00:04And high pressure continues to dominate, bringing largely dry weather and plenty of sunshine as well, but not for everyone.
00:11We had some fog overnight and this will reduce during the day-to-day but return again overnight.
00:16And then the risk of some splashes of rain in places over the next few days as well.
00:21So let's look at the details for the rest of Saturday afternoon.
00:25Plenty of sunshine, sunshine might be hazy at times.
00:28A weak weather front may just give one or two splashes of light rain across parts of Northern Ireland before
00:33the sunshine returns here.
00:35The low cloud, though, does linger across northern and eastern parts of Scotland, northeast England.
00:40And a bit of a brisk northerly breeze here as well will keep temperatures a little lower.
00:44But elsewhere, plenty of sunshine and this will lift temperatures well above average for most.
00:51High teens, low 20s, highs around 22, possibly 23 Celsius across central and southern parts of England.
00:59Though, notice the temperature is much lower across the north-facing coast.
01:03And where we do stay cloudy, northeast England, northern and eastern parts of Scotland here.
01:07Temperatures around 10 or 11 degrees, perhaps even the cloud thick enough for one or two splashes of rain.
01:14Looking at the UV levels reaching high across southern parts of England as we move through this afternoon.
01:21Elsewhere, moderate for many, just lower across the far north-east.
01:25So it is worth putting on some sun cream.
01:28And with those strong sunshine and light winds out there, pollen levels high to very high across many parts of
01:36the UK as well.
01:37As we look through the forecast into this evening time, low cloud across the north-east continues.
01:43And as we head overnight, sort of filters back inland again, especially across the east.
01:48Elsewhere, a mixture of clear spells and one or two thicker pockets of cloud as well,
01:54which may just bring one or two showers into western parts of Scotland, maybe northern Ireland, as we move through
01:59into the early hours.
02:01A few mist and fog patches possible where winds are light.
02:04And temperatures generally overall falling to around five or six degrees, so quite chilly.
02:09But in the countryside, again, where we see skies clearest for longest, we could see a touch of frost in
02:14places falling close to, if not below, freezing.
02:17So a bit of a great start in places.
02:19Some hazy sunshine too.
02:21And just notice across parts of northern England, parts of Scotland, northern Ireland as well,
02:26the cloud here could give a few splashes of rain as we move through the day.
02:30Perhaps even one or two light showers forming across the Midlands.
02:34But I think the vast majority of the UK, particularly England and Wales and parts of southern Scotland, will be
02:39dry as well with sunny spells.
02:42The sunshine is just a little more hazy overall compared to what we've seen today.
02:46And as a result, temperatures may be just overall a degree or two down.
02:50So highs around 20, 21 Celsius, still chilly along some eastern coasts.
02:55But perhaps Newcastle there, for example, a few degrees higher tomorrow compared to today.
03:00Through into Sunday evening, the risk of one or two showers still pushing eastwards.
03:05I think the showers most frequent across northern parts of Scotland, but most places ending the day dry.
03:11And it looks like high pressure holds on into next week as well.
03:15An increasing risk of a few showers around, but temperatures staying above average and plenty of sunny spells to come.
