00:03to our new house making it at home now the real work begins just ripping it apart with my bare
00:15hands like therapy you know you could do anger management courses with demolishing walls I am
00:24planning to run this year's London Marathon for the Institute of Cancer he said I mean that's
00:30before waiting for the prognosis a double break in the leg is extremely serious he's going to be out
00:38of action for everything my dad has come over for a working holiday look at this wall
00:52Laura is a friend of mine basically we're doing stucco plastering yeah he could make
00:57our millions in Italy skill set yeah Jazz has definitely pulled out the bag shall we
01:08it's so cool
01:19it's been a couple of months since Jasmine John and their kids moved into their dream forever home
01:24on the Costa del Sol and two weeks since John's accident put him very much out of action the
01:31frustration is off the charts we were just about to get the the whip cracked with things Jazz was
01:37getting quieter at work and we could start to focus on stuff and then I've managed to break
01:44my leg in two places I would say probably one of the second or third most frustrating and darkest days
01:51of my life since his accident everything has ground to a halt with the help of local builder Carlos and
02:00his team Jasmine and John had started phase one of the build tackling the first floor bedrooms in
02:06the family bathroom but they're a long way from completion we've had to say to Carlos that we
02:13haven't got anything ready for you to do right now John is really worried that we're going to lose him
02:19because he's going to have other work obviously he's going to be doing different things the chances of
02:24us finding someone else to help us do this renovation in a hurry are very slim as their
02:33summer deadline is now just over four months away there can be no more breaks in this renovation we
02:40don't have a plan B and our schedule as far already out the window as it is will be further
02:47out the
02:47window in that pool and there's no water in that pool so it will land with a big splash and
02:53break into
02:53pieces we really need to gas gates on time is passing and it's not just the build that's been put
03:07on
03:07hold one minute you're training for a marathon you're setting your sights on the marathon the next minute
03:12you're just setting your sights on healing I even remember lying on the paddle court with my broken
03:18leg thinking crumbs how will I run a marathon with this injury whilst he is obviously very disappointed
03:30he's taking it better than I thought he would I almost thought at one point he's probably gonna
03:37say that he'll do it in a wheelchair or something because he's so determined
03:47today we've got a follow-up appointment at the hospital to look at John's leg I think they're
03:54going to x-ray it just to check that it's healing okay now begins the ordeal of getting him in
04:02and out
04:02of the car if I lift it up and you whip out the pillows all right let me get ahead
04:19of you freedom
04:23okay oh that's the closest you've come to a hug for ages
04:41it's a 30 minute drive up the coast to the hospital in Marbella
04:46my taxi driver
04:51nurse
04:53general dog's body
04:54saviour
04:57and also guess what Friday is Valentine's Day
05:00what are you gonna take me out for dinner
05:03where are we gonna go
05:09get that bandage off and we are at a point in the recovery
05:12it's like a landmark the next few landmarks are bandage off being able to walk on a walking frame
05:19being able to walk on crutches being able to walk on one crutch being able to walk on no crutches
05:25and a couple of hours later
05:39the hospital visit went really well and the doctor said that he looks like he's improving a lot
05:46his poor leg does still look really swollen and kind of looks a weird colour
05:52but it's really good progress overall
05:55and well I can't wait for him to be back on his feet to be honest
06:01keep trying to work out how to hold me that looks romantic
06:20it's very different the way they treat a leg break now
06:24there's no cast
06:26so you've got basically a broken leg that's just there
06:31according to the doctors they say it's actually better for the recovery
06:35but I guess that's the advancement of modern medicine
06:47I'd say it's
06:48it's been almost as challenging and stressful as having a newborn baby
06:56it's been that life changing
