00:04I love a spooky season.
00:06What are you doing?
00:07What do you think?
00:08Halloween's right around the corner, babe.
00:10I thought that I could just bring a little bit of costumes,
00:14a little extra fun festive cheer to the season,
00:16and they might want to wear it at auction.
00:18Who?
00:19Our buyers.
00:20Oh, come on.
00:21These buyers aren't going to wear that.
00:22It's ridiculous.
00:23They're not going to wear this stuff.
00:24I bet you they will.
00:25I bet you a hundred bucks you can't get people
00:27to wear that whole basket full of hats.
00:29Okay, you're on.
00:30You know what?
00:30I got one just for you.
00:32I'm not wearing it.
00:33Okay.
00:34Get on over here.
00:35Look it.
00:35Winner, winner, chicken dinner.
00:37Don't you feel good?
00:38No, it feels like it's going to fall on.
00:45When storage units are abandoned,
00:49the treasures within
00:52are put up for auction.
00:54I think I scored on this.
00:58I'm going to go to Huntington Beach today.
01:08I'm really excited.
01:09It's not far from me.
01:10It's like a half hour.
01:12But I grew up here.
01:13I went to high school in Huntington Beach,
01:14which is literally right down the street from this facility.
01:20Yeah, I'm not putting my yearbook picture on TV.
01:23Even if I don't get something good today,
01:25I'm excited to be here,
01:26and I'm just going to, like, hang out.
01:27It's a good spot.
01:29Nostalgic.
01:29I'm excited.
01:32Huntington Beach, where they got lots of water,
01:35which is what my wife keeps texting me to drink
01:37over and over and over again.
01:40You need ice?
01:41You need ice?
01:41You need ice?
01:42No, woman.
01:43Water is ice.
01:44Leave me alone.
01:45If I drink any more water,
01:47I'm going to float to the auction.
01:48But if I get a good locker,
01:49I can celebrate with a nice cold glass of soda.
01:53I don't need nothing but units.
01:56Hydration is for the hydro foods.
02:00Brandy told me about this auction in Huntington Beach
02:02because I can't come to California
02:04without going to a beach auction.
02:07I mean, hello.
02:09So I'm hoping to find some little grandma,
02:12little coastal trinkets.
02:13Little wicker bowls and seagull figurines.
02:16I need you in my life like yesterday.
02:21Hopefully, this is the ticket.
02:26Oh, my God.
02:28It's almost Halloween, America.
02:30And today, I'm going to scare my way to success.
02:35Hello.
02:36How are you?
02:36What's up, girl?
02:37Good.
02:37Good to see you.
02:38I see you got the turkey, huh?
02:40Can I talk you into a little bit of festive fun?
02:42You're a captain.
02:43All day, every day, my chick.
02:46Oh, hello, sweetie.
02:47What's up, Mary?
02:48Hey, kiddie.
02:49What's up, girl?
02:50You can tell her no.
02:52Don't do it.
02:53Don't do it?
02:54No, put it on.
02:55Let me see how cute you are.
02:56Oh!
02:57Yeah, I got my own outfit right here, Danny, boy.
03:00Oh, okay.
03:03I got a costume for you.
03:05Oh, really?
03:06Oh, yeah.
03:07Right on.
03:07Put that right back in the basket.
03:09Look at that.
03:09Oh, my God.
03:10You're so cute.
03:11So?
03:12What?
03:13Here, put another hat on your head.
03:15Just stick this on for two seconds.
03:17What do you think, Kenny?
03:17Wait.
03:18Danny, get a picture of us.

04:06I just feel a bee was gonna land on me.
04:09And sting me with all this.
04:10Kenny, did you so sweet, Kenny?
04:11Oh, no.
04:12I've got too much sugar in me.
04:13That's the problem.

18:55It all says forensics.
18:57Like, CSI .
18:59I don't know why there's bugs in here.
19:00That's upsetting.
19:02But, uh, I want to find somebody to tell me if this is worth any money because this is very
19:06unique.
19:07Okay.
19:08I'm gonna take this.
19:09Find somebody.
19:10Let's go solve a crime.

