00:04we have to start phase three now to give us any chance whatsoever of finishing this renovation
00:10on time but we haven't finished the basement yet yeah we just have to make the best of it
00:23that's all we can do with the mud on i look 25 years older
00:31oh finally oh because it's been such a pain hasn't it this driveway it's like giving birth
00:42once it's over you don't remember the bad bits you just think oh look this is our new baby
00:51i'm ready well i don't know if i am actually is your weapon ready as i'll ever be
01:00hardcore harman now that the glass doors off of the living room have arrived
01:08i'm really excited yeah one two three
01:14this is the dream this is what we hoped life in spain would be like
01:21the frame is in the all way around i love doing things twice i'm just like one thing to be
01:27finished
01:44as we head into the final month or so of the renovation things are starting to come together
01:50the first floor is done the pool is working and the other spaces from phase two are close to completion
02:00now working on phase three which focuses on the ground floor housing jasmine and john's bedroom
02:07the lounge diner and the kitchen
02:12the demolition phase is well underway while he's currently away for work a few months ago john helped
02:19remove the wall to the living room and the kitchen has now also been ripped out and the wall on
02:24the
02:24entrance hall side quickly removed the most annoying thing about the new open plan space is that column
02:34it would just be so nice if it wasn't there while everyone involved has always assumed it's a load
02:40bearing column that can't be removed builder quinn and the team have spotted something that should
02:45please jasmine pretty small isn't it yeah pretty small that's really small it's definitely a concrete
02:51column but it's not very big there couldn't be a pillar of brick it wouldn't hold any weight
02:56well maybe i have to get someone to have a look at it because yeah i definitely did not expect
03:00that to break i was told it was a concrete column there definitely not maybe i can get an engineer
03:07to have a look at it it looks like jasmine might be able to get the completely open space she
03:13wants
03:13after all oh my gosh yeah it's pretty chaotic how's it going yeah it's going it's all going isn't it
03:22what we've discovered is this isn't actually a concrete column huh it's just brick really i think
03:30it might be a good idea if we get an engineer to come in and see if it's even necessary
03:34because
03:34i've got a feeling it's not so if we can get rid of that we can really open up the
03:39space i mean we
03:39thought it was a column didn't yeah but it doesn't seem to be one it's just brick it's just brick
03:44which i can't see that brick supporting you know because why would you do concrete columns everywhere
03:51else would it just be yeah brick so how what's holding the house up wow yeah um hope no i'm
03:57joking
03:59there's two columns i really hope that we can get rid of that column
04:05there's clearly loads of work to be done in there and with the builders now very much occupying the
04:12main living space jasmine and the family have moved downstairs
04:19i'm just making myself a bit of lunch and i'm down in the basement this is how we're living literally
04:29the fridge that i have to go through the plastic i have to fight through all the stuff down here
04:39whoop all this and the fridge is in here but i shouldn't complain i'll just be happy when this
04:48door goes on i don't have to go through a plastic sheet anymore to get to the fridge
04:56our plan was to finish everything down in the basement then move down there so that the guys
05:04could move upstairs and start taking out the kitchen and doing all the work on the ground floor
05:08everything here in the summer kind of closes down so you'll go down to like skeleton staff and for
05:16example the worktop guys they have the whole of month of august off so if we don't get our
05:25kitchen in and the templates done for the worktop before that cutoff date then we will have no
05:32worktop for the entire summer that's why we're in such a rush to get it done
05:38with the kitchen now the priority and john away jasmine's heading into malaga city to choose a
05:45worktop from her preferred supplier i've come to the city of malaga today because i'm on the hunt for
05:55a kitchen worktop i think the worktop is possibly the most important decision you make in a kitchen
06:01because it's the bit that you're looking at all the time when you're chopping you know it's on top of
06:06everything else so yeah it's something that i wanted to make sure that i got right
06:22kind of have in mind what i want i think i'm going to go for something quite light in color
