00:00But there's a couple other things I have. One is that I found super, super interesting. When you go and
00:06look at your ball striking, especially your iron play, you could tell that you have a ton of creativity in
00:13the way you play. I've seen you play in various different trajectories, but also changing, not just being a cutter,
00:19like you have no problem working it left or right as well.
00:24And talking with Joe, one of the things that he mentioned is like, dude, Akshay is able to use ball
00:31speed as a determinant for how hard he's going to hit a shot. And that's like the high level of
00:37field that he has. It's not like a clock swing, like a Bryce in the sham. It's like, take it
00:41to 1030. You could say, dude, 135 ball speed, seven iron. I don't know if that even matches up at
00:47all.
00:47But it can be that small of a number of a change that you're able to just refer to that
00:54ball speed and how that helps you hit a pin eye more often. That is a really, really cool thing
00:59that I don't think many other guys use.
01:02Yeah, I mean, I think my coach and I, he's kind of ingrained it in my head. Because I've used
01:10a track man since I was 15. I didn't really understand it. And then now I do, you know, I
01:17think we worked on my wedges, like I know, 83 miles of ball speed is 100 yards with my sand
01:26wedge.
01:27Um, I know my, yeah, I just know my speeds. I know how far it should go if the spin
01:34rate's correct.
01:36Um, and so that's where, yeah, I've just done it so much. And I'm always using track man on the
01:43golf course on the range. So, uh, yeah, it's pretty interesting. You know, some guys can just feel it out.
01:49But yeah, I do, man, like we, we, we think like hit it a little harder, hit a little softer,
01:54like you have a number that you can refer to, which is cool.
01:56Yeah, I've just done it for so long that I kind of know, I mean, my seven iron ball speed
02:02is always kind of like 132, 130 to 132, depending on how my body's moving. But, um, yeah, it's like
02:12if I'm hitting a draw seven iron, you know, it'll get up to 37. And that goes probably 188 versus
02:19182. It's like, yeah, it's just small things that I've just been so used to.
02:24And I manipulate the face so much at address. So I kind of understand those matchups more.
02:30And Joe mentioned to like one of the things that impressed him about you so much was that not, not
02:36only you were young and have all these different shots, but that your, your IQ for the game was really,
02:41really high.
02:41He said he hasn't seen like a young guy with an IQ that has just the feels that you are
02:47able to kind of manipulate the face like you're talking about, uh, to be able to, to add some, something
02:52to a shot.
02:53But he also mentioned too, that you might have the best bunker game on the PGA tour. Are we not
02:58talking about this enough? Like that you are potentially, uh, the most qualified, best bunker player on the tour.
03:05Are you going to go in and take the sand there?
03:07Yeah. I mean, I think I did finish probably close to the top. Uh, that's hilarious. I mean,
03:14he said you're sick and I always known you to be a good bunker player, but I need to like
03:19add that to the talking points for you actually.
03:21Yeah. Yeah. It's, I mean, that is definitely something that we aimed for, uh, at certain events. Um, which is
03:31funny, but yeah, I've hit some really like nasty bunker shots this year.
03:36Uh, the one Joe mentions all the time is whole 11 at Riviera. The pin was like front. I was
03:43in the bunker. You know, I have three paces to work with.
03:46Yeah. And I, I hit it, uh, you know, a foot or something. I've hit some long bunker shots really
03:53close. So yeah, it's weird. I think he kept saying that. And then I just kept believing it more. Like
03:59my bunker game is sick. Like just, if I'm in a bunker, I'm going to make, I'm going to get
04:03up and down. It felt like.