19:44Mm-hmm.
19:46It's a microscope.
19:48Um, this is definitely probably worth some money.
19:50And I'm gonna find somebody to tell me about this CSI stuff, see if there's more in here.
19:56This dress form is super cute.
19:57I can use this for staging.
19:58Let me say $40.
20:00This is cool.
20:02Microphone.
20:02$50.
20:05Ultimately, this was a pretty good day.
20:07I mean, I came back to nostalgia town, and I found a lot of good stuff.
20:12And I'm gonna investigate that CSI equipment.
20:16I'm pretty excited.
20:20Okay.
20:21I sunk $800 in this locker, so it better be full of coastal trinkets.
20:27Okay.
20:28Let's get after it.
20:29Start at the top.
20:30This is a promising little keepsake box.
20:35Oh.
20:36Perfect.
20:37So, my treasure boxes are about $65.
20:40And I just put one-of-a-kind cool vintage finds in there.
20:44Anything little and trinkety and collectible, I put in my boxes.
20:48So, this is about $30 worth of treasure box items.

21:07A little poker set.
21:09$20.
21:10What is this?
21:12Mustang Survival Immerse Kit.
21:15What?
21:17Oh, it's a U.S. Coast Guard.
21:19An immersion kit that you put yourself in and then get inflates.
21:23Maybe they use this as a flotation advice when they're saving people.
21:27I'm gonna set this thing aside because it looks pretty cool and I don't come across these often.
21:32Putting this thing aside.
21:34Here is a basket full of earphones.
21:37That's $5.
21:38$10.
21:39$15.
21:39$20.
21:40$25.
21:41$30.
21:42Okay.
21:45Oh, it's an autograph of Eddie Vedder.
21:47$50 for this thing.
21:48Electric fireplace.
21:50Looks like it's all in here.
21:51$50.
21:52Um, some of these tools are worth some money.
21:55I'm gonna say $45.
21:58A little teal saucer set.
22:00$20.
22:02Okay.
22:03This is cute.

22:20Has a little stamp on it.
22:21That's good.
22:21There's a lot of little cute things I can use for my train box.
22:25So this is good.
22:26I'm gonna say this box, $65.
22:30Okay.
22:31Labeled fall decorations.
22:34We have some little ribbon stuff for Christmas.
22:38Oh, that doll looks old.
22:39So these are some good ornaments I can use.
22:42Santa figurines.
22:43This box is $75.
22:49Some costume stuff.
22:50This could be a perfect witch.
22:52Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
22:55Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
22:56There's a little cape.
22:57Some hats.

22:59So I'm gonna say $30.
23:01This box.
23:02Oh, it's a CD.
23:03A little record player.
23:05$50.
23:09Uh.
23:10Is that real?
23:15Maybe.
23:16Yeah, I think it's real.
23:17Okay, $50.
23:18$50.
23:19Okay, and some of these pins and these patches are great.
23:22$30.
23:24Okay, here's another immersion suit to go with the other one.
23:28So that's perfect.
23:29So we'll put this aside with the other one.
23:33Okay.
23:34Rapid ditch.
23:35Does this go with the other stuff?
23:37I don't know.
23:39Oh, yep.
23:40There's a first aid kit in here.
23:42It all looks like safety equipment for under the water.
23:47I'm gonna put this aside.
23:48I mean, I was looking for a Coastal Grandma unit,
23:51but I think I found a Coastal Marine Man unit.
23:55I hope he's cute.
23:58Ooh.
23:59These look old.
24:00Little trains.
24:01For the set, $45.

24:05It's a trampoline.
24:07That's where all these poles are for.
24:09So, $100.

24:28Totally 80s, 90s.
24:30$20.
24:31Okay.
24:32These totes, there's a few trinkets that could be worth some money.
24:35So, $15 on each of these.
24:37So, $45 for these three.
24:39Okay.
24:40This is cool.
24:41This old little vintage Schroenhardt piano.
24:48I'm gonna say $50 for it.
24:51Okay.
24:51Well, I barely broke even here.
24:53So, I'm really hoping these survival suits, they rescue me.
