00:06do you know it reminds me of putting on my makeup in the morning I don't mind
00:11getting stuck into anything I never expected plastering to be quite as
00:18tricky as it was can I go in I love it I want to swap bedrooms with her feel like
00:32a house
00:32renovation requires a lot of wine there have been a few delays with tiling this floor
00:40easy to take family for granted when I see my family now and see my sister Kate I think you
00:45really take value in it I tell you there is never a dull moment here
00:59basically I'm a professional now I've got the hang of it I've just made a big hole
01:04I'm all packed I'm going good luck financially I think I have to go back to work and my work
01:14involves me being away a lot I can handle it you can take your laughter and my brother Andrew my
01:23baby brother coming over I've got one one zero zero it's one zero one zero none of the measurements
01:32seem to be right I've just got myself in a bit of tears with it slightly just losing control of
01:41all
01:41the different threads that have different things that are going on we go oh they're good
01:56Jasmine and John are now five months into their renovation and the good news is that after John's
02:01serious health scares he's now well on the mend in the words of Elton John I'm still standing
02:11Jasmine's mum for Sula is staying to help out around the house leaving Jasmine and John more time to focus
02:17on the build my mum is visiting again and she bought the flights months and months and months
02:27ago because she found them so cheap and she said I'll just book them and come out and visit you
02:32for a nice
02:33holiday because last time she came out it was to come and save the day when John broke his leg
02:39so it means
02:40that you know she's been helping again with everything one of our concerns when we moved away was that we
02:46would miss and not see quite a lot of family but actually I think it's the opposite I think you
02:52end up
02:52with a sort of gradual stream of people booking in weeks throughout the year and you actually get to
02:58spend I think more valuable time once you come on board and people come and visit
03:06so John and Albie just went out and they came back with this so in the basement we want to
03:15make it
03:15like really fun retro entertaining space and John was just browsing online and happened to come across
03:24some really retro arcade games and so he went to have a look with Albie and they came back
03:33with one of them what the heck what do you think joy yeah I think it'll be really good fun
03:49there are some really funky old games in there that I like um I don't know it's definitely one that
03:56the kids and their friends are going to have a lot of fun on probably me and John as well
04:01I mean
04:03now we've got this in the kitchen it's quite fun actually it's going to go in the basement
04:09eventually it was left in the kitchen because at the moment it can't go down in the basement
04:14because there's so much work going on down there so it does look a bit strange to have it there
04:20in
04:20the kitchen but let's just be honest life is all a bit strange at the moment so an arcade machine
04:30in
04:30the kitchen anything goes down in the basement decisions need to be made on where and how to watch
04:39films the basement was sort of formed around our desire to have like a cinema room but rather than
04:47just project onto a sort of blank or white wall there's a bit of a trend for media walls so
04:54we
04:55thought we'd have one too it's kind of coming together I mean it is essentially a lot of plasterboard
05:00built into a shape that you want it to be media wall what even is that I don't know what
05:07media wall
05:08is or what it means this is John's thing so there's these little alcoves which will have little frames
05:14or photos in or little memorabilia and then there's the kind of the recess in the wall where the tv
05:23will go
05:26I have no idea what it means it's just the telly right
05:36time for all the family to step away from the build as there's an invite to a fiesta
05:41hosted by their original builder and still very good friend Carlos
05:51we're at a party at Carlos's house and it was his daughter's first holy communion today so he invited
05:59us over we're having a great time aren't we we went to Carlos's little daughter's first holy communion
06:08I've never been to one before and so we went to the church beforehand and then we went to the
06:15party up at their house afterwards and we had just the best time my mom came with us as well
06:23John was dancing around on his broken leg it really meant a lot to me that they invited us
06:38it's the next morning and while the work continues in the basement to hit their summer deadline Dominic
