I point out a future reference associating actor Barry Corbin and the state of the Alaska present in WarGames (1983). He later played businessman Maurice Minnifield (guy wearing the NASA hat) in CBS TV series Northern Exposure (1990-1995). In a scene at 1 hour 19 minutes, the WOPR computer simulates a Soviet attack on North America and the air defense facility goes on alert due to the spoofing of fighter planes in the airspace of Alaska. Corbin's character Gen. Jack Beringer has some screentime in this scene.