24:58Because I need rescuing.
25:02Let me see what this boy do for someone that got me involved in right here.
25:06You know he ain't got a mind like a normal person.
25:10That's a method to my madness.
25:14What the hell this boy done got in here?
25:16Let's get busy right here.
25:18Let's pull this out the way right here.
25:20It's on wheels.
25:21Ain't this something in America?
25:23It's an entertainment set.
25:25A little, um, wood feeling.
25:27What they call it?
25:27Old English.
25:28Probably could set him up to shine him again.
25:30But $15 right here, boy.
25:32Look at this.
25:33Look at this right here.
25:35Or newspapers.
25:36This is all newspapers right here.

25:45I found it.
25:47Jackpot.
25:51Check this book out.
25:56I found him.
25:58He did some .
25:59Dan, I got your ass right here.
26:02Look at this set.
26:06I think I'm gonna keep this one for my own edumacation.
26:10A nice mirror.
26:12About $25.
26:13Oh, I can see.
26:14Dude for soda.
26:17Hey, do you like mayonnaise, too?
26:20Mayonnaise.
26:21So delicious.
26:24These shells ain't worth nothing.
26:27Firewood.
26:27All right, cheers.
26:29Nothing but books.
26:30But this is old, dusty-ass books.
26:32Dust them.
26:35More books.
26:36We got more books.
26:38Boxes of books.
26:39Books.
26:40Books in the drawings.
26:42Books in my drawings.
26:43More books.
26:44This is crazy.
26:46All these boxes are full of books, man.
26:48Books.
26:49Books.
26:49Books on top of books.
26:52Books.
26:53More books, guys.
26:54Look at that.
26:55Getting the best out of yourself and others.
26:58Formation of men's attitude.
27:00Boy, I always got an attitude.
27:02I know why you got an attitude.
27:03Because somebody made a sandwich and ain't put enough mayonnaise on it.
27:06You can't judge a book by its cover, but I got to find somebody who can judge this locker by
27:11its book.
27:11I got to find me a book broker to see how much these books are going to bank me or
27:16break me.
27:16Where you at, book man?
27:20I'm in the library right now.
27:21I'm sorry.
27:26I'm in the library right now.
27:31I sent my books over to Greg Schwabe, owner of Schwabe Books.
27:35He's going to show me how to make some money out of all this paper.
27:39Hey, Kenny.
27:41Hey, welcome.
27:43That is me.
27:44You got my shipment?
27:45Yeah, I do.
27:46Nice to meet you.
27:46Come on back.
27:47Unbelievable, bro.
27:48Look at this.
27:48Look at all these books.
27:49Yeah.
27:50Come on back.
27:51I'll show you more.
27:51You can see we got books here that are all ready to be received into our e-commerce system.
27:56They're all queued up, ready to go.
27:58And you can see back here, these are all books that are all online, currently for sale around the world.
28:05What?
28:05How many books you sell at this?
28:07500 to 1,000.
28:08Wow.
28:08Back in here is where we ship our books.
28:10This is our state-of-the-art scanning machine.
28:13This machine will do everything but make a turkey sandwich for you.
28:16You got to get rid of that machine, bro.
28:17No, we need it.
28:18If you can't make a turkey sandwich.
28:21Anything that has a barcode, we can scan.
28:22Uh-huh.
28:23If it doesn't have a barcode, we have to manually do it.
28:25Uh-huh.
28:25Which is basically, I got to look at it.
28:27Uh-oh.
28:28And evaluate it based upon 10 different things in my head.
28:30You got one of the Microsoft glasses on?
28:32Yeah, there you go.
28:33Something like that.
28:34But fortunately, your books are no barcodes on them.
28:37Mm-hmm.
28:37We got to do it manually.
28:40So we got these all here arranged.
28:41And before we start, I don't want to get paper cuts on your hands.
28:44Oh, yeah.
28:45It'd be hard to pick up hot wings with your cut fingers.
28:47Oh, yeah.
28:48So we got to give you a set of those.
28:50Everybody wears those.
28:52Black on black.
28:53Okay.
28:54First box of books.
