00:00The Giants yesterday brought four old wide receivers in for a workout and
00:05signed three of them. Yeah. Excuse me? So Odell Beckham Jr., who in the last three
00:10years combined has had 45 catches and missed all of 20-22 completely. He's one
00:15of them. Juju Smith-Schuster, who never really looked all that great outside of a
00:20year and a half maybe in Pittsburgh. That was a big disappointment in Kansas City
00:24if you ask Chiefs fans. Yeah. He's one. And then Alex Earl's former boyfriend,
00:29who's really a punt return, kick return specialist. Yeah. Braxton Berrios. The
00:33Giants guy, what's his name again? Oshinsky. Oshinsky. He was supposed to be
00:38their punt and kick returner. He tore his Achilles. So the Berrios one, actually, I
00:43get. He doesn't fumble the ball at all. I'll average seven to ten yards a return,
00:48which is not great, but, you know, he's good. He's fine. He's competent, right?
00:52But I'm looking at it going, you guys keep telling me that the Giants are going to
00:57win ten games this year or right around ten games. So I'm going to give you some
01:00grace and say nine to eleven. That gives you a chance to win ten.
01:05Okay. And I'm looking at the team going, I think your running game is average at
01:09best with Tyron Tracy and Cam Scadaboo. Yeah. All right. So I don't think it's a
01:14great running attack. It's good. It's average. It's definitely not. All right. I look at
01:18your wide receivers. It's very clear after seeing Malik neighbors, you know, limp to
01:22first base in the Brian Burns charity softball game that he's not going to be ready for September
01:27one. Maybe October one, fingers crossed, if you're lucky. So I'm looking at the wide
01:32receiving core now, and I'm saying to myself, Wanda Robinson ain't there anymore. He went to
01:37Tennessee. You guys hate Hyatt, right? So who's your wide receiving core? Three dudes in
01:45their mid to late thirties. They're all younger than you realize. Well, Juju's 29. Odell's 33.
01:51And Barrios is 30. And Barrios is 30, right? 30, yeah. All right. So I exaggerated by a couple
01:55years. I'm allowed to. I'm 40. In any event. Yeah. So you've got three guys who we know their
02:00names. Right. But again, have not been productive. No. You have no defensive backs on that squad
02:05that you can name right now. Your defensive line lost Dexter Lawrence. Yes. Who's been your
02:10best rusher and defensive lineman for the last four or five years. And I know you've got Arvel
02:15Reese, who should be a rock star. He'll be great. And obviously you expect a lot more
02:19now out of the Trump hating Abdel Carter. All right. He has to now step up in year
02:24two. Yeah. And you've got a second year quarterback that played, what, 10 games last year. With
02:28them. And he's acting like he's Joe Namath, but hasn't played like Joe Namath yet. You're
02:33right about that. But you do skip over. And I think a very good offensive line. Yes. I
02:38think they're going to have a very good offensive line. Right. So I do think. I think he's going
02:42to be a stud. I do. I think he's going to be a stud. I will give you that their
02:45offensive
02:45line should be good. I think it's going to be a good offensive line. Andrew Thomas is
02:49still there. He did his contract. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Great. Strong offensive line, which
02:52helps everybody. Like your weapons aren't very good. No. Your defense on paper is not
02:59going to be a top 10 defense. John Harbaugh, who I thought underperformed more than overperformed
03:06in Baltimore, is going into his first year now as the head coach. And I'm trying to figure
03:12out now why you people have weed that you don't share with me. Because I wish I lived
03:19in such a fantasy land where you're going to have the New York Giants winning double
03:22digit games. Like they were a five win team last year. And it's not just Ethan. It's
03:28every giant fan I know and take calls from on the radio in the afternoon have convinced
03:34themselves that just because John Harbaugh is there, you're winning double digit games.
03:40And I'm trying to figure out, like I said to my radio partner the other day, who's a
03:44dire giant fan. Let's be honest now. What grade do you give the Giants off season? And
03:50I'm not saying just one aspect in totality, right? So you have the draft. I think Arvo Reese
03:55is a great pick. I'll give you that. I think overall the draft was good. Okay. Um, your owner
04:01who's a gallivanting around the world with Jeffrey Epstein. I was at the draft this year.
04:06Yeah. That's not great. Okay. They made him sell the team to his kids, but he was at the
04:09draft. So he's still the president of the New York Giants. And I think chairman of the
04:14board. So you've got the Epstein stuff. You want to get rid of Joe Shane, but you gave him
04:19a multi-year extension despite the fact he's got no power there as your general manager.
04:24Right. And I can go on and on and on. You have this issue now with Jackson Dart and
04:29Abdel Carter over politics. Right. Right. Dexter Lawrence is no longer a giant. Like what grade do you
04:35give the Giants off season? Uh, B minus. B minus. Give it a B minus. B minus. And here's why.
04:43B minus. B minus. Okay. The letter starts with a C. Now you could decide whether it's a minus,
04:51a nothing or a plus. Okay. But don't think for a minute that this Giants off season is anything
04:57other than a C.
04:57C.