07:03with his bandage off and a bit of confidence back
07:07over the next few days John's moving around the house a little more
07:11it feels like it's been such a long time since John's accident
07:14but he is making amazing progress
07:19they've said to him that he can start walking with the crutches
07:24just putting a tiny bit of weight on the injured leg
07:27he's been doing lots of things like loading the dishwasher
07:31and even a bit of cooking
07:34the only problem he has when he makes food he makes it
07:37and then he can't go anywhere because he can't hold a plate
07:39and walk with the crutches
07:42bless him
07:44with renewed positivity
07:46Jasmine and John are keen to get phase one of the build
07:49tackling the first floor with its three bedrooms
07:51and two bathrooms going again
07:55and have asked Carlos to come back to work in the family bathroom
08:04oh such a relief to have Carlos back
08:07with his lovely smile
08:09and always you know has this amazing can-do attitude
08:16I've been hating having that bathroom just sat like that empty like a cave for all this time
08:24so it is really nice to get things back on track and resume the work that we've started
08:32it had been left with the walls and floor prepped and the ceiling lowered for spotlights
08:36no suite or tiles yet
08:39but the lights can go in
08:40although not in the spots Carlos had planned
09:06I'm not sure about the bathroom how quick it's gonna be there's a lot
09:10a lot to do and also some of the stuff like the underfloor heating Carlos hasn't done before
09:19it's quite unusual to have underfloor heating in Spain so he's gonna get someone in to help him with that
09:26at the moment I'm kind of feeling relieved to get the project going again and to get things moving
09:33but at the same time this sort of knot in my stomach of dread that something's gonna go wrong
09:45with work back underway and the bathroom suite and tiles now ordered online to a local business
09:51Jasmine's called in a decorator to continue where they left off in the kids bedrooms
09:57my dad has come over for a working holiday
10:04right hopefully we haven't forgotten anything
10:08yeah well it's not that far to the shop
10:11no exactly
10:12it's good to have someone like my dad that you can rely on to do a brilliant job
10:17and you know I'm just really grateful to him for coming all this way
10:22to do some painting and decorating
10:24you all right dad do you want some tea
10:26yes please love
10:29no sugar
10:30no sugar
10:31I've been painting ever since I was 12 years old so that's 58 years ago
10:38I used to go with me dad at you know when I was at school
10:41sadly me dad died and we needed money coming into the house so I picked up the toolbox and
10:47went on yeah it's lovely to come and it's great to be able to do something that the kids are
10:53gonna like
10:53I think that you know it's something that they'll remember it remember me for I'm sure you'll paint over it
10:58in a couple of years hopefully I'll come and paint over it myself
11:03what do you think then there's a lot of work to be done isn't there here looking around a load
11:07of work to do
11:09is it worse than you were expecting well it won't be finishing it while I'm here this
11:14for two weeks no but hopefully we can get those bedrooms done he's gonna start with Albion's bedroom
11:20I've moved everything out of there already and I've put Albie temporarily in with his sister and what we're gonna
11:27do is wallpaper one wall we've got this really amazing
11:34rainbow vomit wallpaper and it's it's like a big sort of mural almost I think I'm just trying to
11:40deliver what Albion's asked for but in a kind of way that will look nice and tasteful my kids you
11:48know
11:48they've had a lot of upheaval with moving from the UK out to Spain this is their home that's why
11:54I kind
11:54of have indulged them a little bit with what they want in their rooms so you see we're just a
12:04blank canvas
12:05at the moment really yeah and we've already done a little bit of work in here so it's just had
12:10a quick
12:11coat of paint to tart it up a little bit but it's still very basic and all the look at
12:17all the electrics
12:20me and dad get on really well we have a huge amount of mutual respect we have a laugh we
12:29have a very
12:29loving relationship my dad he is a funny character I remember when I was probably in my mid-20s