28:55The first thing I'm looking for is interesting titles, authors, publishers.
28:59Mm-hmm.
29:00And I could just tell these are all book club editions.
29:02How do I know?
29:02Yeah, how do you know?
29:03I've been doing this too long, since you were born.
29:05So what we do then, off it goes.
29:08Pull out a Mad Magazine.
29:09That's a couple of bucks.
29:10So we're going to save that.
29:12I'm just thumbing through these magazines.
29:13Mm-hmm.
29:13I just see they're just magazines that nobody cares about.
29:17Reader's Digest, old legal guide.
29:19So that's no money?
29:20That's no money.
29:21That's recycled.
29:23So you get money on the recyclable books, too?
29:25$10 a ton.
29:26Hey, that.
29:27Boy, that book.
29:28I could just tell, just the look and feel of this stuff.
29:32It's money.
29:32It's no, it's not money.
29:34It's heavy.
29:34It's heavy.
29:36And we're going to go through it quickly.
29:38These are dated business books, political books.
29:40How can you tell what's a good book?
29:42Because you go through them so fast.
29:43Well, a good book is a book that somebody's going to buy.
29:46What's the number one category y'all sell for books?
29:49It's generally hardback non-fiction.
29:51We're looking for art, history, academic, scholarly, things on guns, knives, weaponry.
29:57Those are all good titles.
29:59So you're telling me you can judge a book by it?
30:02Absolutely.
30:02So here, this box is the best one I've seen so far.
30:05These are all vintage role-playing games from the 60s or the 70s.
30:09There's 10 of them.
30:10So you got some money here.
30:12That goes over here with the good stuff.
30:13All right, now.
30:13This is an interesting book, The Caveman Within Us.
30:18I'm going to hold on to that.
30:20There's a book on The Beatles.
30:21We'll keep that.
30:22Oh, yeah, Yoko Yonko.
30:23These are computer reference books.
30:25This is vintage Apple stuff.
30:27These are probably 20 bucks a piece.
30:29Short American Stories, we'll keep that.
30:31Pull out these fashion magazines.
30:32These can be 15, 20 bucks a piece, depending on who the cover is.
30:35Uh-huh.
30:36These we'll save, too.
30:36These are rock magazines from the 80s.
30:39All this stuff just dated and obsolete.
30:42All this here, you can just get rid of it for me.
30:45No wonder you got them big old shoulders, boy.
30:47You be flipping, bouncing with books everywhere around here, boy.
30:49All day long.
30:54Look at that, boy.
30:55You gotta go faster, my friend.
30:57It's all right.
30:58Oh, yeah.
30:59Look at that, boy.
31:00All right, Greg.
31:01So can you tell me how much my little collection here is worth?
31:04I would say right around 700 bucks.
31:09700?
31:10700 for everything.
31:10Yeah, I'm kind of, I think I paid about 1,300 for the other.
31:16Can we go back through this again and see if we're good?
31:18You're gonna go do that yourself.
31:20I didn't flip the books.
31:22These damn books didn't flip me.
31:27I found a bonafide entomologist, Dr. Kyle Risser, a.k.a. Dr. K.
31:33Dr. K.
31:35Randy.
31:36Hi.
31:36I'm gonna bug him about those cases I found in my locker.
31:39Thanks for coming.
31:40Thanks for having me.
31:41Yeah, of course.
31:42What are you doing over there?
31:43Oh, just, you know, looking for bugs.
31:45Okay.
31:46Yeah, we can head on into the bug cave.
31:47All right, let's go to the bug cave.
31:49Yeah, absolutely.
31:53Welcome to the bug cave.
31:54Thank you, Dr. K.
31:56All right, I got a lot of stuff here.
31:58Let's see what you got.
31:58Awesome.
31:58You excited?
31:59Yeah, absolutely.
32:01Look at all your critters.
32:02None of these can get out, right?
32:03No, they should all be pretty secure.
32:05None of them can hurt you even if they did, so.
32:07Yeah, I'm not really afraid of the bugs.
32:10I have other phobias.
32:11Okay, well, the microscope's an easy place to start.