06:43needs to start on the outside too we're at the point of the build where we have to have things
06:52simultaneously happening at the same time we can't wait for the basement to be finished before we start
06:57digging up the garden so we are now at the point where things have to happen concurrently they are
07:07currently digging up the garden and where we're going to put a patio but we haven't even decided
07:16what kind of material we're going to make the patio out of yet when the digger started going to work
07:23it
07:23was very satisfying although I hadn't quite anticipated how much of the garden was going to be destroyed by the
07:34here there seems to be lots of activity going on today I'm not quite sure what's going on to be
07:42honest I
07:42feel like the whole thing has just run away I don't know what's going on I'm overwhelmed if I'm honest
07:54even with Jasmine's mum for Sula on damage control one of the lemon trees gets a knock but with some
08:01space now cleared it's time to make a plan I'm struggling at the minute just visualizing it and
08:08feeling like oh the garden all the gardens gone but then I guess it makes it more usable we've got
08:17we
08:22a narrow bit around the pool yeah this is your area we're going to pick this down to a certain
08:28level because it's too soft you know whack of this probably whack it down with a black plate then put
08:34some aggregate in there to bring it up a little bit and then the rest will be concrete so much
08:39to
08:39think about all right we're gonna have a patio here at this end so we can put some loungers so
08:48you
08:48know when the kids are playing in the pool we can be down here just enjoying being out in the
08:52garden
08:54with a plan for the garden design agreed it's back to work and it looks an absolute mess so I'm
09:01feeling
09:02a bit like the pool was up and running and now it's not the pumps just there on the side
09:09of the pool the
09:10garden was fine and now it's just mud I know we have to do this and at the end of
09:18it
09:18it will look nice but it just feels like as we're going into the summer the weather's getting
09:27nicer and we've just completely wrecked the garden and the pool just as my brother's about to arrive
09:36soon with my baby niece they're not going to be able to come out in the garden they're not going
09:43to
09:43be able to use the pool you know it's just it's hard to trust the process when it just feels
09:49so
09:51counterintuitive doing all this I'm really struggling at the moment living amongst everything
09:58I feel like I've got absolutely no headspace where I can just switch off you know it's all consuming
10:09I haven't even been sleeping very well because I've been worrying about the budget running away
10:29to help manage some of the stress caused by the diggers work Jasmine decides to embrace it
10:38and I thought I might give it a go why not shall we yeah
10:51there you go I've never driven a digger before but how hard can it be I'm quite a good driver
10:58but I
10:59don't know how good I'll be on the digger we'll see right now it's it's active I look out everyone
11:08this does slightly terrify me oh yeah okay that's it yeah I got it okay see okay all right now
11:17push that
11:18one forward push the whole thing forward oh it was a bit like playing a computer game you know with
11:28the little joysticks and things like that I've done it I've done I don't know what have I done
11:34hang on just trying to remember what I'm doing oh very patient I'll tell you what to do honestly
11:45yeah keep the bucket up a bit which is more this one so yeah I forgot about going side to
11:51side
11:54wait curl is that one oh and then curl it up oh so much digging all that topsoil Dominic said
12:17he's
12:17never seen such good topsoil in Spain in all the years that he's been here so digging that up did
12:25make me feel a little bit sick but it's a means to an end because we want to have patio
12:32and we want
12:33to have some parking so we've got to dig up what's there basically I'm a professional now I've got the
12:39hang of it I've just made a big hole but I've got I think I've got the knack of it
12:45shall I drive it
12:46around the garden do you think Dominic how do I turn it off this well that was quite fun I'm
12:58ever out of work would you employ me yeah it's not easy there's a lot of things going on well
13:04I'm gonna
13:04let you get on but that was really cool and you know if you need if you ever need an
13:10extra pair of
13:11hands I'm at your service I had fun on the digger I think I was quite good at it but
13:18possibly better
13:20left to the professionals I don't think I'll be giving up my day job anytime soon
13:32with mum Vasula's visit on the Costa del Sol coming to an end there's just time to take in the
