00:00You know, I thought I would never see anything like Jack Nicklaus.
00:04I thought I would never see anything like Tiger Woods.
00:07Scotty Scheffler and what he's accomplishing right now,
00:10can he keep the momentum up?
00:11Is that really the big storyline with him?
00:14Because Tiger kept it up for over a decade, Jack for numerous decades.
00:19Can he keep it up in your opinion on what he's doing?
00:21Because this stuff looks like Byron Nelson
00:24when Nelson won all those tournaments in a row.
00:27Do you take away Scotty Scheffler?
00:30Well, I think he's extraordinary.
00:32I mean, I think what you need to kind of understand
00:35is the length of time that Jack did what he did
00:39and Tiger did what he did.
00:41I mean, I still say the most impressive statistic
00:46in golf, certainly, maybe in all of sports,
00:50Tiger didn't miss a cut for like eight years.
00:53I'm going to forget the number.
00:55It's 147 or something like that.
00:57That's inconceivable.
01:00It's hard to imagine that you're just not going to have a bad day.
01:04You're not going to wake up with a cold.
01:06You're not going to hurt yourself.
01:08It's hard to fathom.
01:11And Scotty's got a long, long way to go.
01:13But I think he'd be the first person to tell you
01:17that it's the first inning with him or the second inning with him.
01:21And he's been extraordinary.
01:22Two major championships last year in the hunt all the time
01:27until he finished out of the top 10, I guess, last week.
01:30He had a streak going.
01:33He's extraordinary.
01:34And I think if you play golf, you have even more of an appreciation for it
01:39because he does something, you know, you hear about it all the time, ball striking.
01:43That means how do you hit the ball from mostly from the fairway?
01:48And he hits it so close, which makes the rest of it so much easier.
01:53And I know it's a nuance and, you know, it's kind of an esoteric thought.
01:57But if you know golf, you know that watching him is just really, really special.
02:03But he's got a long way to go.
02:04And by the way, I got to just say one more thing.
02:06Roy Firestone, I mean, I don't know if it got overlooked.
02:09Look, that Paul McCartney imitation and the Richard Nixon imitation,
02:14that was pretty damn good.
02:17Absolutely.
02:18Yeah.
02:19Roy is a man of many talents there.
02:21Hey, you mentioned something, though, Jimmy.
02:23Let me ask you and put you on the spot.
02:25Jack's 18 majors in 19 second places versus Tiger Woods' consecutive cut streak.
02:34What do you think is more impressive?
02:38You know, I think it's a tie for the gold medal there.
02:41I mean, I'm a Jack guy.
02:42I really am.
02:44I just think that, you know, Jack won 18 major championships,
02:48throwing two more for his U.S. amateurs.
02:50I think that Tiger's winning percentage is much, much better.
02:54Tiger has probably, he's won.
02:56It depends on, you know, how you figure this out.
03:00But Tiger has won more events on the PGA Tour than Jack did.
03:04Jack did, that's unquestionable.
03:07But, I mean, both of them are extraordinary.
03:10I just, I'm looking for the right comparison.
03:13You know, who do you like?
03:14You like LeBron or do you like Michael?