32:13This is a pretty standard Fisher Scientific from 90s, early 2000s.
32:1710 to 30 times magnification.
32:19There we go.
32:21So this is a forensic light kit.
32:24So they're all different colors or they...
32:25Exactly.
32:26So you can actually look at each one and it has the wavelength of the light that's coming out of
32:30it.
32:31And all of those can illuminate different things.
32:34Different things such as...
32:36So bruises, blood, bugs, hair, bodily fluids.
32:40So who would use this?
32:42Just a CSI agent or...
32:44Yeah, someone that's actually investigating crime scenes.
32:47All right.
32:48So what made you want to be an entomologist?
32:50I mean, did you like critters when you were a kid?
32:52Always.
32:52My mom likes to tell stories about having to keep fish tank nets at the washer.
32:57Because as a toddler, I'd put roly polies in my pockets.
32:59Oh, everybody did that.
33:01Yeah.
33:01I love roly polies.
33:02Yeah, I just never quite grew out of it.
33:05Oh my God.
33:07You certainly did not.
33:09All right.
33:09I'm not even going to ask what's in his other pockets.
33:12Let's see what we got here.
33:15All right.
33:16Well, immediately there you've got...
33:17That's an odor.
33:18Yeah, you've got some entomology stuff here.
33:21These are, it looks like, insects and alcohol.
33:22That's a good bark.
33:23Large blossom beetles.
33:24Yeah, yeah.
33:24And these are good entomology collection tools.
33:27As we get deeper in here...
33:29Yeah, these are sort of classic, some glass vials.
33:32This is a kill jar.
33:33A what?
33:34A kill jar, yeah.
33:35So, this is ethyl acetate.
33:37Okay.
33:37This is what we use to kill the bugs.
33:39And that's what this is for.
33:40Okay.
33:41So, this substrate here at the bottom of this jar is porous.
33:44And you pour a little bit of this in here, and it soaks into this to keep the bugs dry.
33:48And then you can put the bugs in here, put the lid on, and they die.
33:51Okay.
33:52So, that's what the ethyl acetate is for.
33:53You've got the alcohol, the ethyl alcohol.
33:55That's most likely what's in these.
33:57And then we've got kerosene alcohol acid.
34:00Oh.
34:00And it's basically a fixing agent.
34:03So, a lot of times if you take larvae, so like caterpillars, fly maggots, beetle grubs,
34:08if you put them straight into alcohol, it destroys their color, they turn black, they shrink, they change shape.
34:15It can really mess them up.
34:16This does not do that.
34:17The kerosene preserves them intact, keeps the color intact.
34:19For the really colorful ones.
34:20Exactly.
34:21You want to put on some gloves?
34:23Open one up?
34:23Sure.
34:26All right, I'm ready.
34:27I'm gloved up.
34:29Everything from dragonflies.
34:30Cool.
34:31This is a little water scorpion.
34:33It's a predator.
34:34Oh.
34:34Actually, this is a fun one.
34:36This is a Dobson fly.
34:38Did you say Dotson?
34:39All right.
34:40Dobson.
34:40Yeah, yeah.
34:41The dragonflies are actually delicious.
34:43They just kind of taste like fish.
34:44They're delicious.
34:45Okay.
34:46Yeah.
34:47What else we got in there?
34:48Anything good?
34:49This is vermiculite.
34:50Because when you're pulling fly maggots out of a body, they're very juicy and covered
34:54in goo.
34:55And so you put them in some vermiculite, it sucks up the moisture, keeps the maggots alive
34:59for you.
34:59What do you mean?
35:00You mean like a human body?
35:01Sure.
35:02That's what forensics is all about, right?
35:03Okay.
35:04So you can calculate time of death based on the insects on the corpse.
35:08I missed 10 seconds ago when I didn't know that.
35:12All right.
35:12So, okay.
35:13I need value here because I'm probably not going to take up this hobby.
35:18Sure.
35:18How much do you think that I have for all of this stuff?
35:21The microscope, the light kit, the tools?
35:23All of that combined.
35:33Probably an easy $1,200.
35:36That's fantastic.