12:41he said to me you're the head of the family now
12:45and I was like I don't want to be the head of the family I'm busy like partying and stuff
12:54we would do anything for each other but we don't expect anything of each other
12:59apart from coming to decorate the children's bedrooms of course
13:03shall we put a little bit on the wall try it yeah try it just to just to see how
13:08it looks
13:09there you go it's quite nice what do you think do you like it or is it too yellowy
13:13no I like it I think I'll be all like it shame John can't come upstairs to have a look
13:19he'll probably hate it take a picture I will take a picture I like it
13:28but in the picture it looks so much darker
13:33why look looks like someone's peed up the wall it does look darker doesn't it just take
13:44mixing it with a drop of white you can see we're going to come up with a much paler yellow
13:49which might it still looks yellow next to the white I think that's better I think it is once
13:59it's on all the wall you know yeah I think it looks loads better yeah I mean it's great that
14:09we are
14:10getting things moving again that makes me very happy but we've had such a setback with the broken
14:17leg and there is so much still to do here I don't know what the timeline's even looking like now
14:24it's going to be a lot of hard work to get everything finished by the summer
14:46with Carlos's team working the odd day to prep the bathroom for tiling
14:50and Jasmine's dad Peter busy in Albion's bedroom slow but steady progress is being made on the first
14:57floor we spent some time online and John found this amazing colorful beautiful mural wallpaper which
15:08my dad's going to hang in Albie's room so it's the moment of truth we've got to open it up
15:18and see
15:18if it is as good in reality as it looked online Jasmine has ordered the paper from a company in
15:27Sweden who have printed the sheets to her measurements for the one wall it's cost around 300 pounds
15:34oh it's lovely I was skeptical I was skeptical about indulging our children in rainbow wallpaper but
15:43no but this is nice it is like classy is it classy rainbow vomit it does look like a rainbow's
15:52vomited
15:54I'm worried it looks a bit garish they've already put these lines to cut it off I just want to
16:00make
16:00sure they've put them in the right place and it's going to fit the room which is 97 and a
16:04half so
16:04what we should be looking at here is 97 and a half inches plus another four inches and then cut
16:11it so
16:13normally when you have wallpaper it's already oh yeah it's already cut isn't it what is it normally
16:18like it's just on a roll it's just one roll yeah one strip the point is you've got one stabber
16:24laying a
16:25piece of wallpaper like this yeah because you can't just roll a bit off the next roll and exactly every
16:30piece is different yes I'm quite looking forward to seeing what looks like when I go up because
16:34never having used bespoke wallpaper before or you know custom wallpaper before it's good that is also
16:41going to be really difficult to line each piece up so it looks like a seamless bit of art when
16:47I do it
16:48for a living mate fair enough the quality of it is beautiful the colors pop so amazingly and I think
17:00once it's up on the wall it's going to be spectacular with painting in Albion's bedroom close to completion
17:08that paper will be up on the walls this afternoon but before Jasmine can lend a hand she's got a
17:19few
17:19hours of a place in the sun work to get through first so I'm heading off to do my voiceover
17:25now
17:28hi Bob morning Jasmine you good how's life it's for some shows that I've filmed previously so I've got
17:35to do the voiceover I'll be talking on zoom to a producer back in the UK oh hi Sarah oh
17:42hi Jess
17:43how's it going all right thank you we have a sound technician there in the studio he'll be making
17:51sure everything sounds good perfect shall we crack on I'm Jasmine Harmon and for more than 20 years I've
17:59been helping house hunters find their dream homes overseas today I'll be using all my skills to try
18:05and help Leslie who's brought along her mother-in-law Carol was happy Neil's tied up at work perfect move
18:12to the next bit whenever you're ready I am ready the budget for their dream holiday home is two hundred
18:18and sixty thousand pounds yeah let's do ten again before we head to our first property I want to take