06:27because the
06:27kitchen is on the north side of the house so i want it to be bright as bright as possible
06:34since this worktop company works closely with the supplier of jasmine's kitchen
06:38they have a sample of her cabinet doors on hand there's my door there it is
06:45and we can see different options and you can start playing with it
06:56i mean it looks really nice i just i'm not that feeling the feeling of it it doesn't make me
07:03want
07:03to it's the it's a different lie down on it and just go oh yeah which some of the other
07:08ones do what
07:09are the price differences between natural stone or the other ones roughly would be count as
07:19thunder countertop would be between two thousand euros and three thousand and a half so it would be
07:27probably around 1700 pounds to about three thousand pounds something like so and is that for a kitchen
07:37based on a kitchen of my size of my kitchen okay for example this one in silestone could be using
07:45a
07:45lower price so probably it's in the lower range of the those prices a bit more now yeah you like
07:52it
07:56i mean there's so many to choose from yeah
08:05a lot of options do you do all your customers come in and go oh it's normal people get crazy
08:10here no
08:11worries yeah all right i'm gonna pick out my favorites and just put them next to it and then
08:16any we we're gonna give you i'm gonna give you a small sample of fitz color that you like okay
08:21and
08:21you're gonna bring it home and and yeah start thinking about it okay because you have a different
08:27options i think i found it a lot more difficult to actually choose one than i thought there are so
08:34many
08:35elements to think about it's the work top next to the doors the door handles the floor the sink the
08:42taps the tiles you know all of those things have got to work together so it is important to make
08:48the
08:48right decision i think it was two thousand euros so about 1700 pounds and three and a half thousand
08:57euros so about three thousand pounds then that's quite a big difference thank you very much for
09:08coming coming hasta luego hasta luego gracias por venir bye bye bye
09:22the next day it's back to the messy work on site
09:28day two of the demolition and they're getting everything ready rebecca from the kitchen company's
09:36coming this afternoon so there's quite a lot to do oh you're right oh wow yeah it's vanishing
09:43quickly this is going down quick it's coming down definitely i know that the columns right in the
09:49way isn't it it's a bit of an eyesore but i've spoken to an engineer and he says those types
09:55of blocks
09:55which i we already thought are not load-bearing and because the column doesn't go all the way through
10:00the house it's it's not going to be a structural column so i do think we can yeah
10:06i think we can take it out oh my gosh that's brilliant which is just going to completely
10:09open this room look how much nicer it's already it's already looking so much brighter in here as
10:14well so it's just going to transform this space it really is actually like you come through that
10:18front door and it's all open and then that's right in the middle of your view we're very lucky that
10:25it
10:25isn't structural i mean you can do the honors if you want i need i will do the honors actually
10:29if
10:30that's cool get kitted out my hair on wherever i can do it that's really exciting
10:38i'm ready well i don't know if i am actually there's your weapon um ready as i'll ever be
10:43where should i aim for i go for the middle or the towards the top towards the top
10:53it's uh quite strong isn't it it's time to start smashing down some walls
11:06oh it is so i've got one bicep it's gonna be like huge and the other one's just
11:18that's it
11:22good job it hasn't fallen down yet so keep going yeah yeah if you want to
11:27the top bit uh yeah i'll go for the top bit
11:36don't mess with me guys hardcore harlemans
11:48i just got rid of it with my own bare hands and it was quite satisfying it's completely changed
11:58the space in that room it just makes it a much better space i'm really happy
12:13it's another sunny day down on the cost of del sol
12:19the kitchen wall and column have been successfully removed just in time for rebecca from the kitchen
12:26company's visit okay should we do the easy bit first yeah okay the plumbing so we're gonna have
12:32hot too cold right okay and also we're having a hot boiling hot tap a boiling hot tap okay working
12:39with builder quinn rebecca is marking out all of the electrical plumbing and appliance points to make
12:45sure quinn is fully prepped for the kitchen installation
12:50and if you do two sockets that way okay on the upright yeah okay and jasmine also has some decisions