35:37That's awesome.
35:38I'm glad you enjoyed it.
35:39Thanks for having me, Dr. K.
35:40Anytime.
35:41Thanks for coming to the bug cave.
35:42I mean, can I just come over and hang out and play with your bugs?
35:44Anytime.
35:45I'll cook you up some cricket cookies.
35:46I don't know if I'm not that adventurous.
35:47Cricket cookies, is that what you just said?
35:49Yeah.
35:49It's an easy one for beginners.
35:51A nice crispy cricket in a chocolate chip cookie is delicious.
35:54Delicious.
35:54Good stepping stone.
35:55Yeah.
35:55But the average American eats about two pounds of bugs that's just in their processed foods.
36:00Because, like, if a company is making loaves of bread and a roach falls into the machine,
36:04they're not stopping and cleaning that machine.
36:06It's just going into the breads.
36:07So, yeah.
36:09Cool.
36:09And, honestly, the bugs are the least of your concern.
36:11You should see how much rat poop's allowed on your food.
36:20I found U.S. Coast Guard Chief Boson Carter McGuire online.
36:25And he agreed to help me with the gear I found.
36:27He sounded kind of cute.
36:29Carter?
36:30Well, hey, Mary.
36:30How's it going?
36:31Welcome to Station Los Angeles, Long Beach.
36:33Nice to meet you.
36:34Nice to meet you.
36:36Oh, my ears didn't deceive me.
36:38This place is freaking awesome.
36:41So, tell me a little bit about what goes on here.
36:43In the Coast Guard here at L.A., we got, obviously, you can see these fast response cutters.
36:47We have the small boats, the lifeguards.
36:49We got some border patrol and some aids and navigation units.
36:52Nice.
36:52Yeah, we primarily do search and rescue, federal law enforcement, port security, aids and navigation.
36:57Have you saved anyone?
36:58I have, yes.
36:59Wow, that's so awesome.
37:00How many people have you saved?
37:02The past year, we've probably saved over 200 lives.
37:04Oh, my God.
37:05That's amazing.
37:06That's so cool.
37:06I'm so, like, honored to be here.
37:09Welcome aboard.
37:09Well, I found all this stuff in a storage unit.
37:12So, I'm hoping you can tell me what it is and...
37:14We'll see what we got.
37:16A pretty nice bag.
37:18So, this is a first aid kit and a dry bag.
37:20If you go in the water, you have first aid equipment and it keeps it dry.
37:24This is a full kit.
37:26Everything looks in, like, really good condition.
37:28Nice.
37:29Let's see what else we got.
37:31Here, do you want to hold that one?
37:32Yeah.
37:33What is this?
37:34So, these are automatic inflating life jackets.
37:37These are actually really, really nice.
37:38You can see that they're not armed right here.
37:41This still has the tag on it.
37:42And normally, whenever you install a CO2 cartridge, you'll see this red right here in this little
37:47glass window go green.
37:49And that means it's armed.
37:49So, if you enter the water, there's a dissolvable pill in there that whenever that pill dissolves,
37:53it'll automatically inflate.
37:54Oh, wow.
37:55If that doesn't work, then you have a pull handle here that acts as a secondary.
37:58It's the CO2 cartridge, which is still in the wrapper.
38:01It's in perfect condition.
38:03Yeah, I'm kind of listening, but mostly looking.
38:06Who would normally use these?
38:07We use these in the Coast Guard every time we go out.
38:10They're pretty heavy.
38:11Great find.
38:12What else do we got?
38:13So, these are emerging suits.
38:15So, these things have been around since the 1930s.
38:17Wow.
38:18So, they're commonly called Gumby suits.
38:19Did you ever watch the show Gumby whenever, like, back in from the 50s or whatever?
38:23Like, that's what you're going to look like whenever you put this thing on.
38:26They're pretty goofy, but they're essential for preventing hypothermia in the water.
38:30They're required on commercial vessels.
38:31We carry them on Coast Guard vessels.
38:33And basically, if your boat is sinking, and it's like worst case scenario,
38:36think of Alaska and the Bering Sea.
