In a previous video I mentioned some pop culture items that occured in 2016 may be hinted at in 1987 Sega ninja hack'n slash arcade video game, Shinobi. The 1989 Genesis sequel, The Revenge Of Shinobi, features an enemy boss at the end of Mission 6 called "The Metamorpher". He appears in two forms: first as a character who may closely resemble Marvel comic book superhero Spider-Man. Midway through the fight he sprouts wings & transforms into something nearly identical to DC hero Batman!

Jake Gyllenhaal may be the actor who came the closes to playing both Spider-Man (Peter Parker) & Batman (Bruce Wayne) in a movie. He reportedly auditioned for Chris Nolan's Batman Begins in 2005 & may have filled in for Tobey Maguire following a back injury in the lead up to Spider-Man 2 (2004).
Gyllenhaal played Mysterio (Quentin Beck) in Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019.