12:56to make your lighting in your wall cabinets do you want them all switched from one switch
13:03or do you want them switched from underneath they'll have a remote oh that's fun i think i underestimated
13:11how much there is to do before the actual kitchen units go in we want to get the floor done
13:19all the electrics done ceilings and all everything on this side of the room as well so the living area
13:27because it's open plan so all the windows done basically everything needs to be finished i can
13:32visualize it exactly how i've seen it on the design i think it's going to look even better now that
13:40this
13:40column is gone i think it will just be a fantastic big open space i think this is going to
13:47be perfect
13:49with rebecca and the kitchen left in quinn's capable hands and john still away on a work trip jasmine
13:56heads into town to run a few errands but it's not long before she's needed back on site
14:03i've just been at the local council office getting some paperwork done and i've had a call saying that
14:11something's happened here but i don't know what it is so i'm obviously thinking the worst like the house
14:16has fallen down or something when i after i took the column out hello hello how's it going we've hit
14:24a pipe because these pipes are very close to the top if you want to probably continue with marble
14:31we might have to get these pipes moved lower into the ground because obviously marble by itself is
14:36about three centimeters yeah which is not ideal but because it's just see how high it is so is that
14:42yeah i can see yeah so is it the plumber coming to my message yeah so when the plumber gets
14:46here i'll
14:47have a chat with them and see how easy it's going to be to actually move those pipes lower it's
14:54not
14:54ideal but it's nothing that's can't be done okay yeah speak to the plumber then and see these things
15:00happen when you're doing a refurb especially because you just don't you don't know what you're gonna
15:04run into all right okay i'm getting used to all these hiccups along the way it's a part of it
15:10i suppose
15:11um just it just means that everything's slightly more complex and takes a bit longer than expected
15:18yeah i guess you're used to it yes all right well keep me posted posted and i'll let you know
15:23what the
15:24plumber says thank you okay cool and a few hours later the plumbers have been and there's an easy
15:32solution i don't know why i didn't realize this at the time but where they are is going to be
15:38underneath the kitchen units so even if we put the same marble as we've got in the rest of the
15:47house
15:47throughout the main kitchen and it just stops before those water pipes and we can maybe cover those with
15:52something else just a thinner tile then we don't have to do all that digging out and relocating all
15:59those water pipes no one's ever going to see it anyway it'll be underneath the kitchen i mean it might
16:04just slightly mess with my head a little bit knowing that it's different tiles under there
16:08but i'm at this point i'm happy to to let that go
16:24the next morning it's another sunny but busy day with loads going on the doors have arrived for
16:32the living room balcony i think they're probably quite heavy so i'm going to leave it to them
16:47despite having already taken out two walls and a column opening the kitchen to the living room
16:53there is more to go jasmine and john want to take out the wall to the terrace as well
16:58replacing it with a series of sliding doors look lovely don't they yeah they're nice windows these
17:06that's the way to do it quicker oh he's doing quicker i think he's done this before now it's great
17:12now that the glass doors off of the living room have arrived um i'm really excited they're huge and i
17:22think
17:23when they're installed it's going to look amazing there are four doors in total costing nearly four
17:29and a half thousand pounds a pretty big investment each just over a meter wide and nearly two and a
17:36half meters tall because it was a festival last night a lot of the builders haven't come into work this
17:46morning so not everyone is here to help carry i think having all that lovely glass is going to be
17:55such an
17:55improvement on what the room looked like before we didn't want to take out the windows and doors that are
18:01there before the other ones were on site just in case but now they're here they can just get everything
18:08ready i mean i've had my feel of noise and dust but i'm gonna have to suck it up for
18:19a few more days
18:19i think i'm hiding down in the basement trying to get on with other stuff trying to get everything