38:38Yeah.
38:38You have three minutes you've got to put this thing on.
38:41From the time the captain says we're abandoning the ship, you run up,
38:43you throw this thing out, you don it, you check each other,
38:46make sure that you're good to go, and then you enter the water.
38:48You should be able to put this thing on in 60 seconds or less.
38:50Yeah, okay.
38:51I'm up for the challenge.
38:52I got skills.
38:53Cool.
38:54So whenever you'd run up to the ship and you'd grab this thing,
38:56and then you'd just pop it out like that.
38:58Okay.
38:59You roll it out.
39:00Oh, wow.
39:00That is like Gumby.
39:01That thing's huge.
39:03And these things are so big because you're not supposed to take your shoes off or anything.
39:05You wear your shoes, you wear everything whenever you put this thing on.
39:08These are cool.
39:08If there's multiple people, so let's say like 10 of you jump in the water,
39:11you tethered each other.
39:12That's cute.
39:14Should we put these things on?
39:16Let's put them on.
39:16Okay.
39:17Well, you go first so I can watch you.
39:20All right.
39:20Let's do it.
39:22You ready to sweat?
39:24Am I going to sweat in this?
39:25Is it that hot?
39:26It's pretty warm.
39:26Oh, yeah.
39:28Um, things are heating up around here.
39:31It's kind of like a balancing act.
39:33You just got to wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.
39:35Okay.
39:36Yeah, this looks kind of hard.
39:38Then you got to find all your finger holes.
39:41And then the hardest part's the zippers.
39:43That's pretty much off you go.
39:44Okay, I've got to put my hair up for this.
39:46And then you just check each other out.
39:49My feet are too big for this.
39:51I never would have guessed.
39:52I think Gumby was hot, but here we are.
39:56Okay.
39:58See what you got, Mary.
40:04Whoops.
40:07Jeez.
40:10You're so freaking...
40:11How long do you think this is taking you?
40:14The ship's sinking.
40:16I need to practice with crowds.
40:17The ship's sinking.
40:18For sure I'm dead.
40:19I'm like out of breath.
40:23There you go.
40:23Pretty good.
40:24Your feet are not in the hole.
40:25But this is why you're supposed to have buddies like assist you.
40:27So I could...
40:28I'm for sure going to drown in the barren sea.
40:31The good thing is this thing will keep you afloat.
40:33Yeah, nice.
40:34There you go.
40:35You're ready to go.
40:37Okay, so the real rescuing I need is financially.
40:40So how much is all this stuff worth you think?
40:44You know, really if you're in distress, all this stuff would be priceless because it's
40:48all life-saving equipment.
40:49But I think with everything you got here, I think you'd easily get $1,800 for it.
40:55Awesome.
40:56That's keeping me afloat.
40:57What do you think about going out on the boat and doing it in the water?
41:00We'll buddy check each other, we'll jump in the water, and we can tether each other.
41:04Okay.
41:05We'll look like sea otters.
41:06Sick.
41:08Mary Padian led the fleet with a handsome profit of $1,900.
41:13Brandy Passante netted 1,700 bugs.
41:18A hydrated Ivy Calvin left the auction underwater.
41:23While Kenny Crossley's dual persona slashed his dream of a Halloween treat.
41:31All right, Mary, so here we are, out on a boat.
41:34So are you ready to do this?
41:35Yeah, I'm ready.
41:36Let's do it.
41:37All right, we got to go hood up.
41:38You ready for this?
41:38I'm ready.
41:39All right, we're going up.
41:40You ready?
41:40No!
41:42Is that too claustrophobic?
41:44No, it's too claustrophobic.
41:48All right, what do you think?
41:50We're ready for the sea.
41:53We're going to do three, two, one, and then we're going to step off the cross and cover
41:56in the water, just like we talked about.
41:58You ready?
41:58All right.
42:00Cross and cover.
42:01Three, two, one, and then step.
42:09All right, try to put your feet down.
42:13Okay, feather together.
42:14Okay.
42:17Well, I get it.
42:19I'm not drowning.
42:19What?
42:21I don't like it.
42:23Safety.
