00:27i know they were talking about it but i thought this would drag into june july we're two weeks
00:33post the draft i thought these negotiations would carry on a little bit maybe breeze would want to
00:39feel out what the running back market looked like and maybe uh you know ask for 50 55 million i

00:46there was a rumor he'd get 60 million which is obviously too much the jets made a good deal here
00:51and it's good for breeze hall too in effect it's a two-year fully guaranteed deal 29 million bucks
00:58breeze hall guarantees himself over the course of two years in that third year with incentives his
01:05aav could jump up a bit too uh so he'd be making 14.5 million aav in the first two
01:11years this is
01:12being reported in the third year that could jump assuming incentives etc um breeze hall right now
01:17is the third highest paid running back in the nfl on a annual basis um so breeze hall behind saquon
01:25barkley and christian mccaffrey saquon's making 20.6 per year um cmc's 19 mil per year breeze saw
01:33at 15.25 per year over the average of that three years although that third year could go up that

01:39um breeze hall comes in as the third highest paid running back in the nfl and you know what he
01:45deserves
01:45it you know i've been hard on breeze hall before i've said you gotta do better within the tackles
01:52you gotta you gotta have better vision you gotta be more patient listen he's okay at doing that stuff
01:58he's good enough where he really shines breeze hall is what he does outside of the tackles and if this
02:04team can finally get breeze hall the ball in space where you're not using him like a bell cow back

02:11you're giving hb dives to every other play breeze hall can be an electric player and he is an electric
02:18player but he can really move the chains for this jets offense and really put points on the board for
02:24this jets offense that desperately needs it remember breeze hall is a rookie we sometimes forget the the
02:31rookie that was breeze hall before he got hurt in seven games was averaging 5.8 yards to carry he
02:38had
02:38463 rushing yards he had 218 receiving yards five touchdowns in seven games if he didn't get hurt
02:45garrett wilson wasn't winning offensive rookie of the year breeze hall was winning offensive rookie of
02:51the year so this jets team and this offense and frank reich and however this offense shapes out over
02:57the next couple years they need to prioritize getting breeze hall the ball in space i i i think this

03:05team also needs to focus on a running back that works within the tackles so similarly to what the
03:12lions do or have done with jameer gibbs and montgomery now they brought in pacheco let gibbs operate outside
03:20the tackle box give him zones don't play him so much within the tackles let him maneuver outside because
03:29we all know breeze hall can take any opportunity 65 70 yards you can line him up on the outside

03:37can line him up on the inside if he has space breeze hall is one of the most dangerous players

03:42league right up there with anybody we've seen him play receiver where he ran a streak pattern for a
03:48touchdown we've seen him take screens to the house we've seen him take outside zones to the house that's the
03:54kind of stuff that i want to do with breeze hall and i think the jets need to prioritize that

03:59forward so again breeze hall um it didn't go up until july when that deadline was looming july 15th
04:06that that deadline to um get into long-term deals with your franchise taggies um not for breeze breeze

04:55somebody that i i i'm very excited about because of his potential and and i don't even think we have
05:04scratched the surface with with with breeze hall he's 24 he's about to turn 25 at the end of may
05:10shout outs to the to the may babies out there i'm one of them um breeze hall somebody that if
05:15we can get
05:16him back to that rookie form and even better i mean he was just a rookie and he was tearing

05:21league apart imagine if he got better and stronger and faster he has to uh fully recover obviously from
05:29his you know previous knee injury but if we can get breeze hall on a trajectory like what the eagles
05:37did for saquon barkley when he had some injury issues in new york we might get like a second life

05:43breeze hall that's even better than anything we've ever imagined there is no reason breeze hall
05:49isn't able to put together 1500 total yards in a season there's no reason and and and that's the
05:56floor why not 2000 total yards again this offense is gonna be pretty dang good assuming the quarterback

06:18bookend tackles there's a lot to work with there man and you're not gonna know as a defensive
06:26coordinator who to key in on are we keying in on garrett today well what about omar cooper jr
06:30what about kenyan sadiq oh breeze hall is just you know flying all over the place out of the backfield
06:36what do you want to put some guys in the box well how are you going to guard those receivers

06:41we have also 80 mitchell that's that's a speedster that can just you know take the top off this offense
06:48has a lot of things that they can do it's about the play calling it's about the coaching and it's
06:54about the quarterback play and that will help breeze hall blossom into maybe one of the better running
07:00backs in the nfl and he's not far from there you want to rank running backs out breeze is around

07:05you want to put him 9 10 11 12 whatever he's around that top 10-ish range we can get

07:24either look at braylon allen this year and see if he's a suitable option to be that sort of bell

07:42for gibbs this year i love the deal it makes sense again the jets are not paying anybody i've stated
07:50this a million times before they're not paying anyone there's no contracts that we have to worry
07:56about sauce is out of here the only contract that really is you know gonna hit the cap every year
08:02you're gonna have to look at it but oh okay that's a big one is garrett wilson who's making 130

08:07dollars over the course of four years it comes in at 32 and a half aav totally worth it by

08:12then you have breeze hall he's the second biggest contract on the team right now literally a third of
08:18of garrett's deal so um the jets have money to spend keep good players there was a time when i
08:25was saying you know what let breeze go you can always find a running back does he even want to
08:30be here he seems like he's tweeting you know he's a little passive aggressive and how he tweets and
08:35maybe we're gonna have another sauce situation and you know i've i've had my my fair share of opinions
08:41on sauce garner but breeze hall is an electric nfl offensive weapon is what i want to call him
08:50and i think we got to think of him more as an offensive piece weapon more than a running back
08:56jameer gibbs is an offensive weapon b john robinson's an offensive weapon um christian mccaffrey's an
09:03offensive weapon that's something that they have to do with breeze hall do not make him a bell cow
09:09hb dive a b gap runner strictly do actually the opposite and i think we'll see a lot of points
