00:00So last one here for you, Pat Day Mile at Churchill Downs.
00:04What an honor, huh, Pat?
00:05Another great honor put on you there.
00:07You must have loved that.
00:09Well, you know, when Mr. Flannery called me and he said, Pat, he said, you know, the derby trial, which
00:14is generally run on the first Saturday, you know, the last Saturday in April of, you know, the opening day
00:20of Churchill Downs.
00:21Years ago, many trainers would use that for a prep.
00:23They'd run on that Saturday and come back the next Saturday for the derby.
00:27But they had quit doing that.
00:29And it sort of lost its place.
00:31And Mr. Flannery said, you know, we're considering moving that to derby day.
00:34Put it on the undercard.
00:36And with your permission, we'd like to call it the Pat Day Mile.
00:39I said, permission?
00:40How about my blessings?
00:41I mean, what a tremendous honor to, you know, to have a race named after you on the undercard at
00:48Kentucky Derby.
00:49You know, obviously, you know, the greatest day in racing in America.
00:53And just so pleased and honored that they would recognize me like that.
00:59So glad to see you there.
00:59You