18:27that the designer um has put on the plans delivered in time so there's just so many things going on
18:36i'll
18:37leave them to it and try and ignore the noise and the dust but before the current flooring in the
18:42living
18:43room becomes covered in debris there's a decision to be made we decided to try and match the original
18:51marble floor take and take it all the way through to the kitchen and so we got hold of a
18:56few samples
18:57to have a look at to decide which was the best so i think obviously that color that one's out
19:04that's
19:05out isn't it i know some i know some of the the marble tiles have got a bit of that
19:09warmer color but
19:11yeah that's definitely i think that's not right yeah that's the clear winner in it i wonder well
19:17once it's polished that will look like that because we've got to polish the old floor yes that's what
19:24i'll come up yeah that will come up a lot that's a lot of there's 20 30 years of dirt
19:28and flattening
19:29on that you know it will polish up to the same as this i think it will mold in really
19:33well i think
19:34it will be fine if you look at that one for instance there's hardly any difference between them two
19:39no exactly and then that's already in there so i mean they're all different everyone is different
19:46that one's white that one next to it yeah look at this beige yeah exactly it's great that one
19:52that's what happens with natural products that's why you don't pick them you know you don't sort
19:56through them you just lay them as they come the more it's there the more it looks it looks right
20:00doesn't it the more it's later it'll be good yeah all right so we sorted on the floor i can
20:05order
20:05that then yeah okay thank you no problem this marble is from a village called makael in almeria
20:13so it's a few hours drive away it's kind of local marble which is why so many of the properties
20:20here
20:20have that same floor but it's used all over europe it's a really really beautiful marble product so
20:30i feel very lucky that we live so close to it and we can have it in our house
20:36with that decision made dominic's team start work on removing the two sets of double doors that
20:42currently provide access to the terrace
20:48while steven the expert window fitter in the team makes quick work of removing and then installing a new
20:55window in the kitchen that was delivered alongside the four doors and cost roughly 850 pounds
21:03with it quickly becoming one of the noisiest and dustiest days of the project so far jasmine manages
21:10to escape to her regular dance exercise class and it seems she's really starting to get the hang of it
21:17i do love going to my exercise class down on the paseo right in front of the beach it's what
21:26has kept
21:26me sane over these last few months i can switch my phone off for an hour
21:33and just focus on the class it's a little bit of time out it's a respite from all the chaos
21:44here
21:45invariably when i then finish the class and take my phone out of my bag i've got 16 million messages
21:51about various things and i get home to utter pandemonium almost every time but at least i've
21:59had a little bit of time out from it
22:07while back at the house with the doors now removed dominic and stephen are taking on the task of
22:13bringing down the wall
22:20it's wobbling now
22:22oh where are we get over that side ryan
22:25just go down there
22:27nice don't let it go totally just sort of because it's not as heavy as you think mate
22:33go on then yeah yeah don't get in the way
22:44it's not as heavy as you think though is it
22:47yeah they're all those bricks
22:52there it is look beautiful
23:02and once the rubble is removed jasmine's vision of a light-filled open plan living space is really
23:09starting to take shape oh my god where is everyone oh my god that looks amazing
23:24oh my god that's so worth doing it looks amazing i'm not going to start crying but i feel like
23:32i
23:32might it looks amazing for me so far that is one of the best improvements in this house that we
23:42have
23:42done i love it you're right dominic big enough hole in the wall it looks amazing it's gonna be great
23:50isn't it yeah it's really good it's gonna look fantastic that's one great thing in spain that
23:54you can just take out yeah in the uk you have to have lintels yeah all sorts of hassle it's
24:00because
24:00of the way they're built yeah here totally yeah let's go out lovely oh thank you once it's finished
24:07yeah that'll be fab
24:22having avoided a dusty and noisy week of demolition in the kitchen and living room while abroad for work
24:28john's back for the weekend and treating the family to a few hours away from all the mess
24:37it's friday night we have come down to the beach near our house for a barbecue