13:38more
13:39artistic side of Estepona all my life my mum has been a very artistic person she loves painting drawing she
13:52teaches pottery and she does mosaic as well and because Estepona has got about I think it's roughly
14:0070 murals all across the town that would be quite nice for us to come and just have a wander
14:08explore
14:09see some of the murals and enjoy Estepona I started art late so I didn't do it before the age
14:18of 60
14:19no I appreciate art much more how difficult it is now that I've been trying to do it it was
14:26Mother's
14:26Day Spanish Mother's Day the other day and so great that mum was here for that and now we get
14:35to spend
14:35the day together and just enjoy hanging out
14:39it's lovely aren't they these murals yeah very nice love the way they've drawn the tree and the shadow
14:46and the shadow so it looks like trompe lloyd doesn't it yeah and it looks so beautiful with the
14:52jacarandas and all the other foliage it's like this corner of Estepona is always in blossom
15:00lovely and these are nice as well it looks like those two go together that one is la mirada de
15:08un
15:08niño so it's the the gaze I think or the look of a child exploring Estepona is always surprising
15:18because you go around a corner and you see something that's different that you've never seen
15:22before how do they paint on such a huge scale so you can't really see when you're there painting it
15:29you can't really see what you're doing can you you have the grid oh do you a bit oh is
15:37that how they
15:37do it I wonder if it adds value to the properties as well having a mural painted on the building
15:44well
15:44if it was a Banksy they'd nick it the fact that jazz's mom was over visiting the kids and the
15:52fact
15:52that it fell on spanish mother's day was great and jazz managed to get some time with her mom and
15:57go
15:57around Estepona that's an unusual one isn't it up there ah it's very very clever yeah and to view it
16:06from this point poor fish though yeah I like the way they've done it across several buildings even
16:16though the the buildings are all on different heights the sea is level horizon yeah that's very
16:24very clever shall we go and get a drink yeah thanks for coming cheers oh yeah
16:39yeah it's been a bit of a been a bit of a stressful time really with everything happening
16:44it's hard to relax isn't it with everything with a broken leg thrombosis heart attack renovating a house
16:51worrying about not being able to work and so many other things but it's been yeah it's been nice to
16:59have you here actually it is quite getting to me to be honest the last few days I look out
17:06at the
17:06garden and I'm like oh I've got to say I'm finding it really really hard to see it and go
17:13oh yeah
17:14this is a great thing to be happening I feel like right now we're in the difficult bit with the
17:19outside
17:20space the horrible dusty dirty muddy unsightly stressful bit I just can't wait for it to be
17:31beautiful and lovely and yeah it's just getting there hopefully you know it's moving a bit more
17:37quickly now so it won't be too long gardens always take longer actually because you can't just paint
17:44over the problem you have to do the work and wait for things to grow hopefully next time you come
17:54we'll be in a bit of a better state and you can help me with the garden yeah I'd like
18:00that there's so
18:01much potential it's great maybe we can even go for a swim next time I come hopefully you won't be
18:08stressed hopefully I can get back before they do the garden oh if not when I get back I'll do
18:16what I can
18:17ah it's always nice to have mum here it was nice to get out today and hopefully the next time
18:23she comes
18:24will be a bit further along and it won't all be so up in the air just because the swimming
18:37pool is still
18:38out of action doesn't mean Jasmine and Albion can't take an early evening dip living just a few
18:48minutes stroll from the beach is amazing the reason we moved at all from our previous home was to live
18:54by the sea and I think John would have been happy to live by the sea anywhere and I said
19:01well if we're
19:01going to live you know by the sea let's go and live by the Mediterranean Sea it is vitally important
19:10to have moments like that together with the family away from all the chaos of the building and
19:18construction renovation just to really be able to be present and grateful for what we have
19:40back at the house and it's Astro who needs some attention oh good boy poor little tail between
19:48this he's just rolled in something on the beach possibly a dead fish he smells bad so he's having a
19:59little shower we don't like it Astro he is such a lovely dog a total goofball but we absolutely love