18:25these ladies to the central hub of our search Fuenquerola's main square called the Plaza de la
18:30Constitución originally opened in 1841 by the town's first mayor is surrounded by shops cafes and a very
18:39pretty church called Nuestra Señora del Rosario so Arthur oh perfect perfect I mean I've done it for a long
18:48long time so I think I know what I'm doing by now hopefully with another couple of episodes
18:57beautifully crafted Jasmine's back on site just in time to help her dad the last time I used these
19:05over was all when we were painting the house white I didn't get myself to eating too much of a
19:11mess
19:14how do I look dad it was definitely too short in the body for me I don't know if it's
19:20my size I'm
19:21not sure if I've got mine or Albion's one it feels a bit short for the body yeah I don't
19:26even want to
19:27say the word I'm ready oh I think I've split my overalls no they're all right this mural wallpaper there
19:49is no margin for error every piece is unique and so you have to get it right first time and
19:58Peter's
19:59taking it steady with his apprentice well I'm not planning to ever actually hang the paper but she
20:05could oh she can try one after two or three they're up maybe jazz can put one up because I'm
20:13not going to
20:13be here forever someone's got to be able to carry on in the family you know she could earn 300
20:18pound a
20:19day in London with a with a bit of wallpapering skills time for the masterclass to begin so all I'm
20:32doing is I'm going to make some marks on the wall that's uh tell us where our paper's going to
20:39end up
20:41if we put it straight against the wall yeah and we've got those marks again and ignore that one
20:48yep so is that when you need this yeah it wants to go all the way down well a little
20:54bit more just
20:55until so doesn't hit the skirt Jasmine and Peter are using a plumb line guided by gravity to give them
21:01a perfectly straight line yeah it's pretty good so we can put our paper once any tiny imperfections have
21:11been uncovered using a torch and removed look at this whoa it's lovely isn't it pull up pull up
21:19pulling it slowly and with the paper unrolled and cutting to lengths well I can have a rest in there
21:28let that judge cut that all up it's like giant wrapping paper it's the moment of truth
21:37my role my role is the roller the roller roll the roller roll I just need to pair roller skates
21:46and
21:46then I'll be they'll have the full complemented roll and then it'll go up all the way up and down
21:58across
21:58I believe in all these years and decades the last time I did any wallpaper reveals and a little girl
22:11I'll tell you what you could do just support that so if it drops it don't tear just keep it
22:16off the wall yeah
22:20yeah it's like I say this is one this is the most awkward bit I've got it on my marks
22:26that's that that's that hang on that's gone over yeah we've got it again it's gone over that one
22:33isn't it so I wanted to help my dad putting the wallpaper up but he doesn't need my help
22:43he's completely capable of doing it on his own so he let me help a little bit but really he
22:50was
22:50doing all the hard stuff I suppose it's like being a parent when you've got a little toddler and you
22:56let them help they make it worse but you let them think they've helped me I think that's what my
23:03dad
23:03was doing with me that looks so nice yeah I wouldn't trust myself to do something like this
23:23did you ever expect me to move abroad not really no I mean but I think it's a great idea
23:32I think it's
23:33a great idea do you yeah
23:43that it looks looking amazing thank you I mean that join looks perfect you've got four more
23:49pieces four more people we're almost halfway there and the next day excited that she's finally been
24:01able to put a bit of personality into their home I kind of wish I could wait till the whole
24:10room was
24:11done and show it to him but if I say to him don't go into your bedroom so I want
24:16to keep it as a surprise
24:18it's gonna be like a red rag to a ball he won't be able to resist going in there it's
24:23good for him to
24:24see it now to see if it meets his expectations and well if it doesn't top ready
24:42that's so cool
24:44do you like it yeah I love it
25:00happy's reaction to his wallpaper was priceless he really loved it what do you say to Grandad thank