24:43and just to hang out now that the weather's so beautiful this is what it's all about living by the
24:48beach
24:50kids how good an investment was this trolley yeah that's brilliant now we can get even more stuff
24:56to drag to the beach with us we've started doing it maybe once or twice a month coming after school
25:03and having a barbecue on the beach it's amazing i mean the kids love it and the reason we moved
25:09to
25:09spain was to give them more outdoor life so you lift the lift the parasol up there we go and
25:16then put
25:16the lever down there we go that's great i mean genuinely there's a few times we've done this that
25:24i've had to sort of pinch myself and go this this is this is what it's all for this is
25:29this is it
25:34we've got some really nice spanish produce we're going to barbecue some vegetables and some veggie
25:38sausages can't get any better than this john loves to do a barbecue so we'll have our dinner down here
25:44and just chill
25:55happy
25:57this looks so good one mushroom oh there's a hot dog out of nowhere there you go thank you thanks
26:10yummy what me or the hot dog
26:33the water was absolutely divine absolutely amazing i love swimming in the sea it just makes
26:42you feel that you're part of something much bigger
26:51to be able to have the opportunity to just stroll down five minutes get in the water have a barbecue
27:00with the kids just spend time together it's this is the dream this is what we hoped life in spain
27:09would be like and once everything's finished in the house we don't have to worry about that anymore
27:14we'll be doing this all the time and i'll be able to switch off without thinking oh i must order
27:21those
27:21titles or i must make a decision on that law it'll be it'll be like this all the time that's
27:28what i'm hoping
27:46with the demolition for phase three now complete jasmine is eager to shift her focus to the next stage
27:53interior designer laura who previously visited the property has been developing ideas with her team
28:00alongside one of them olivia she's now ready to present their concepts
28:05hi laura hi hi how's it all going out there it's going well we're standing in our living room now
28:13we've we're missing a wall there ah so that's all gone that's been taken out i'm sure it'll all come
28:19together soon but look we're really excited to chat to you today the design team's done some fantastic work
28:25once uh we'd explored the layout actions and reviewed the inspiration images here we have your final design
28:34oh it looks nice so there there's the table behind the sofa yeah that looks lovely so we're talking about
28:45the sofa being across the middle of the room here so that'll be the living room zone and then back
28:52there
28:53the dining table it's really nice to do a sort of gallery wall with art and collectibles and bits
29:00and pieces that you know um and actually now that central column is out in the window it's going to
29:05flood even more light yeah great to be honest until the last day or two well i mean until today
29:12you couldn't
29:12really visualize what this room space empty might look like but now it is now that wall and that window
29:19have gone and now we see the plans yes yeah it's good oh that is beautiful i love that color
29:29it's so nice
29:32i think one of the tricks of painting um the background dark is the tv if you do decide to
29:38have one in the room actually blends into the background rather than it being a focal point which
29:43i think is a really clever and cost-effective trick yes looks beautiful can we just show you the final
29:50floor plan of it all coming together yes please oh god i can't wait for that day honestly oh that
29:59looks
29:59great this is the final annotated floor plan it's amazing yeah it will look even better in reality when
30:07it's finished oh i can't wait it seems like we've got a mountain to climb yeah yeah it will all
30:14come
30:15together really quickly at the end renovation work is incredibly stressful there's always surprises but it
30:21will come together you just gotta have faith yeah it looks yeah it looks great thank you so much you
30:27you have all been amazing i could not have done this without you and i have got a lot of
30:33shopping to do
30:34now to get everything to put it all together but i really really can't thank you enough yeah we're kind
30:44of
30:44drowning a little bit in stuff so uh being able to have you help us not drown and be our
30:50lifeguard
30:51is great thank you so much it looks amazing bye thanks so much thank you bye bye happy
31:02visualize it uh yeah it was good if it turns out looking half as good as what it looks on
31:07those visuals i'll be ecstatic
