00:00The thing I thought was interesting about this win was, so Nelly goes wire to wire.
00:05It's at a new venue this year at Memorial Park, which obviously just hosted the Houston Open on the PGA
00:11Tour.
00:12And there was, you know, the Carlton Woods venue the last couple of years was disliked for a number of
00:17reasons.
00:18Like both because we were leaving the original Dinosaur Poppy's Pond location.
00:24They're jumping in this like weird murky water that maybe had alligators in it.
00:27We were not sure.
00:28That that feels weird and also just didn't feel like a proper major championship venue.
00:33And so this week in preparing for the Chevron championship, I was watching five clubs.
00:39Gary Williams hosts, of course, on Golf Channel.
00:41And you have Paige McKenzie on the show.
00:42And she was just talking about the fact that there's been some not undeserving major winners in the ladies game,
00:50but just some random names that just surface in some of these major leaderboards at one.
00:54And that she felt like we need to get back to venues that are truly identifying the best women's talent
01:00in the game.
01:00And I don't think a prediction could have been more spot on where you go and see Nelly Corder go
01:04wire to wire at Memorial Park.
01:07And I think, you know, again, we have less depth of coverage on the women's side of the game.
01:12But I do think it's interesting when you take a competition to a demanding exact venue, one that people care
01:20about.