25:09you it's a pleasure mate just to see you happy and what about the rest of the color of the
25:16room we'll
25:17just have to get it more colorful because it looks a bit weird when it's really colorful and then it's
25:22just next to white things possibly it's really cool
25:29so you're happy is it better than your wildest dreams
25:33um it's basically the same as my wildest dreams is it
25:39oh I'm so glad to be with that
25:42that it looks great yeah it sort of feels like this is the first thing that we've done in the
25:50house
25:50to really make it our own
25:53open your eyes
26:00everything that we've done up until now has all just been necessity
26:03whereas this
26:06we've chosen
26:08and it's it feels quite special
26:13oh Astro I forgot you
26:28while progress is being made in Albion's bedroom that's largely down to Jasmine's decorator dad Peter
26:34the family bathroom is causing a few headaches
26:47so I'm just having a little meltdown
26:50it feels like the only person I can rely on at the moment is my dad because he's just been
26:54amazing
26:55Carlos has been ill and that hasn't really helped as well although you know
27:00we can't really progress further with the bathroom until the underfloor heating's done
27:05the underfloor heating guys that he had lined up let him down
27:10so I've been trying to find someone else
27:12and they've let me down as well
27:16so it just seems like
27:20a load of nonsense really when someone says yeah yeah I can do this job great
27:26and then they promise you the world and they don't deliver
27:32it's very difficult to keep it together to be honest
27:35I'm ready to throw in the towel
27:40the pressure is weighing heavily
27:42the dream of a new life in the sun for her family
27:45still looks a long way away
27:48sensing that a pick-me-up might be needed
27:50a good friend has flown out for a quick visit
28:06Laura is a friend of mine
28:08she is also one of my co-presenters on a place in the sun
28:12and we've been friends for a long time
28:16I didn't bring the sunshine with me sorry
28:18I think you might have brought some other weather with you
28:21look at this come on inside
28:23you know when things feel a bit overwhelming
28:26it is lovely to have a friendly face
28:29someone you know who's been through what you're going through
28:32where's John
28:34oh there he is Lauren's here
28:36hi
28:37oh John
28:39oh Astro
28:42we're all getting cuddles how are you
28:46when you make a big move aboard
28:48I actually think you value seeing friendly faces much more than you did before
28:53how are you finding it kind of living in it
28:56and when there's the mess
28:58we're not into the worst of it yet
29:00so
29:00right
29:01I think give it another month
29:03and then it's going to get messy
29:04it's going to be hell yeah
29:05had a few setbacks
29:06yeah
29:07I think it's safe to say we're slightly behind schedule because of my leg
29:11but it will all work out in the end
29:12and do you know what I always think in a renovation project
29:15the worst of it is now
29:17but like light at the end of the tunnel
29:18you're going to forget all of this
29:20when you get to the end and you've got that beautiful product
29:22I think it's like having a baby
29:24that's how I describe doing a renovation project
29:27because I'm like
29:27oh you know
29:28it's a bit rubbish in the beginning
29:29because you have morning sickness
29:30and you feel a bit rough
29:31and you're like
29:31oh my word
29:32like this is tough
29:32then you kind of start to get to the nice stage
29:34where you feel better
29:35then it gets difficult again
29:37and then at the end you have the lovely product
29:38yeah exactly
29:39the only difference is a house doesn't answer back a child does
29:42no exactly
29:43and this is definitely my last one
29:50Laura's very experienced with renovations
29:54having her there just felt good
29:58it felt reassuring
29:59I love the colour of these doors
30:01this is Albie's room
30:05wow
30:05it's my dad
30:06you've met my dad before I think
30:08nice to see you
30:09nice to meet you
30:10wow wow wow
30:11you like it
30:12that's so cool
30:13I was like is it paint
30:14it's paper right
30:15it's paper
30:15oh yeah
30:16that's brilliant
30:17excuse you as I've just got to grab something
30:19work to do
30:20work to do
30:20nice to see you
30:21so Albie said he said he wanted his room to look like a rainbow had vomited in there
30:28did he really?