31:18it's monday morning and there's a day or two of making good and preparation to be done before the
31:24huge 11 meter square window frame can be installed with plenty of people on site to deal with that
31:30jasmine and john are upstairs finishing off another project that's been bubbling away in the background
31:37when we did joy's bedroom makeover we sort of held our hands up and we basically run out of time
31:42to
31:42do her sun terrace and yet the footprint of her tunnel sun terrace is huge so we were keen to
31:48kind of
31:48get it turned around now in time for the summer finally all the bits that i'd ordered for out there
31:56have
31:56arrived and we made some time to assemble everything and put it all together so while she was at school
32:05so
32:06it's great to be able to finally get that ticked off the list while jasmine and john already had the
32:14outdoor furniture set bought a few weeks ago at a local supermarket for around 500 pounds amongst other
32:21things they've added a water feature costing 120 as well as an egg chair and day bed around 300 pounds
32:31each
32:33it's hot but it's done now it's a bit flimsy i've got to get a couple of extra screws to
32:43put into it but
32:46it looks all right it's huge oh my god it's giant so the idea behind joy's balcony was to tie
33:03it all in
33:03with the rain forest theme in her bedroom so it's not completely rainforest but there's definitely a
33:10few touches like the rug um and it all connects quite nicely while it's not matchy matchy it just
33:18works together and some of the textures in her bedroom meet some of the textures that are out on
33:25her terrace as well so i hope she'll like it right keep your eyes closed step up now keep coming
33:35don't
33:36look up keep your eyes closed that terrace when we first came here to have a look around the first
33:43thing that hit you was the smell look at this joy it's gone it was like rotting drains it was
33:55disgusting
33:56there was a dilapidated hot tub that was full of green slime and mosquito lava and yeah it was hideous
34:07it made me gag
34:11is he actually throwing up i don't know i mean it's quite gross okay you can open your eyes
34:27what do you think
34:30i knew she'd go straight to the egg chair
34:37is that what you've been wanting
34:41do you like it joy it's mainly as good as the bedroom oh
34:46no wait change my mind it's better than the bedroom this is great oh she looks so happy
34:53now you've got your ultimate reading corner
34:59now that terrace is possibly one of the most inviting areas of our home you know thanks
35:06to all the help from laura and her team because they sourced all the bits and came up with the
35:12concept which works so nicely with joy's bedroom they will interconnect so i'm really happy with it
35:21how do you like the rug it's so pretty what about your day babe
35:27can i join you and if it's like super sunny you can pull your little curtains joy
35:35this is relaxing it's like you've got your own living room outdoors yeah it's so cool
35:42this is nice might end up actually sleeping out here joy
35:46so what about you you might you can set yourself something up on the roof terrace
35:51this is my balcony oh it's lovely
35:57if i had something like that when i was 11 years old i you know i would have thought all
36:02my christmases
36:02had come at once really pleased with how that's turned out and now i can tick another thing off my
36:08list which means on to the next big thing
36:32the doctor's just given me
36:35it all clear i don't have to come back the bone is 100 healed and i can play sport again
36:42it is i mean genuinely when he told me i nearly started crying
36:50it feels like it's been a really long five months what with everything else but hearing the news that
36:57i don't have to come back i don't need another x-ray and my leg is the bone is healed
37:02his wife the bone is
37:03good you can play sport again
37:07great news
37:14despite that momentous moment for john back on site jasmine has little time to pause and celebrate
37:20there's plenty to get on with there's so much work going on at the moment everywhere loads of people
37:27here working today trying to get as much done in as short a space of time as possible what's happening
37:35at
37:35the moment in the kitchen is all the preparation for floor ceiling plumbing electrics plastering
37:46we're going to have a little bit of a false wall on that side as you can see
37:52it's not quite ready yet but fingers crossed it will be very soon
38:00over at the other end of the room preparations are being made to install the large frame that will
38:05house the four glass doors to the terrace
38:09open the doors it's a tricky job the opening needs to be exactly the right size and straight and level