20:09him he's silly he's funny he's adorable and a little bit nuts as well he's basically almost the perfect dog
20:26he's trying to dry himself on your shorts Astro might be one of the people in the family who is
20:33loving
20:34Spanish life the most after many weeks of being at home John is now medically fit to return to work
20:48I'm all packed oh you're done I'm going bye then see you good luck John has been unable to go
20:57back to
20:58work for must be four or five months now I mean what a crazy time everyone I tell that I've
21:05had a heart
21:05attack they're like that shouldn't happen at the age of 45 but hopefully now with the right medication
21:12we're on the right tracks this is the longest period of our lives that I've ever been at home and
21:21not
21:21worked even during Covid I worked so this is like four months of seeing the kids every day it definitely
21:30has now made me think and be a little bit more concerned about not just my health but how fragile
21:37we
21:37all eyes as human beings how how we have to value the moment we have to live for now although
21:44I haven't
21:44been that used for the reservation physically it has been it's been present yes exactly whereas I'm
21:50very conscious that for the next two weeks I won't be very present no I can handle it you can
21:56take your
21:56laughter and I will not only does he need to go back to work financially he also really needs to
22:06go
22:06back to work for his own sort of mental health for his own identity like he's never not worked for
22:18this amount of time well just don't overdo it and also we need the money because we're spending money
22:23like we're going out of passion I think I've realized that as a family I think it's been quite nice
22:30and we've
22:31grown as a unit with me being around more than I ever have been before but frustratingly you know
22:39financially I think I have to go back to work and my work involves me being away a lot all
22:46packed up
22:47it's off to the airport he's just someone that never stops never stops working never sits down and
22:56so I think it's been tough for him the last few months in many ways it will be the first
23:03time he's
23:04taken a flight since he broke his leg it will be his first time going back to work and since
23:12he broke
23:13his leg and obviously after having a heart attack I'm slightly concerned about him flying but I think the
23:23doctors have said it's fine he's got all the medication that he needs he's got his stockings so he should
23:32be fine
23:42as John departs Jasmine's brother Andrew with his fiancee Celine and their baby daughter Celeste arrive
23:50my brother Andrew my baby brother is coming over he's a carpenter and he is knee-deep in his own
23:58renovation project in France which is a much bigger project than we've got here so it's really nice of
24:07him to come and take time out here I'm not sure that my sister-in-law and my baby niece
24:14will have
24:15the best holiday because they're coming to another building site downstairs in the basement the work
24:25continues initially our plan was to expand the size of the window at the back of the basement near where
24:33the kitchenette is going to go and we started trying to take out the wall to increase the size of
24:40the opening
24:43and we were absolutely getting nowhere with it the walls are so solid they are made out of extremely thick
24:54reinforced concrete I think the reason being is because we are down in the basement they have been made
25:02completely impenetrable and I decided it wasn't worth it for an extra 10 or 20 centimeters of window we
25:12would end up having a week of noise and dust and just thought it wasn't worth it we're going to
25:18stick
25:18with the same window size get a new window and be done with it even though they are keeping the
25:26window the
25:27same size they need exact measurements to upgrade the frames so Andrew lends a hand so we need to
25:34remember the size of the hole size of the hole how many times these windows have been measured and it's
25:41still different every time yeah well these are 110 wide yeah 110 centimeters 1100 yeah that's it because it
25:53was 30 centimeters we were planning to add but we gave up on that idea because it was too hard
25:58I've just
25:59started rechecking the measurements because a few things have changed like the window out there and it's
26:06just a can of worms the height of this window is 99 centimeters I've got 1100 for that height 1100
26:17yeah
26:17it's 101 1010 it's not 1100 no no that's that's 10 centimeters too big none of the measurements seem to
26:32be
26:33right I've just got myself in a bit of tears with it I mean it's honestly it's been measured like
26:40five
26:40times 1010 1010 this is 1010 and that is the size of the hole the size of the hole so