30:29he actually said that
30:30no Albie
30:32I'm brilliant
30:32this looks like you're almost there though
30:35yeah
30:35you must be excited
30:36I am excited
30:37I'm really really excited to get Albie back in his room
30:40and we've got lots of really nice little quirky things to go in here that I think he's going to
30:46love it
30:47well look I know it's been a bit stressful
30:49there's been a lot going on
30:51I've got a little treat for you
30:52I'm going to take you somewhere
30:54do something fun
30:56it's not a spa day
30:58do you remember when we went on our spa day when we were both pregnant it's not a spa day
31:01oh no I'm disappointed now
31:03no you're going to love it
31:05bring it on
31:08I'm sensing they're both frustrated that it's not moved as far forward as they would have liked it to
31:13but I think that's a good thing and I think they absolutely shouldn't put pressure on themselves
31:17they're taking their time to think about how it's going to work for their lifestyle
31:20what the end goal is
31:22John
31:24we're heading out
31:25have a nice time
31:27all right
31:27thanks
31:28nice to see you later
31:29see you soon
31:29bye
31:30love you
31:31love you
31:32love you too
31:32love you
31:35love you
31:44jazz is going to love going off for a few hours with Laura and having some girly time
31:48jazz has been full on since the minute my leg broke
31:51and just to get out of the house and to switch your brain off for a little bit
31:55it's going to it's going to yeah it's going to work wonders
32:01a drive up the coast to the other side of Marbella is the cultural hot pot that is Malaga city
32:09I'm feeling quite excited actually
32:12I'm not exactly sure yet what we're doing it's quite nice just to get out have a day out in
32:20Malaga
32:21I will always love coming to the city
32:29in we go
32:31want you to meet Victoria
32:32hello
32:34I think this is going to be really good for jazz because it will show her a way that she
32:38can upcycle existing and old furniture that she has making it work in the project but giving a different look
32:46to it
32:49Victoria is showing Laura and Jasmine how to give wooden furniture and aged antique finish
32:56they'll be using a simple wooden box to try it out step one is Sunday
33:01it's all about the prep jazz yeah step two is adding a plaster based glue to create some texture
33:09basically we're doing stucco plastering yeah we could make our millions
33:13adding to your skill set yeah
33:18looking beautiful
33:20I think I've done one a bit thicker than yours
33:29I think it's just really important that you have a bit of you time so even if this is like
33:39maybe not the you time that you're expecting
33:41no but this is cool it's still a break away from it and just take like one or two days
33:48out of the week where you're like okay yeah if only right
33:53it's not that easy but yeah I should do I you know speaking to you and in my own head
33:59thinking maybe I do need to get a bit more help just to get the project moving quickly in the
34:07direction that I want it to be moving into
34:09because it's pretty tricky at the moment and with the paint dried it's time for a quick sand and another
34:17coat of paint
34:20this is going to look really interesting see now mine now you can't see any of the lighter color and
34:25you can't see any of the original blue that you painted on
34:28and after another round of drying and sanding the aged effect is starting to come through this looks at least
34:35100 years old if not 200 years old
34:42I feel like with everything that's been going on over the last few weeks this is almost this was like
34:47a holiday
34:49it's really lovely thank you so much well I just love like you know coming to see you for a
34:54little catch-up because
34:56although you know we'll send messages and chat on the phone occasionally actually I never get to see it
35:02it's rare it's rare to be in the same place at the same time that's so cool yeah that is
35:08a great fun
35:09that is a little transformation oh that was so much fun thank you
35:14I know it's because you're leaving well I came in the rain and I'm leaving in the sunshine and I'm
35:20leaving Jazz with some new skills
35:23and obviously the reassurance that I'm there for her I'm at the end of the phone and she can call
35:28me whenever she wants
35:29oh it's been really nice to hang out with Laura this afternoon I really take on board her advice about
35:37making sure not to burn myself out
35:41making sure I have some me time looking after myself that's something I might think about
35:57despite their best intentions progress is currently pretty slow
36:01John's still limited in what he can do and the delays in the family bathroom aren't helping
36:06all Jasmine can do is plough on with the one room that's now largely down to her
36:13although she's keen to introduce another generation to the family trade
36:19it's like playing a musical instrument
36:25I was looking online for some kind of bright coloured bedside cabinets
36:30and I came across something that was a graffiti bedside cabinet
36:37lovely
36:39oh that's great
36:41it was really expensive
36:44and I thought graffiti I can buy a few cans of spray paint
36:50and we could do something like that to the old bedside cabinet that he's already got
36:56so that's what we did
37:00you can do spots or you can do squiggles or whatever you like
37:07is that good
37:09I really like it Albs
37:11very creative
37:12are we going to paint this top
37:14yeah
37:16have you ever done graffiti before Albie?
