00:00I mean, if you've told me at Hilton Head that Scotty Sheffer would have only had one win, I would
00:05say, how many runner ups does he add?
00:06You know, and I guess the answer, what is it, two now? Back to back runner ups?
00:11Back to back these last two weeks. And then, yeah, if you kind of go back to the schedule this
00:15year, of course, wins his first start at the Amex T3, the W and Phoenix Open T4 at the AT
00:20&T Pro-Am.
00:21And then a run of, you know, fine finishes, but not great by Scotty's standards before you get the second
00:26at the Masters and the second here at the RBC Heritage.
00:29And, of course, he has the arrival of a second son in that period of time, too. So who knows?
00:33I mean, I think it's interesting that this that period of time is also marked by a lot of chatter
00:39and a lot of observations from pundits about the swing looks different.
00:42He's doing this thing differently. And, you know, I think at the end of the day, it's it's what the
00:47team he has with Ted Scott, with Randy Smith, you know, Phil Kenyon.
00:51I mean, the putting is great this year. He's going to get the putting. The putting is amazing.
00:54Like he was I haven't looked at the most updated putting stats for him, but this week he was top
01:0110 in putting again.
01:02Now he was the first game putting this week. Yeah, no, I'm saying like just over the season. I'm sorry.
01:08Yeah. Yeah. For the season, he was in the top 20 in strokes game putting and his iron game was
01:13what was it heading into the Masters?
01:14I think it was 82nd approach to the green. And I'm sure the iron game, I think, was fine at
01:19Augusta.
01:20It was really good, obviously, on the weekend. But once the ball striking kind of starts sharpening a little bit
01:29more, man, he's he's he's just due to win another major this year.
01:34It's just obvious. You don't know which one or if it's multiple. Right.
01:37Yeah. Another great week for for see Wu Kim as well. Finishing solo third. It's been a great year for
01:43him.
01:43And then how about call him Warikawa like for dad back sufferers everywhere like a T4 this week.
01:49I saw I saw a highlight of like a bunker shot where he kind of a weird stance.
01:53You hit it and just like lean backwards into the bunker phase.
01:56I'm like, I'm not going to do anything to tweak this back anymore.
02:00Buddy, I know that that feeling all too well when when that lower back is starting to fire up.
02:07You you are careful with every single move, especially when you're bending down.
02:12Yeah. Yeah. Did you want to talk at all about Ludwig Oberg?
02:18Not that he was necessarily. I mean, he finishes 13 under.
02:21So he's, you know, five off the eventual playoff score, but double at 16 today.
02:26And it's just it's just a unique trend of a guy who we think so much of and who is
02:30obviously played played great in terms of finishing position over the past month, month plus.
02:36But is also in positions where we'd expect a guy with his skill set and his potential to convert some
02:42of these into wins.
02:43And just what you're seeing there from from his performances in his game and where there is room for maybe
02:48improvement or, you know, just development as a player to where you can convert some of these things into wins.
02:53Well, winning is hard. I think that's just the bottom line, man.
02:57It's it's it's that it is difficult and you all you can do is continue to put yourself in that
03:01situation.
03:02Ludwig's done it and it's going to pay off this year.
03:04I don't know what week it's going to be. Could be the next time he tees it up.
03:07I know he's not playing Zerk, but most likely playing Miami.
03:11It very well could be Miami will be the place that he gets it done.
03:15He just he's playing too good at golf. He's hitting it too well.
03:18I'm not concerned about about Ludwig O'Berg winning winning is not easy, but I can tell you that I'm
03:24not I'm not the least bit worried about his inability to if you want to talk about closing.
03:29Yeah, top fives in his last four of his last five starts.
03:33So he's really good at golf.