26:50that needs to
26:51include the window frame and with Andrew's work done for the day it's time to escape the renovation
27:02and visit a quirky monument in nearby Benal Madena built to honor legendary explorer Christopher Columbus
27:10I think that my brother Andy will definitely find this interesting he's a craftsman himself so I think
27:18he'll appreciate the level of detail in this place the funny thing is that this whole thing wasn't actually
27:25built by a builder do you want to hear this who was it built it was built by a gynecologist
27:33of course of course you know in his spare time he decided to do this
27:47built by a Christopher Columbus enthusiast Dr. Esteban Martin and with the help of two stone masons
27:54the castle took seven years to build and was only completed in 1997 the three ships that Columbus sailed
28:02in on his voyage to discover North America are represented in the castle well it's quite
28:08different to my craftsmanship because I'm a I'm a carpenter by trade and work mostly in raw wood you
28:14know before I went there I thought it was a full-size castle so when I got there it looked
28:22like a you
28:23know a mini castle I thought it was a castle that had once been inhabited by actual humans whereas it
28:31was more like a castle that could have been inhabited by small fairies
28:39nice to have five minutes off to the renovation then I know it is for both of us yeah it's
28:44non
28:44stop it's always in the back of your mind though isn't all you can't get away what to do yeah
28:48or you
28:49coming on holiday and then having to do more oh be on a building site anything to my big sis
28:54oh thank
28:56you baby bro don't at least we're not building anything like this oh it's great to see Jasmine
29:02it's always it's always lovely to see her she's busy her life is a non-stop with the kids and
29:08renovation but it's really lovely to do something out of the out of the norm for us and be by
29:14the sea
29:18John and I had never visited Colmora's Castle before and so while I was there I thought oh let
29:24me just give him a call so he can see it and maybe we can come another time and bring
29:28the children back
29:30he was back in London he was in the office doing some work so I thought I'll just catch up
29:37with him
29:37and make him a bit jealous as soon as I go back to work Jas decides that then it's okay
29:43to go and
29:44visit somewhere that I've kind of wanted to visit for quite a while how's your leg oh yeah it's good
29:50it's uh much more mobile than I thought I would be it's definitely better to be on my feet all
29:56the
29:56time because the minute I sit down it gets a bit stiff but yeah it's fine I mean it's weird
30:01being back
30:02at work and away from the kids it's weird not having you hovering around the house weird or good
30:08no it's not good all right have a nice afternoon send the kids my love send your brother my love
30:13everyone yeah will do love you don't work too hard I won't bye bye it was really great to see
30:23John I
30:23think he's coping really well with everything I think he's missing the children maybe he's missing
30:29me a little bit too but it must be nice to have a break from the building work although
30:36knowing John I think he feels a little bit out of the loop and wants to be involved and do
30:43everything
30:44so he's just going to have to trust me to get on with it now she's more interested in the
30:49little
30:49fountain than the castle I almost can't describe how lovely it is to have my family coming to visit
30:56I just wish that I could offer them you know a bit more of my hospitality in terms of you
31:03know the
31:04house being a bit of a wreck at the moment and not being able to use the garden or the
31:08swimming pool
31:09you know that's a bit of a shame but it's so lovely to see them and my little niece
31:15they grow up so quickly so every moment that you can spend with them is a blessing and is so
31:24precious
31:34nearing the end of the day joy and Albion are now home from school so it's dinner time right well
31:43dinner's nearly ready guys do you want to put all the condiments on the table and the knives and forks
31:48and stuff please what do you think of join Albion's rooms they're amazing how do you feel about them
32:04they're so cool honestly yeah your room is just so it's like being in a jungle retreat somewhere
32:14and Albie's room wow it's like a rainbow vomit just how he wanted it so how's it going in Spain
32:24here
32:24you've been having a bit of a roller coaster the renovation well the renovation and everything
32:31and John John bless him thank God he's all right now but yeah it has been a bit of a
32:37roller coaster the
32:38last few months not you know not only renovation but everything else with John and you know what
