00:00When we look at his season in that five and a half wins, I think the huge key for him is driving accuracy.
00:07I think players often refer to, well, you know, you guys talk about his ball striking all the time.
00:12But what you very rarely allude to is is how accurate he is with his driver off of the tee.
00:18And I think looking at some of those percentages, just looking at some of these big years that he's had in 2024, he had 67 percent of his fairways.
00:27And in 2025, it's 63 percent.
00:31And so when you look at kind of where that benchmark is, I always look at with guys that are long.
00:37If they're above 60 percent, most of the time, that's a good formula.
00:41If they get above 65 percent or 65 or more, that always feels like it's going to be a big year for that type of player.
00:47As long as, you know, they're not terrible around the greens or with the putter, with the irons.
00:52But Scottie's great at all those things.
00:54So when Scottie is able to keep it at 65 or more, he's going to win more than five and a half times.
01:02That's that's interesting.
01:03That's a good metric to pay attention to throughout the season.

01:05Of like just even what you're noting there of like that dip beneath 65, you know, just so let's let's pay attention.
01:12But if he has a year where it dips below 60, that's a year that, hey, he might only win a couple of times.
01:18I think he is poised to have just what monster year, an absolute monster year.
01:24This is the part of the show where, you know, I'm the sicko gear nerd.
01:27That's always trying to kind of put something new in the bag.
01:29And I think that was for TaylorMade staffers last year.
01:33Let's just call it what it is.
01:34It's like Scotty won two of his majors and Rory won his one major playing a year old TaylorMade driver.
01:41You know, it was that QI 10 that they kept in the bag.
01:43No one really was that 24 head.
01:45That was a 24 head, the QI 10 hit 67 percent of his fairways.
01:49No one, no one really wanted to play that that 35 head.
01:53And in fact, the one week where TaylorMade finally got Rory into that head and he lost like two and a half strokes.
02:00But then but then and I think that that's a really interesting thing.
02:03No matter what the manufacturer is, like the uptake on putting new technology in the bag,
02:08like obviously that all these OEMs are going to try to get the stuff in the bag as soon as they can.
02:12They're trying to go sell it. But the rapid rate at which that QI 40 found its way into TaylorMade staffers bag is something to pay attention to for all those guys.
02:22So that's I mean, it's your point there.
02:24What you've seen already, the eye test, like an already elite driver potentially gets better.
02:30Like that's trouble for everyone else.
02:32Yeah. And I guess the only other thing to kind of talk about was Scotty Scheffler.
02:37And actually a couple of things.
02:39One, first off, he has made, I think, 63 straight cuts.
02:43I think Xander's got the record going right now, but he's made 63 straight.
02:47And I was going to ask you, does Scotty miss a cut this season?
