00:00I love the game as a team collectively because I started off being trapped and it was more individual sports
00:07and I feel like coming as a team together, it showed me where people could come together as a team
00:14and do things and take responsibility for stuff and things and I just really liked that.
00:18At the tender age of 16, Nikita Gosain is considered a prodigy, but football wasn't her first sport.
00:49The Pleasantville secondary striker's goal-scoring exploits saw her earn her first senior call-up at just 15 years of
00:56age and while most teenagers are preoccupied with school, friends and social media, Gosain is occupied navigating a senior career.
01:05I was a bit nervous because it's coming to play with people who are more experienced than me, but it's
01:11people I know and I play with in Wolfe already, so it's like when I come, they welcome me as
01:18the youngest on the team, I played, I got selected and I just continue pushing from it.
01:24At first I started learning a lot because I didn't know it comes with so much responsibility playing for the
01:29national team, but as I gradually grow, I express myself on the field, they just told me to be happy
01:37and enjoy the game and that's what I do and that's how I play so well on the field.
01:42And come Friday, Gosain is hopeful for the victory and making a family proud.
01:46I just want to tell you that we work really hard for the upcoming games and I really hope that
01:53we come on to the victory and no matter what, I hope that you'll continue to support us, show everything
01:57that you do and this game, I will play this game for my mother and my sister.
02:03My sister was in the last, last game she was there, she didn't get selected for this game, but I
02:11hope that she continue working hard to push for her dreams and I also play this game for my mother
02:17because I always do everything for her.