32:44it's like renovating somewhere you expect it all to be smooth sailing then you're in for a big wake
32:50up call aren't you it's so nice to see you all and spend time with you thanks for coming to
32:56visit us
32:57oh we'd love to see you oh it was so nice eating all together with the family just to change
33:04on isn't here
33:06at the moment but just really lovely to spend time with my brother and his family and for my kids
33:13to
33:13spend time with their little cousin my family I mean they're so useful everyone's got their own skills
33:19and every single person in my family would bend over backwards to help me and likewise I would do the
33:26same for them although I'm possibly not quite as useful with my skills as they are to me
33:53whilst John is still working in the UK Jasmine's brother Andrew is staying on for a few more days
33:59I'm here to build a secret door bookcase for joy which will be the entrance to a walk-in wardrobe
34:06and
34:07her bathroom I really hope joy likes what I what I managed to build which I would and I hope
34:15it works
34:16everything goes as planned the girls have gone back to France now and they've left Andrew here my brother
34:25to do the shelves so I have to start cracking the whip with him now haha
34:35joy's room is finished basically but the one thing missing was the secret doorway I think it's a bit of
34:46a novelty
34:46but I think it's really fun for a kid's bedroom especially and I think she'll love showing her friends when
34:54they come round it'll be like a nice surprise the secret bookcase will consist of two separate shelving
35:02units positioned either side of the doorway but on wheels so when they slide together they meet in
35:09the middle and the doorway disappears the biggest challenge of making a bookcase that moves is the
35:17weight and the running gear for it to move on I've come up with an idea in my head that
35:22I hope is going to
35:24work the bookcase will be on wheels at the bottom and have some tracks attached to the back of it
35:30that
35:30you won't see from the bedroom side but it's an untested untried idea at this point so fingers crossed
35:39we're going to we're going to nail it first time
35:45how are you getting on so the back panel will be that nice picture decorative decorative panel that we bought
35:52that will be the last thing to go on so at the minute the shelves are cut I've got eight
35:57shelves
35:58so the reality of a secret door like this is that it's a bathroom and and her wardrobe behind it
36:05and I'm not sure if she'll really move it every time she goes through it so it needs to look
36:14good
36:14open is what I'm thinking and then when she wants to hide it and it'll be quite fun yeah novelty
36:20but I
36:21think if it doesn't look good open then it might not be as practical it is really great to have
36:30my
36:30brother here he knows what he's talking about he does have extremely high standards and every time
36:38I've ever had work done or done anything like that my brother well and my dad actually they're both have
36:45very very very high standards and they're perfectionists whereas I'm just like let it go
36:52let it let it go sometimes you have to overlook little things just to try and stay zen
37:02so these are these are the books this one this one won't fit because it won't fit on the shelves
37:08yeah but that's like one of the things that's a big book yeah she's got she can put them on
37:15the
37:15other bookshelf I think maybe better to have them all more of a sit equal apart from one that one
37:23that
37:24one that's fine yeah yeah so third one down will be the big one then slightly larger one at the
37:31bottom
37:31larger one at the bottom and the rest the rest equal okay super I'll crack on
37:41with the shelving units now assembled and still 24 hours to go before Andrew goes back to France
37:47all he has to do is attach them to the wall so the wall is not straight and the floor
37:53is not completely
37:54level and when I cut these sides out of bigger planks the wood twisted as as I released the pressure
38:03on it
38:04and so I'm fighting with it all the way now just trying to get it to stay where I want
38:10it
38:13the problem with the sliding doors is the fact that the walls themselves do not line up so in order
38:24for
38:25the two bookshelves to meet the walls would have to be straight and they're not so one is going like
38:32this and one is going like this so for the doors to to meet they would end up meeting in
38:37a funny
38:37angle it looks it looks good like this but the problem I'm having is when when you slide them
38:45they don't really meet in the middle because I'm trying to attach them to the wall and the wall is
