It's just three days to go before the T&T senior women face off against El Salvador, in a must-win battle at the Hasely Crawford stadium on Friday.

At stake, is survival in the Concacaf world cup qualifiers, as a victory would see T&T through to the final round.

And while most of the T&T squad have not been in this situation, they have a leader in Kennya Cornder who is willing to lead the way.

00:00Going forward into this game on Friday I had the captain I have to lead from the front because I
00:05am no stranger to the game as you said before. Of course no stranger. I am worldwide international so I
00:11had to lead as the captain that I am and for the younger ones because they are the future. So
00:16come Friday they have to stamp the name they have to stamp the authority because we have to go out
00:21there and show children how to be good at the women but still play the football and we could still
00:25have a chance to qualify for this workup so Friday monster Kenya.
00:29My partner is leading from the front and taking the troops to the second round which is Kankaka and then
00:36in the future whole cup.
00:37And with the experience of playing abroad she explained the importance of integration.
00:42When they now come in you know strange faces and they are not familiar to the surroundings they come from
00:47different environments they are not familiarised with each other until they go back on so I had the captain have
00:53to say hey listen up we are not strangers here we are one we are a team and
00:59As you see we have to gel together we can't stay in one corner and feel it's not okay to
01:05talk no speak up talk to one another get to know one another so in that sense we will get
01:12the thing clicking and the communication and the gelling on the team it is one part.
01:17Despite being the season veteran in the squad Yaya Kordano said she is far from finish.
01:22Sometimes people think that the age is too big of a number for you to continue to play the game
01:26but age is just a number.
01:27I am 37 and I will be 38 in November and I can tell you that I can still run
01:33I may not run as the 18 year old the 16 and the 24 year old but I can still
01:38run as much as a 70 plus minute in a football game because once you are mentally in it and
01:45you mentally want something apart from the passion as Whitney said you are mentally in something and you want it
01:51you go after it.
01:52And she made her appeal to the 12th man to come out and support.
01:56Me as the captain from Trinidad and Tobago Kenya Yaya Kordano also known as Munster straight out of Tobago I
02:02would like to tell the public we need your support on Friday April 17 come out and support the girls
02:07because you guys could be the change in the game for us on Friday.
02:11Terence Clark, TV6 Sport.