37:18no
37:19good
37:21maybe Albie you'll grow up and you'll be as famous as Banksy
37:24and I'll keep this
37:25it'll be worth a fortune
37:33having ordered a load of stuff online in parts recommended by their interior designer
37:38there's a steady flow of packages arriving
37:43this is something for Albie's room
37:47he's gonna love it
37:51look at that
37:52look at that
37:52that's gonna be great
37:56oh
37:59and Jasmine is keen to keep as much of it a surprise as possible
38:05oh
38:06trying to keep everything hidden it's just impossible
38:09because there's so much stuff that we need you know that's here and we need to get it out and
38:14do it but
38:14because they're
38:16they live in this house so I can't
38:18I can't guarantee that they won't walk into one of these rooms at any moment
38:24and see everything
38:26oh
38:27that's why I've been trying to hide stuff up there
38:29in the top cupboards where they can't reach
38:31mostly everything's still in boxes
38:36and
38:37just need to find the time
38:39the right time to open everything up and
38:43and start building it
38:46mama
38:48yes
38:50where are you?
38:52I'm in your room
39:00you all right darling?
39:01I'm
39:02I was
39:02saying sticky cheese to Astro
39:04and I was sitting next to the board and he was yelling for thinking
39:08me to the board
39:09because he wants some sticky cheese
39:10you got toothpaste all around your mouth
39:14that was close
39:21Jasmine and John have a long afternoon of assembling ahead of them but the finishing line is in sight
39:33Jazz has definitely pulled it out of the bag
39:37I would like to take some responsibility but I don't think I can really take any responsibility
39:41all I did was action a few shelves to be put up and curtains to be put up
39:48the rest is jazz
39:53it's crunch time
39:55Albion's room is ready and we're going to show him
39:59I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will be exactly what he requested
40:05he wanted rainbow vomit and I'm pretty sure we're going to give that to him
40:11are you ready?
40:13are you excited?
40:15do you like your sign on the door?
40:20shall we?
40:22right you first

40:39purple
40:39yellow
40:41it was a lot of crazy colours
40:58it is so cool
41:01it's gone from being really ghastly colours
41:04to being so much more fun and lively
41:11it just feels somewhere really vibrant and uplifting
41:18what do you see that you didn't know was coming?
41:22this

42:20and look up to the ceiling
42:21you might notice something else
42:23I know
42:24it's all really cool
42:27the biggest job in Albion's bedroom
42:29was putting in the door to the balcony
42:31that was previously only accessible from the hallway
42:36what about this Alps?
42:38it's so cool
42:45so you can sit out here
42:47listening to the wind chime

43:08that's directly accessible from his bedroom
43:11very relaxing out here isn't it?
43:14yeah
43:15when it's evening
43:16you can put on the little lanterns

43:54when you've put in so much effort
43:56to get something finished at last
43:59it does feel good
44:04I think it's going to be
44:08pretty hard slog
44:10to get all this done by the summer
44:20that inflammation is not good
44:23not just the normal swelling
44:25that you would expect from a broken leg
44:29the tiles have just arrived
44:30and they don't look the right colour to me
44:37we've just gotten the snail's bottom off
