:54You know, it's more based on drama now than is the physical aspect of it.
02:00And, you know, one thing that that just shows me how much it's changed back in the day, as Hogan
02:07told me, you know, you can't overexpose yourself.
02:11Right.
02:11And you can't show up every every Monday night.
02:15And when I did, it was a surprise and people were floored.
02:21Right.
02:21And nowadays they announce who's going to be there.
02:26Right.
02:27So the element of surprise, yeah, I mean, they may throw you a curveball, but the element of surprise of
02:34cool, you know, big name stars showing up out of nowhere is kind of gone.
02:39And, you know, for me, that that that's wrong.
02:44You know, you you've got to pay these people back by showing up when you're not advertised and giving them
02:51something really to cheer for.
02:53And, you know, in a simple microcosm that that to me is kind of the biggest difference in the business
03:00right now.
03:01They want to tell you everything and try to entertain you.
03:03And, you know, look at a TKO took it over.
03:06And I don't know how much wrestling fans they are, but quite obviously the bottom line is more important than
03:13I think the product at this point.
03:15So we see roster cuts.
03:18We see different angles going this way and that way.
03:21And it's just nothing like it used to be, man.
03:24It's just it's it's nothing like it used to be.
03:26It's a shame.
