There are apparently many unusual easter eggs contained in the Technos Double Dragon video games (1987+). I thought a piece of music heard in Mission 2 (& in the opening mission of the NES / Famicom version) of Double Dragon II: The Revenge ('88) may sound like the theme music to the Peanuts (Charles M. Schulz) animation.

Other clues to support this theory in the Double Dragon games: Note the collections of construction materials in the background of some of the stages. Steel beams in Mission 2 (commonly used in modern buildings). Double Dragon II: The Revenge in 1988, has more of these raw materials, including bricks & cut logs. The groups of wood made me think "WOODSTOCK", the name of a Peanuts character (Snoopy's Best Friend).

Marvel Comics (known for superhero Spider-Man) may point the way to some other links. They published Double Dragon as a 6 issue mini series in 1991. There was a crossover Spider-Man / Peanuts comic strip (a collaboration by Schulz, John Romita Sr. & fan Mike Burkey). This was published in The Romita Legacy in 2010. One thing that takes place in the story? With some assistance: Charlie Brown actually kicks the football after Lucy props it up!

00:00We're talking about knowledge of the future of movies, YouTube channel, Easter Egg Psychic.
00:05There are a lot of strange and interesting Easter eggs in the original Double Dragon arcade game from 1987.
00:14One that I never expected to see in this game may relate to the Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and Peanuts gang,
00:23a cartoon and comic strip written and illustrated by Charles M. Schultz.
00:27This became a real cornerstone of American pop culture.
00:32So for this one I was again tipped off by a piece of music present on the soundtrack.
00:40You can hear this in Double Dragon 2 The Revenge, the 88 sequel arcade video game.
00:47The track listing for this tune is Mission 2.
00:51Also the opening tune to Mission 1 in the NES Famicom version.
00:57It's not exactly the Peanuts theme, but it could easily be a rearrangement.
01:04I looked into this.
01:05Indicators to Peanuts in the Double Dragon games.
01:09An obvious one to me is some of the collections of building materials in the stages.
01:17You'll see piles of lumber, for example, and different cuts and dimensions.
01:22One example of this can be seen right at the start of Mission 2.
01:26When I saw this, this could be a reference to Woodstock, the yellow bird and Peanut, Snoopy's best friend.
01:35Marvel Comics.
01:37Who published Double Dragon as a six-issue miniseries in 1991.
01:44Marvel, of course, known for the superhero of Spider-Man.
01:47Now it turns out that there was actually a Peanuts Spider-Man crossover comic strip.
01:56Apparently this was a collaboration between Charles Schultz, Jonah Romita Sr., and collector and fan Mike Berkey.
02:05It was published in the Romita Legacy book in 2010.
02:11It features some interviews and art from his time at the studio.
02:16One thing that takes place in this story is, with some assistance, Charlie Brown actually kicks the football after Lucy
02:26props it up.
02:27My YouTube channel is Easter Egg Psychic.
02:30There I go back and look at movies and television from the past to analyze these for possible references to
02:35future media.
02:37These may appear in the form of anecdotes, idioms, anagrams.
02:41Hidden in the subtext of the work in question, I also use an unconventional method where I look at the
02:47likenesses of the actors.
02:50And what I've found is you can take the likenesses, match these up to some of the anecdotal items,
02:56and show past, present, and future information about actors and other personalities
03:02that may resemble the personalities in the movie or television episode that you're watching.
03:08My email contact is EasterEggGuy, that's G-U-Y, at Yahoo.com
03:16Thanks for watching.