38:15all round over the course of the day plenty of progress is made with many hands on site
38:22but by the evening they've run out of time to install the doors
38:28the idea was to only take this wall out when the window or the doors to go in there had
38:39arrived
38:39which they have arrived i think there was a little bit of an oversight with installing it because we
38:45need that marble step uh before we can install it so the marble company are rushing it through for us
38:53but obviously um we still have to wait a little while but yeah i don't think i'm going to be
39:02able to
39:02sleep with this like this
39:13the next morning by the time dominic makes it to site the marble step is sorted the frame installed
39:20and the door slotted in but there's a problem two big doors never hit they locked to each other
39:27didn't they and nothing else yeah the two big doors locked to each other yeah
39:35it's the frame the wrong way around yeah the frame's the wrong way around isn't it yeah got to be
39:40in there
39:40the frame is in the wrong way around which is a pain in the butt
39:47well to make it work with this but it's got to go around the other way we need to take
39:51these
39:52doors out and then flip the frame around which is not hard and then uh it's the time we've lost
39:58that you know it's not a hard job it's just the time but we better get on with it yeah
40:05before we
40:05let's triple check this before we move it hold on hold on hold on
40:13now this one turned around would lock it in here and that tooth would be there
40:19but your handle would go on the outside but no yeah got you yeah it's definitely wrong
40:25it's definitely flip it come on who's the strongest
40:31the four two and a half meter doors weighing nearly half a ton in total are shifted once again
40:39that's it on there beautiful slide it along this is use your brains here not your muscle
40:52go on that's it beautiful perfect take that out steve and turn it around
41:01the team remove flip and reinstall the frame round you go go on mate a bit further oh go on
41:10mate yeah
41:12watch that chandelier that's all mate go to you i love doing things twice
41:24if construction was easy everybody would be doing it
41:30despite that slight miscalculation progress is being made while jasmine's left without doors for another
41:37evening the next step is to install them hopefully this will be our last night
41:44without having a wall or a door um yeah
41:52not ideal i'm just like one thing to be finished anything just one bit i could take off my list
42:14the next morning jasmine gets her wish as after a couple of hours of work
42:21okay oh new windows in oh my gosh long time coming it looks great but the house is secure
42:34there you go they look really nice yeah it was a good shout the whole room it just opens up
42:40everything
42:40yeah so it's lovely a little bit of plaster a little bit of yeah little kitchen only a few little
42:47tiny
42:47things left to do that's it yeah they were fun because uh they're like 120 kilos a piece so
42:55what each each piece yeah it's the glass bit it's um protected glass in it so you can't go straight
43:02through it oh yeah that's a good support gear you know i mean so that's why they're so heavy
43:07it's also the solar yeah glass isn't it no they look really nice i think it's it's that is probably
43:13one
43:13the biggest transformations isn't it of the whole renovation is to open up that whole wall and their
43:19sound the sound rating on them is way higher than you used to have you know looks really lovely the
43:26previous ones were single glazed and obviously because they had all that leading as well yeah
43:30you just didn't get a nice aspect outside good i can take something like this psychological that is
43:35it is very much psychological that's great all right well thank you so much that's cool i'll chat
43:42to you in a bit yeah yeah no problem i think it actually completely transforms that space because
43:49when you walk in through the front door you can already see straight out to the back you can see
43:54the
43:54greenery you feel like you know it's just inviting so i think it is definitely worth having done that and
44:04i
44:04think having that whole wall of glass is going to be lovely living in the basement it's been really
44:16hard getting it finally finished and looking amazing it's going to be superb it's really important jasmine
44:24try and grab little windows of time together when we can
44:29my dad would probably flip his lid if he saw this he's very much a perfectionist
44:37don't turn too early
44:43it's looking amazing isn't it good never in my wildest dreams did i ever think that something
44:50like this would be a reality in
44:59it's
45:01so
45:01so
45:07We'll see you next time.
