Our Junior Calypso Girls are basking in the glory of retaining their Jean Pierre Caribbean Youth Netball Championship, also locked in a keen battle themselves.

They are trying to defend their Jean Pierre Junior Netball Championship title against Barbados.

Both teams advanced to their final matches unbeaten with the winner assured the crown.

However, we have highlights of the Junior Calypso Girls thumping win over Antigua and Barbuda last evening at UWI Spec

00:01Antigua were not supposed to be much of a challenge for the Junior Eclipsa girls
00:04but it was the visitors with a narrow early lead.
00:10But that lead only lasted so long.
00:18As if the taller Colleen Lara was being fed at shooting chances.
00:28Lara scored again to end a low scoring first quarter at 9-3.
00:39But it was all TNT from there leaving the Antiguans shell-shocked.
00:47Last year Antigua and Barbuda had six goals and that is exactly how much they have right now.
00:54The Junior Eclipsa girls not only outscored the Antiguans but clamped them down defensively.
01:00So we've gone 12 and a half minutes without a goal for Antigua and Barbuda.
01:06A sigh of relief for Antigua when they finally ended their long scoring drought.