38:52not straight the wall has a curve on it by this much so if I put it flat against this
38:58wall you can see
38:59there's a big gap on the right hand side if we used a double door sliding track one of the
39:09simple
39:09sort of metal bar along the black metal bar and they've got two little hooks that go over it
39:15it's possible that well at least the top will be guided to meet each other and and the bottom may
39:25still
39:25be able to work on a on a on a guide that I can fit to the back of the
39:30shelf
39:33but it's definitely a challenge to get it to get it to meet in the middle because if it doesn't
39:39meet
39:39in the middle doesn't really fulfill the brief oh no I didn't even think about the walls might not be
39:48straight yeah if we get to the final hour and it's not working then I'll have to screw them to
39:54the wall
39:55and she can have a couple of nice bookcases but that'll be a bit disappointing it will be a bit
40:00disappointing for for her but for everyone really for everyone you've come all this way yeah but and I
40:09know we've not got much time that's the yeah isn't it sorry sis no don't apologize i'm sorry that my
40:16walls aren't straight well they were here before you
40:21if they can find a store that has a sliding track mechanism in the right size
40:26this could solve the problem but as andrew travels back to france tomorrow time is running out
40:34in the right place i'm not sure that it's possible in the time we've got
40:48hola hi sis that's for you look thank you i saw you coming how's it going it's going all right
40:55you know as you've probably worked out we're not going to be able to make them slide this time
41:02we have thought of a couple of other solutions of how they could work but unfortunately we've run
41:09out of time to be able to get the right materials in order to do it differently everything that's
41:15going on in there with the floor and the walls being all out of kilter is like the perfect storm
41:20so i'm going to fix them to the wall make the best of it i'll put the the little trim
41:27all the way
41:27the architrape all the way around the three sides that are visible it's all cool i'm just happy to
41:34have spent time with you here's to some small problems small problems problems love small problems
41:42probably my brother is the most upset about the shelves because he's kicking himself that it should
41:49be something that's fairly straightforward for him and he had a plan of how it was going to work i
41:56think
41:56joy is probably the least disappointed out of all of us she's fine she really accepted it i think she
42:03would still like to have the sliding doors but you know she's absolutely fine we don't need to have
42:12sliding bookshelves hiding a secret doorway it's fun it's it would have been cool and maybe still
42:20will be one day but for the time being you know we're just going to leave it at that as
42:27andrew had
42:27to go back to france he worked late into the night john has just returned home and is keen to
42:42see the
42:43finished result here we go oh they're good yeah really good i mean very tall and useful i know for
42:54all her books and also they just you know i like the print on the back of it goes really
43:00well doesn't
43:00it yeah it goes really well that was a happy find they look beautiful and they are custom made to
43:09fit
43:09that space they look fantastic the fact that they're not off the shelf and they've just been
43:15made to fit those two positions yeah jazz's brother is arguably a master craftsman it could be argued
43:23that i'm maybe the complete opposite that might be my fault that we didn't notice the walls don't line
43:29up no they're really nice and i think you know maybe we have one or two shelves there with a
43:35vase or a
43:36plant or something nice on it maybe a picture frame the fact they don't currently slide together
43:43to conceal her bathroom and wardrobe i think is okay for now i think andrew has accepted that it's
43:48slightly back to the drawing board and he will return and they will one day slide for now they're
43:55perfect you know it's great i was worried that they might not quite fit the room and they might
44:00overcrowd the room a bit they don't they're perfect they were meant to be there yeah made to measure
44:05exactly well done andy
44:20standing here feel like i'm in war zone days like this where you can spend quality time together are
44:30really important there's a lot of cement i thought dominic nearly about to end up in it then i cannot
44:43wait to see the progress of these stairs i mean when they're in i think it will transform the way
44:48we use
44:49our house it's only five people looking at a wall we're trying to work out a solution out yeah i'm
44:59trying not to stress with my heart it's fine
45:02so
45:07so
